Guest Reviews
- Lukasz (5/5): Bed,and toilet clean. Walls and windows dirty - Very friendly and nice reception staff, very helpful and professional. Room needs cleaning-windows dirty/walls dirty.
- Heath (5/5): It was rubbish - Not a lot No air con sun was beaming though the windows was like a oven even with curtains closed
- Ugochukwu (7/5): - The room was fine and neat I didn't like the absence of parking space and the charges

- Andy (8/5): Everything good about the hotel except parking charges. - Great location. Comfy bed. Having to pay £8.99 a night parking.
- LAWRENCE (10/5): Lawrence Carlos - I liked everything. The rooms were extremely clean, the mattresses were very comfy. Just too good to be true! When I was checking out, I would have wanted to tell someone that I had left so that he or she can verify that I had left the room in the condition it was supposed to be. I found it weird to just leave without seeing anybody at the reception. All in all the hotel is the Best! The word 'Best' is an understatement.
- Carolanne (1/5): -
- Christian (6/5): - You could smell someone.had smoked.in the room. Don't think they know what a duster is, loads of dust everywhere and could have been a bit cleaner. No facilities at all to get breakfast, as they couldn't get anyone to sort food out, so just the bedroom and no breakfast which is really not exceptable for a hotel. However ther is a McDonald's right out side.

Locals had never heard of the dancenter hotel either, address on booking.com took us to an industrial park and there was no Hotels just a veterinary hospital
- Barry (8/5): Good value. - Breakfast was very good, a variety of options to choose from. Parking! A fee required not mentioned when booking.
- Amy (1/5): No Heating, take your money but you'll freeze all night. - No heating and given no refund No heating and given no refund and wasnt informed. This is a basic amenity in January in the UK. Disgusting.
- Farai (1/5): I didn’t even stay there at all and the company couldn’t even refund me my money at all because the property was so disg - Worst hotel l have ever seen in my life. Very very very very disappointed. Nothing was likeable in that property worst ever property in the entire worldwide
- Alasdair (5/5): - Value and clean room Breakfast was uneatable, cold sausages served from a rust heating tray (not warm)
- Andrew (1/5): Served cold breakfast and refused to provide a hot breakfast - Nothing Everything
- Iboroma (5/5): - The staff The room
- Adelina Vieira (10/5): -
- Teresa (8/5): - Close to where I needed to be. Everything I needed was available. A bit noisy and cleanliness atention to detail could have been better.
- Boong gu (8/5): 추처네 - 위치 없음
- Sachira (6/5): - Locating and price. Heating broken down but for whole building apparently. But no compensation for that. Otherwise all good.

- Sarah (10/5): Amazing - Amazing as per usual
- Joanne (6/5): -
- Ewelinas (9/5): Friendly staff and very good value for money - Nice clean and comfortable stay
- Gabrielle (3/5): Will not be booking again, ever! - Staff were polite and welcoming I an not fault them they were nice warm and engaging. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures on the website. No heating in the room. No TV. As it was a former holiday Inn I had high expectations. But the current owner appears to be treating it like a motel dark and dingy.
Other guest were very noisy and the fancy digital door lock was flimsy so it constantly felt like some one was trying to get into the room when the walk by. I did not feel secure. Nothing happened to us, but its just that I could not relax and did not sleep through the night on both nights
The breakfast was the worst I have ever had anywhere! egg shell in the scrambled eggs, burnt bacon, let's not talk about the sausage.....coffee machine not working properly. Not worth the £11.99 price at all. It had been cooked probably hours earlier you could tell by the texture of the food. Stay away. HORRIBLE
There is a macdonald right outside their front door go there instead or. Go to town.
Also they should give their guests free parking for the 2 nights i paid about £16 for parking.
- Gloria (9/5): -
- Inge (8/5): Très chouette - l'acceuil ! Le petit déjeuner était mieux sur photo qu'en réalité
- Setfree (5/5): I enjoy my night though was too short the place is very quiet and romantic - It’s located next to the main road and McDonald makes it quite convenient to get food, and the friendly manager was fantastic Old paint dirty outside oh that was a turn off
- Young (10/5): -
- Zak (10/5): -
- CALLUM (8/5): -
- Lindsay (10/5): -
- Greta (7/5): A comfort stay and the manager made it possible for us. - The manager went out of his way to help us with the online checking in progress as he could see we were struggling. What a charming and kind man. A real credit to the hotel. Traffic noise , and the payment process was knew to us.
