Guest Reviews

- Susan (8/5): Short and okay - Double bed and good size ensuite Kitchen use was prohibited.

- Craig (1/5): Didn’t stay. - Doesn’t state it’s a student accommodation. Paid for a hotel thinking it was a hotel. Didn’t stay there.
- Wendy (9/5): Bargain stay in Bournemouth! - Clean and practical Nothing
- Marek (4/5): -
- Clark (8/5): - Convenience to the city centre, spacious room, friendly staff, staff helped sort out any issues I had Arrived to no mattress in assigned room, shouldn't have happened, was all sorted quickly so not too upset about this, but thought it was worth mentioning. Also might be worth having better pillows available, horrible neck ache/pain after two nights
- Terry (9/5): - Room was simple but clean as were en suite. Staff were all very friendly and happy to help. From checking in to any queries to checking out. Value for money was incredible! £121 for 2 nights August bank holiday. Just little things regarding having a guest come up to the room but hardly a huge inconvenience.
- MOHAMMED (10/5): Excellent - High security, excellent location and great staff None
- Michael (8/5): Wonderful! I loved it thoroughly! I will be back. - I loved the neatness of the room, bathroom, communal lounge etc. It was also very quiet with easy access to tourist locations. I definitely look forward to visiting again. I didn't like the fact that there were no utensils or pots in the kitchen guests could use to cook quick meals. There wasn't even an electric kettle to make tea.
I also didn't like that I was denied a request to extend my checkout time by 1hour to 12noon so I wouldn't have to wait for so long to catch my coach. This could easily have been granted to ease your guest's inconvenience.
- Melinda (7/5): - Staff were friendly, room was a good size and had a great view Room wasn’t the cleanest (stains on bedding). I didn’t realised I booked a room with no kettle this would have been helpful.

- See (6/5): Inept/lying staff. Will not be back and wouldn’t recommend - It was basic but clean. You get what you pay for and this place was much cheaper than the hotels. On arrival, a lady showed me to my room and was very friendly which was lovely. 1) A bit far from the beach but I didn’t mind the walk
2) Lack of toiletries and no hand soap. I stayed for three nights and ran out. It would be better if they just said they don’t provide it then I would have brought my own.
3) No kettle, and the subsequent lying or ineptitude from a member of staff called Rica. I had a sore throat and needed to drink herbal teas. There was no kettle in the room or in the kitchen. I messaged them and asked them if there were any tea making facilities in the building at all, as I was spending a lot of money buying mint tea from expensive coffee shops. Someone called Rica replied. Rica said there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the building. To rub salt into the wound she said I should enjoy spending time in the coffee shops! To be honest, I was astounded. Not only was this person not apologetic, they actually relished it that I was having to spend lots of money buying teas, which is actually just a tea bag and some hot water. Furthermore, on the penultimate morning, when the common room on the ground floor was quiet (it’s usually full of noisy students) I had a walk around and guess what? There was a tea and coffee making station, with tea and coffee provided! So either Rica was lying or they did not know the building well enough and did not know about the tea and coffee making station, which is strange as it’s just on the ground floor near the reception. All in all, just very angry about the lying/unwillingness to help/ineptitude - whatever you want to call it. I wish I had taken a photo of the station but yeah, it’s definitely there.
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anastasiia (8/5): Good price, would stay there again! - The location, price, the bed
Towels were provided
Very nice staff, both at the reception and hotline Some parts look pretty outdated (e.g. sofas in shared areas are stained)
No kettle or hairdryer. No toiletries really (they provide tiny shampoo and gel, no soap).
The communication was a bit confusing -- the online check-in form was asking if I'm a student (while the description didn't mention it) so I had to call them to double check
But I accepted the fact that it's a student accommodation and appreciated the towels provided!!
- Marta (9/5): Superb -
- Reddy (3/5): Poor -
- Zyra (8/5): It was great, I was truly satisfied, staff are helpful, clean room, - Enough amenities for solo travelers, had nice and comfortable communal spaces and tea/coffee making stations, sockets around the room. 5 grocery stores near the accommodation Air conditioning during summer times as window doesn’t open fully for safety and low water pressure in shower
- Alan (6/5): Hotel stay at Skyline - I was living on the 12th floor, I liked that. The hotel was near a supermarket. I didn't know the area, so I was hard to get around the town. I didn't like the room to start with the bed covers hadn't been changed and the room was dirty, The cleaner came after I had moved in. I cleaned the room myself and changed the bed covers myself, The floor and shower needed cleaning. It was very hot weather when I stayed there and there was no air conditioning. The hotel inside was very uncomfortably warm inside. The was no lamp in the room, And if I wanted a light on I had to put on a main light. There was no tea or coffee facilities.
- Lucy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aidan (10/5): Great Stay - Great staff, great location and facilities Beds were a bit springy
- Dorsette (7/5): Good -
- Berfin (6/5): Great property to stay in but definitely not organised with room preparations. - The room was extremely clean and as a whole skyline is in a great location in town centre. When I checked in the first day I didn’t have any bedding or towels etc, the room hadn’t been prepared for my arrival and as it was late I had to stay with a friend for the evening. I reported it the next day and a lady came to set up the room in the late afternoon while I was out however she did moan about me to one of the other guests staying in the same flat, complaining about having to provide the bedding and how she was meant to be having dinner which I find extremely unprofessional.
- Amina (7/5): great facilities but need to be improved - The area was really nice and the facilities were great. They have a rooftop and a poole table as well as some other activities There was no toilet paper and we got no information on how to get any. Furthermore we didn’t have any pans or else to cook sth with and there was barely any equipment in the kitchen
- Baiba (4/5): Be ready for unpleasant surprises - Located just at the Train station what is not also far from the beach and center of city The services was very bad. The staff treated like I was potential drug-user. There was even not toilet paper in the toilet!!! Trying to reach somebody by phone - was real challenge- they just did not want to talk as soon as I checked in. Understanding that this is not hotel, we still expect that there will be toilet paper, as well towel of normal size- in my case was only one small what is ussually given for hands.
