• Jody (10/5): Highly recommended! - What a lovely place to stay. They even had wash cloths! I know for many of you that is not a big deal, but for some of us, it is huge. Thank you so much! I can’t say there was anything that I thought needed improvement. The access was easy, the rooms were lovely and the common area was very nice. The views of the mountains were amazing.

• Celia (8/5): - Las instalaciones son muy modernas y es muy cómodo. La cama era cómoda, enchufe con cable usb y usb-c directo. Limpio y de fácil acceso, te dan una clave y accedes cuando quieres. El precio me parece desorbitado para la localización que tiene el hotel y el desayuno que te ofrecen. Hemos estado en otros B&B donde te hacen desayuno escocés o al menos huevos revueltos. En este hotel te ponen unas cajas con cereales, galletas y dos croissants de bolsa y te dicen que eso es el desayuno. Nos pareció escaso y eso no nos gustó. Además que en cuanto a localización no está muy bien comunicado.

Voorverpakte en niet gezonde spullen in het ontbijt viel enorm tegen als onderdeel van de totaalprijs van de overnachting. Koffie en thee prima. Googlemaps gaf geen goede locatie, we hadden geluk dat we het bordje langs de weg in het donker net nog zagen anders waren we verdwaald in een single road track, geen pretje in het donker.
• Ralf (8/5): - Zimmer gut und modern eigerichtet. Mit Kühlschrank. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück bestand bis auf Obst, frischer Milch und Fruchtjoghurt aus eigepackten Waren (Müsli, Riegel, Porridge, Cornflackes, Nougatmilchhörnchen). Alles sehr süß.
• Gill (3/5): Unstaffed, pit stop overnighter with a view- if you like junk food - Newly decorated, new bathroom and facilities. Excellent view of Ben Nevis from the bay window with comfy chairs to view it from. . Humorous touches in the modern decor and posters. Very clean and tidy. For the well above average price we were expecting the usual B&B experience with welcoming owners, carefully prepared detailed facilities and a wonderful varied breakfast with steaming tasty coffee and a variety of cooked options as well as some home made and healthy options. But no, not a human on the premises (welcoming or otherwise) this place is a clinical experience with self check in via a keypad on the main door and room door. The bed was comfortable but the linen is scratchy and the duvet very bulky. We kept banging our heads on the sloping ceiling as the room was in the roof of the building and you can’t sit up in bed cos the sloped ceiling is too low. And the most disappointing thing was the“breakfast” which consisted of a pile of packets of extremely high sugar, junk food piled into a glass bowl with a half pint of milk in a small fridge and 2 apples and 2 old looking oranges. In a dark corner with poor light there was a coffee pod machine with only 2 pods and a kettle with just 2 normal teabags and a few herbal ones. At “breakfast” the coffee machine wouldn’t work and there were no instructions to help except a qr code taking us to info on a website which gave no information for troubleshooting. After 15 minutes of desperately trying to get a coffee fix (essential before driving for 300 miles as we were about to do) we rang the “host” who said they would be there in 10 minutes. The person did appear and told us there is a sensor inside the machine which if it fails to read the bar code on the pod it doesn’t work and needs a wipe to clear it - this is totally unacceptable situation and unrealistic to expect guests to work this out. We found the lack of any staff on the premises a rather unsafe practice.
• Margaret (9/5): Very comfortable - Very comfortable. Very clean. Well appointed property. A good selection in the packed breakfast. The key pad entry system worked well. There is no one on site so you need to be comfortable with that. Solo travellers may prefer a manned facility. We had an ensuite bathroom. At least one room has a separate bathroom, just a heads up when booking!

• JOANNA (10/5): Great location for all the Fort William and surrounding hikes. - Loved the location and setting. What an amazing view of the Ben Nevis Range. Just brilliant. Great little towns and villages nearby to grab pints and dinner. Very clean and well kept with a lovely common room and amazing on the go breakfast array. Our room had a bathroom across the hall - which was just fine, perfectly clean with AMAZING Highland Soap, but I would probably book a room with an en-suite bathroom next time.

It had an amazing view which made you just want to sit in the window chairs for hours! It's very dog friendly, there was a bed, bowels and treats waiting in the room for them which was lovely. The breakfast and snacks provided in the room were plentiful and replenished each morning too. Easy private parking and the keyless system was great. The room we were in had no door into the huge ensuite, but it didn't really bother us. It would be useful to have a lamp by where the kettle/coffee machine and fridge were as it was a dark section of the room with no nearby ceilling light.

• Luisa (8/5): - Zimmer und Bad sind anscheinend neu renoviert und sehr groß. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Und der Garten sah auch sehr schön aus. Frühstück gibt es ,vorbereitet‘ schon im Zimmer, hier liegen etwas Müsli, Früchte, Joghurt und Kaffe bzw. Tee aus. Der Tisch im Zimmer ist aber eigentlich viel zu klein um dort zu frühstücken. Bei uns ging außerdem die Kaffemaschine leider nicht.
• Andrew (10/5): Paradise in the Highlands - Everything. It was in such a beautiful rural location but not far from Fort William. The host was so friendly in messages and also in preparation of the room (she got us an easter egg) the rooms were smart, tidy and cosy. Food and drinks were stocked up well. It was genuinely the best place i have stayed in Scotland. Nothing.
• Diego (5/5): Just ok - Location was very nine and it has great views The place was clean, but unfortunately the heating didn’t work properly, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The blanket and towels felt very rough, almost like sandpaper, and didn’t add to the comfort at all. The breakfast was also disappointing—it consisted of a bowl of packaged, highly processed, sugary items left in the room, which didn’t feel fresh or thoughtful. Overall, not the experience I was expecting.