- Dungate (10/5): -
- Stephanie (5/5): -
- Emily (7/5): -
- Natasha (1/5): - I don’t know they cancelled 30 minutes before I got there Didn’t get to see as they cancelled before I got there
- Justine (3/5): Poor - . The staff It was the hottest day of the year and there was no functional air con but it was present. The windows wouldn't stay open. Also a group of five if us booked to be in the same hotel for a competition and all other rooms were cancelled on the day except ours so we couldn't all be together as a team
- Helen (1/5): Terrible. - Nothing to like. You cancelled my booking hours before we were due to stay. Atrocious! The whole experience.
- Shackley (6/5): Ok but nothing more - Rooms were clean and reasonable size Aircon wasn’t working when I was there. Double bed is 2 singles put together. Only takeaways to eat nearby.
- Sarah (1/5): Cancelled our booking 3 hours before check in. - Room booked well in advance (months before arrival date at a good price). Got an email 3 hours before check in and already on the long journey up to the hotel to say our booking had been cancelled due to mechanical issues. Another friend who also booked and got cancelled called and they offered her a room but for double the price of her original booking. An hour later, the hotel advertised the rooms we cancelled for more than double what we paid. Very disappointing and stressful costing us more money.
- Andrew (1/5): Bad - Nothing Cancelled without proper notice. They called me at 1pm on day of stay to cancel and would not help with alternate accomodation
- Jahmeel (1/5): Bad -
- Janyne (4/5): Disappointing - The aircon only worked for short period of time in the room and it was an extremely hot day and night. This made it extremely uncomfortable to sleep as had to sleep on top of the covers. There was also a buzzing sound from something in the room all night. I couldn’t leave the TV on as it wasn’t letting me turn the volume down quiet enough to sleep but loud enough to drown out the other noise. The hotel was under a different name than when I booked before so I didn’t realise it was the same hotel else I wouldn’t have booked there again.
- Griffiths (8/5): Once you are in it's ok here... - Friendly front desk Extra for car parking. Needs another mobile app.
The company fronting the car parking are merciless in chasing payments, so don't mess with them, if you are leaving at 10, make sure it's before 10 or pay them more, believe me they chase and escalate your costs just for profit.
- Brian (1/5): Bad -
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (1/5): I couldn’t stay because it doesn’t exist - this is very dangerous - There was no hotel - it’s doesn’t exist, this is a fake listing There was no hotel - it’s doesn’t exist, this is a fake listing. I have reported this to the fraud squad
- Daniel (5/5): Passable - Basic proer
- Kathryn (5/5): Felt uncomfortable - Staff were nice There were small silver moths flying around the bed and bathroom
- Emma (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - Great value for money. The rooms were nice and modern. It is located next to a mcdonalds, which made the room smell of you had the patio door open.
The room was really warm as there was a radiator on in the bathroom and the thermostat didn't work so we couldn't cool the room.
- James (4/5): Poorly run needs improvement - Location Arrived to be told the room we had reserved a month before was no longer available and instead of a twin they could only offer a double, luckily it was me and my son as we had booked here as a base of travel for the Liverpool victory parade.
My friend had also booked a twin and ended up in same situation luckily he didn’t have to share a bed with anyone!
Others were having issues with check in and rooms not being available, seems they have overbooked via their affiliates.
There was no real “management” as such running the place, no food, no bar, luckily there was a McDonald’s and garage with a Tesco near by.
Both rooms had non working air conditioning/heating.
The doors that led out to the balcony were only secured by a small slide bolt crudely attached to the bottom of the door, luckily we had rooms next to each other as our balconies were not separated as one of the partitions was missing!
Overall the rooms themselves were acceptable and the shower worked.
Would I stay again? Maybe as it was fairly cheap for 2 nights but I’m sure the Premier Inn round the corner would offer better for similar price had I booked earlier…… this was fairly last minute(a month before) so considering everything it was lucky to get a room at all!
Having driven up 200 odd miles I would say it was lucky for them they offered alternative rooms.
- John (10/5): Great stay - Great stay when i found the place. Very confusing. Post code was right but hotel name is completely different. Bavilla hotel not Dancenter as advertised. Only thing i can fault is the address, if you book it in this named hotel.
