• Primoz (10/5): - Bivanje v Villa E.V.A. je bilo zares posebno doživetje. Hiša je opremljena s predmeti lastnikov, kjer se za vsakim od njih skriva zgodba. To ji poleg prečudovitega razgleda na Goriška brda daje poseben čar. Še bolj kot hiša pa sta naju navdušila gostitelja – njuna toplina, pristnost in življenjska zgodba, ki je lahko navdih vsakomur. Z gostoljubjem ustvarita občutek domačnosti, ki ga danes težko najdeš. Toplo priporočava vsem, ki iščejo več kot le prenočišče.

Sono appena tornato da una vacanza nella struttura " Villa EVA Resort & Boutique" e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza incredibile! 😍 La struttura è di nuova costruzione e si trova immersa nel verde e nel silenzio piu totale. Vista panoramica mozzafiato. La pulizia è impeccabile, ogni angolo della struttura è curato nei minimi dettagli e si respira un'aria di freschezza e serenità. Le camere sono spaziose e comode, con letti morbidi e lenzuola di alta qualità. Il personale è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile ad aiutare, con un sorriso e una parola gentile. 😊 La posizione è ideale per esplorare la zona, con molti sentieri per trekking e percorsi per bicicletta a portata di mano. E se vuoi rilassarti, nel periodo caldo c'è anche una piccola piscina a sfioro con vista. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccellente e consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chi cerca un posto tranquillo e rilassante. Consiglio a tutti di provare questa struttura, è un vero gioiello! 💎

The modern architecture blends seamlessly with the countryside's natural beauty. The staff's warm kindness and care have made my stay comfortable, almost as if I were under the protective gaze of an ancient, wise samurai.

• Jennifer (10/5): - Amazing property. Gorgeous views from the pool and sitting area. Rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom is massive and shower the best of my trip. I felt instantly comfortable there. The breakfast was amazing. I loved doing an olive oil tasting with the friendly owners. My only regret is not staying longer. I loved my stay there. My only criticism was the wifi was a bit weak on our room. Not a deal breaker at all.

• katja (10/5): A perfect stay with breathtaking vineyard views, warm hosts, and exceptional olive oil - Villa Eva Resort is simply wonderful – the rooms offer breathtaking views of the vineyards and the beautiful Goriška Brda. What makes the stay truly special are the hosts, a lovely couple who create a cozy, homely atmosphere and are always happy to share great advice about activities in the region. Their excellent olive oil is the perfect finishing touch – definitely worth trying!
• Jessica (10/5): Traumhafte Unterkunft mit Blick auf die Weinberge. - Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Lage mit dem Blick auf die Weinberge ist traumhaft. Die Terrasse mit Pool laden zum Entspannen ein und man kann von dort hervorragend den Sonnenuntergang bestaunen. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr schön eingerichtet. Vor allem die Sauberkeit ist hervorzuheben. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Wir kommen wieder!

• Andrey (10/5): Incredible stay in a beautiful location with super inspiring hosts! - This was an incredible host in a beautiful location with a great deal of activities possible around. Inspiring family story and very high quality olive oil (you must ask for the tour and tasting!). The host family made every effort to make us feel comfortable and were very accommodating (even helping with local restaurant reservations). Overall, couldn’t be happier with our choice of staying Villa EVA - would 10/10 recommend! Nothing to add here

Surrounded by rolling vineyards and olive groves, the villa is a peaceful haven in one of Slovenia’s most beautiful regions. The accommodation was elegant, clean, and thoughtfully furnished—blending modern comfort with rustic charm. The spacious terrace quickly became our favorite spot for relaxing with a glass of local wine while soaking in the panoramic views. One of the highlights was the olive oil tasting offered by our hosts. It was an excellent experience—educational, flavorful, and a true celebration of local craftsmanship. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the region’s rich culinary tradition. The hosts were warm and attentive, sharing great tips for nearby wineries, restaurants, and walking paths. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. Whether you’re looking to unwind, explore, or indulge in local flavors, Vila Eva is a perfect choice. We’ll definitely be returning!
• Andreas (10/5): Very elegant and luxurious villa for relaxation. - The villa is managed by two brothers, both are very courteous and always helpful, we were not lacking anything. The villa is located in the middle of the vineyards, with a beautiful view of the countryside, very quiet and relaxing. Everything is of a very high standard, very elegant and luxurious. We enjoyed it very much. You should definitely take the olive oil with you, it is exceptionally excellent. The breakfast was also very good, not self-service. There could be a few more options, but this is only a minor complaint. Everything was very nice and luxurious. The surroundings do not belong to the villa, but they are absolutely beautiful. There is nothing negative to say.

• Branislav (10/5): Beautiful villa in beautiful location - We had an excellent four-night stay at the villa of the Brataševec family, who welcomed us with warmth and heartfelt hospitality. The room (and the entire villa) is beautifully furnished, featuring stunning paintings by our host, Miranda. They treated us like family, serving us delicious breakfasts, and their son Timon showed us how they produce their special organic olive oils. :) Timon also arranged a wine tasting for us at Otton Reya’s nearby winery - highly recommended!. Otton even called a friend who kindly lent us e-bikes (40eur/bike/day), allowing us to explore the breathtaking Brda landscape. The location is perfect you can walk to Šmartno in just 30 minutes and enjoy amazing food and wine there. Being right on the Italian border, there's plenty to see and do in the area. Thank you, Nadian, Miranda, and Timon, we will definitely be back! <3 There was nothing to complain about, everything was just perfect! Just manage your expectations: this is a rural area made up of small villages, so there aren't a lot of restaurants. Hiša Marica in Šmartno is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday (before 1st May) and the winery bar Brda Winery closed at 7pm on Wednesday. If you plan to eat in other villages, it's best to call ahead to make a reservation and confirm that they are open.