• Carla (9/5): Wonderful view of Ben Nevis - Despite the self check-in system, Joanna provides all the necessary information for a comfortable and safe stay. The location is wonderful and the rooms are very comfortable. I think the accommodation would benefit greatly from serving breakfast. The common room has a wonderful view, and the outdoor space has fantastic potential for serving meals in the summer.

• Cesare (10/5): Lovely, comfortable B&B and an excellent base for exploring surrounding sites - We chose this place as a stop on the way to Skye but it also proved to be an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area like Fort Augustus/Loch Ness, Glencoe, Glenfinnan, Ben Nevis… Communication with the host, Joanna, was smooth and transparent. The rooms and toilet/bathroom are spacious and clean with modern decor and the bed/mattress/duvet were really comfortable. Breakfast consisted of dry, self-serve options (fruits, oats, cereal, etc.). There is also a small fridge in the room to keep food fresh. The common room was a nice touch to hang-out and chill. There are also board games for people to play. None.
• Alicia (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had a truly wonderful stay at this guest house and wouldn’t hesitate to return. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention has gone into creating such a welcoming space. The room itself was absolutely lovely and comfortable. Everything felt fresh and well cared for. What really stood out though was the spotless cleanliness. Everything was immaculate. It’s clear that maintaining high standards is a real priority here. The little touches made all the difference. Things like quality amenities, breakfast and fridge items and those thoughtful extras that show the owner has genuinely considered the guest experience. Overall, a fantastic stay in a place where real thought and pride shone through. Highly recommend

• Jasmine (10/5): Fantastic stay and would happily come here again! - The property was immaculate there was not a bit of dirt anywhere, property was easy to check in and the breakfast was more than enough for two people for two days(the offer was sent to replenish and tidy room from Joanna but we didn’t need it) This is a dog friendly property and we were very kindly met with a dog bed, bowls and some treats for our lovely boy! I couldn’t have been happier and wasn’t expensive either. Also a big garden for a morning run (for our pup and a dog bin provided at the end of the house) this was a perfect stay! The entrance into the property was a little soft so did have to be careful as I drove in as my car was a little lower than expected but car park was huge and perfect once in!!

Access to a combination oven / microwave in the common room & motion sensor lighting in the garden ( not just the parking area) would have made it a 10/10 for us.

• Joachim (10/5): TOP Unterkunft - Die Unterkunft liegt idyllisch am Ortsrand. Trotz Hauptstrasse sehr ruhig. Toller Garten mit Blick auf die Berge. Die Zimmer waren top ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. Zwar gab es kein frisch zubereitetes Frühstück, aber das, was auf dem Zimmer vorzufinden war, war mehr als genug und für jeden etwas dabei. Sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und großzügige Zimmer. Frisches Frühstück und der direkte Kontakt zum Vermieter. Aber ich würde jederzeit nochmal wiederkommen. TOP

There was a good selection for breakfast and generously topped up for our second day Because we spent most of of our time in Fort William and were drinking we had to taxi to and from £35 a trip, had we thought that out l might have tried for a stay more central though l might not have got as good.

• Natasha (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Charming location and the rooms/ building was really lovely, with great views and the room size was amazing. Also loved the beside lamps. All the breakfast goodies were a lovely surprise and the best breakfast we've had on our trip!

• Ilka (10/5): Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt! Tolles B&B, mit tollen Gastgebern und einem tollen Frühstück! - Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit unseren Gastgebern war wirklich toll. Das Frühstück war super und ready to go. Immer wieder gerne!
• Hilary (9/5): Overall we were happy and would stay again. We would prefer a contact phone number rather than email - Location was good for us. Easy to find. Easy check in. Good parking. I prefer a softer pillow (personal preference) and softer duvet cover and softer towels. I would prefer hotter water in the shower. It was noisy when other guests were arriving and leaving ie doors banging and footsteps in corridor.

• Lisa (10/5): Parfait - Il y avait beaucoup de choix mis à disposition dans le logement pour le petit-déjeuner, même plus que prévu. L'hôte nous avait d'ailleurs laisser une gentille carte de Félicitations pour notre mariage

• Lara (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit gemütlichen Zimmern. - Sehr gemütliche und schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Garten. Für ein gemeinsames Frühstück ist im Zimmer ein bisschen wenig Platz.
• Karen (9/5): - "Einweg-Billig-Frühstück" auf dem Zimmer. Croissant, Müsli, Porridge, Süßkram, alles einzeln verpackt. Kein Tisch zum Frühstücken im Zimmer vorhanden. Bei dem Preis besseres erwartet. Schade. Zimmer und Ausstattung ansonsten hervorragend.

• Janet (10/5): Overnight stop off - Really well presented accommodation, comfortable and all fittings are of a high standard. Easy to find.
• Michael (9/5): A perfect stopover on our trio to the Hebrides. - Great room at a good price. Tech worked well and was easy to use. My wife found the total absence of personnel “spooky” as it was billed as a guest house but with no host!
• Nisiiii (10/5): - Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Zimmer, farblich sehr gut abgestimmt. Super Geruch von Zimmer, Bettwäsche, Handtücher etc. Großer Fernseher mit Netflixanschluss vom Eigentümer. Sehr ruhig gelegen und gut anfindbar. Schöne Aussicht und großer Garten. Parkplätze vorhanden. Kontaktloses Check-in/out was super funktioniert. Frühstück bereits im Zimmer vorhanden, musste man sich selbst richten, was für uns kein Problem darstellte. Wirklich ausreichend vorhanden, von Obst über Porridge zu Waffeln, Kaffee und Tee. Schönes, sauberes Badezimmer. Fühlt sich an wie nach Hause zu kommen. Insgesamt schönstes Zimmer auf unserer Schottlandrundreise! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!
