- Debra (4/5): - Lyn, the housekeeper, was friendly and there when we needed her. However, she was limited with what she could help us with as the owners live in another country. With a few improvements (towels, bedding and TV), as explained below, this could be a great property. It is spacious and in a good location for accessing the local area. It was clean, apart from the cigarette smell. No proper bath towels. There was one bath towel and 5 hand towels. Not adequate! Lyn had to provide us with her own towels but unfortunately, they smelt of cigarette smoke. We ended up purchasing our own and taking them home. One bed had no sheet, just a mattress protector, and another had no pillowcases, only pillow protectors. When we asked Lyn about this, she informed us that this was all she had been given. Again, we purchased our own and took them home. The beds were hard but passable. There was also a strong cigarette smell on the sheets and towels. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is no TV. The mount is still on the wall but we were told the owner has never had a TV in the property since they bought the house. We felt this was strange not to have one. There were obvious cameras in the living room and kitchen, which Lyn removed straight away when we arrived. However, it made us feel uncomfortable, as three women, that there could be more that weren't obvious. Parking was behind the property in the pub car park. We got a space and left the car all weekend. However, the car park was busy in the evenings and we felt that it would have been difficult to get a space if we had been out in the car for the day.

- lindsay (10/5): Great location, very clean and well equipped property - The property was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of space and had everything we needed for the weekend. The house manager Lyn was next door so we text her on arrival and she came round immediately with the keys. Lyn was very friendly and helpful. It was so easy to communicate with the host via Booking.Com, and text Lyn when needed. We travelled by train but there was parking nearby if needed. The property is a 5-10 minute walk to the Metro station, or about 20 minutes into the centre, so a perfect location. Highly recommend this property. Everything was perfect. Would have liked a TV, but we were out and about so not really a problem