- Leslie (1/5): Very poor! - Room was nice and large. Could not find the hotel for over an hour due to its change of name. In fact the hotel goes by 2 hotel names and an air b and b!?
After arriving i was told i didnt have a booking. Not only that but the hotel was at 106% overbooked!
After arguing with the staff for 10 minutes I eventually got a room!
Sadly room was run down.
Walls were dirty. Parts of the furniture were beginning to peel away.
- Oo (8/5): Very good -
- Dallas (7/5): Okay for price. - Close to Crewe train station. 24 hour McDonald's next door. Good sized room. £8.05 to park for up to 24 hours via Your Parking Space app.
Noisy air extractor in bathroom.
Only a double bed. I'll go to Travelodge next time where you get a bigger and more comfortable bed.
No hangars to hang my clothes.
- Alex (1/5): Bad -
- Raees (8/5): Amazing stay - I liked the room and security and cleanliness The TV and lack of youtube or media options like music
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (1/5): we had to book another hotel - Nothing. This is a scam!!!! This hotel isnt real
- Ben (9/5): Perfect to kick back and relax after travelling - The room was massive, especially the very modern bathroom. That shower pressure was absolutely insanely perfect. The air con was just what we needed too. The only thing that was needed was the bulb missing on one side of the bed and perhaps investing in some bigger tv’s. As the bed is quite a bit away from where the tv is on the wall. It’s not easy to see what you’re watching on a 20” tv.
- Triona (6/5): Pleasant -
- Triona (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susan (7/5): Basic but not basic price - Clean bedrooms. Pleasant and helpful staff No bar and drinks knowledge. Didn't know whbat a shandy was
Charged me£8.30 for a pint of shandy which only had a splash of beer.
No English food on evening menu
Food in evening and breakfast served on cold plates
- Hannes (3/5): Poor - Fairly central I guess. The address on booking.com was incorrect and upon telling them they said they already know... why not change it then?!
I had to phone customer service to find the place at all since the name and the address were incorrect on booking.com
Also the parking costs quite a bit of money and also 15£ for our dog is crazy steep. It was a third of our nightly stay. That's too much.
- Ariel (1/5): Bad - The parking used to be free, but for the past few months it’s been paid — you have to scan a code and pay. I used to sleep there once or twice a week, and suddenly today I started receiving fines for unpaid parking.
Apparently, the system only registered my payment until midnight, even though I selected noon (12 PM) the next day when paying. It still charged me for a full 24 hours, but only recorded it until midnight. I checked the confirmations from all the parking payments I made, and every single one ends at midnight — even though I always selected 11 AM or 12 PM the next day.
Now I have five fines to pay. It was fine before — the staff was different, and parking was free. Now it feels like they’re just tricking people and misleading them on purpose.

- Robinson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jake (6/5): Good but not exceptional - The room was pretty clean and the staff were pretty helpful at night and accommodating. Facilities were adequate and somewhat modern, though the TV was very old and NOT Smart TV / satellite The bed was very springy and not that comfortable
The parking was very expensive considering already paid £60 for a hotel room in Crewe. £7 of paid parking for only 12 hours overnight. Also birds and animals were around the car, meaning car had to be washed after the stay.
Parking should be free
- Stuart (6/5): Pleasant -
- Peter (10/5): Comfortable but relatively expensive - Very good clean room and great location near to the train station
Only issue was i found out another resident paid 50% less per night than me which was a very large difference
But overall the hotel was very good
- Steve (3/5): Disappointing given ratings on booking.com - Former budget chain hotel in need of maintenance.
Room dusty
Reception staff not customer friendly
- David (8/5): Good cheap practical stay in Crewe center - Comfortable and Large room
Felt safe
Unbeatable price for value deal My room was a disable room = the bathroom was not up to expected standard with a very small sink and an open shower very cold (but accessible to wheel chairs that was not required)
The door lock is with a code and not easy to use (and again at wheelchair level so I had to bend on my knees)
- Farhaan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robinson (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, really good price, central to the area. Clean, smart, staff cant do enough for you That you're saying I didnt show up when I clearly did 😂
- Apoorv (10/5): Perfect stay with good value! - Breakfast could be purchased at property. Was fresh & tasted good.
