- Teuntje Mirthe (10/5): Geweldige lokale Indonesische ervaring - Bij Bili family ben je op verzoek onderdeel van een lokale Indonesische familie. Amir en zijn vrouw zijn ontzettend lieve en gastvrije mensen die je graag meer vertellen over hun leven. Zo mag je vissen met Amir en zijn zonen of mag je mee de kinderen naar school brengen. Een geweldige, warme familie! Er is geen warm water en naast de waterval hike is er niet heel veel te doen in het dorp. Gelukkig is er voldoende entertainment zodra je met Amir, zijn vrouw en twee hele lieve zoontjes optrekt.

We zijn met Amir via de jungle naar de watervallen gegaan – een echte aanrader! De kamer en faciliteiten zijn eenvoudig (geen airco, fan of warme douche), maar dat past bij de prijs. De warmte en vriendelijkheid van de familie maken het verblijf onvergetelijk. Werkelijk niets!

- Elise (10/5): Super ! - Nous avons été très bien accueilli, les propriétaires sont adorables et leurs enfants aussi. La chambre était très propre et le lit ultra confortable. C'est vraiment un plaisir de dormir ici, j'y ai passé de très bonne nuit de sommeil dans le calme absolu. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et il est possible de demandé des repas aux propriétaires. Nous avons pu leurs louer un scooter pour nous rendre aux cascades qui sont à 5min de route (ou 30min à pied). L'eau froide de la douche était très froide
- Andrea (10/5): Experiencia local, 100% "joya escondida" - La habitación se siente súper agradable, se duerme muy bien aunque hay que tener en cuenta el ruido de las mezquitas como en todo Indonesia. Pero lo que más hay que resaltar es lo acogedora que es la familia, que nos han hecho sentir como uno más los días que hemos estado allí. Por las tardes íbamos a volar las cometas con ellos, y uno de los días hicimos el tour a las cascadas (muy recomendable). Se puede comer y cenar allí comida tradicional muy rica. Nosotros solo estuvimos dos noches, pero si buscas un sitio para desconectar más tiempo la zona es perfecta, super local y no se ven apenas otros turistas. También nos facilitaron el transporte a nuestro siguiente destino. Muchas gracias 🫶🏼 Solo a tener en cuenta llevar unos tapones para los oídos si te cuesta dormir con ruido, y que el agua de la ducha es fría.

- Sylvie (9/5): Modest but great host! - Good price-quality accommodation, modest but warm. The host just opened his homestay, and we were warmly welcomed by his family with tea and a local snack. The accommodation is located near a small village, close to waterfalls, and the way there is a real treat driving through the rice fields of Lombok. Perfect location for a budget-friendly traveller who wants a local experience and escape the high-season crowds in Tetebatu. Cold shower water, but the host has just opened his homestay.
