At the front desk, they did not believe me, another guest had the same first name, but spelled differently. Gave me a NEW security code and room number, I told them it was not the code I was sent. Took the luggage cart to room 211 and walked in on a lady brushing her teeth! Had to go back to the front desk and start over!

Parking was $40/day which should’ve been included having in mind the apartment price.

The parking garage located under the hotel should have been included in the price. Was told we would get a discount for parking since we were guest but the discount code didn't work and they said they had no way to override or comp the discount.

The best part of the stay was definitely the front desk staff. Regardless of shift changes, there was never a lapse in knowledge about me & my plans for the stay. A complimentary Uber ride was offered after asking what we were in Nashville for, the staff handled the arrangement for our ride to the concert and all we had to do was be out front. Excellent service, very affordable, would definitely stay here again!! There was issues with the room key, however it truly wasn’t an issue because the service was so great. Staff handled it immediately!!

We were there less than 24 hours and got stuck at doors twice. Once in a stairwell and once outside our room door. It was inconvenient with all our bags. Also, The elevator didn’t work. Also, communication was lacking. We don’t know there was coffee in the lobby until we were leaving - I was that had been communicated to us beforehand.

- Brandi (10/5): It was a great stay. Easy to get to and the center of great high end shopping - It’s in a great location! Lots of boutiques near by for the women to shop. When I go back to Nashville with my besties, I’ll definitely stay here. I thought they had breakfast and they didn’t. I read it wrong and my boys were upset. It’s my fault tho. Also, I wish the master bed would have been more comfortable. The mattress was a little too stiff, so if you have back issues, i wouldn’t stay more than two nights.

Expect $10-12 per trip by Uber or about an hours walk. We had VERY noisy neighbours for 2 days. No housekeeping. Advertising as a hotel- this should be made clearer Room is very cluttered as trying to for a full kitchen at the end of the bed.

You can walk everywhere and you don't really need a car. They do have a garage if need one. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Nashville!

The neighborhood can’t be beat. It’s clean, quiet, and walkable to restaurants and shopping. Onsite parking and just a 15 minute drive into the city. The staff is really nice and helpful with whatever you need. Highly recommend. There’s nothing not to like about this property.
- Irem (10/5): An amazing stay made even better by the kind staff. - The Gilmore AvantStay is a true gem tucked away in Nashville’s 12th South Neighborhood. Everything about the hotel exceeded our exceptions, the rooms and kitchen were spotless and very well equipped. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. We were traveling with our 11-month-old baby on our very first trip as a family, so having a kitchen to prepare meals was essential. We were a bit nervous at first, but the reception team, especially Carina, made everything feel smooth and stress-free. We’ll definitely be back! Nothing.

- Danielle (10/5): This is a special hotel in the lovely neighborhood of 12 South in Nashville! - Location was great! 12 South is a wonderful little neighborhood with lots of restaurants, shops and pop-up vendors. Only a 10 minute uber to downtown and 15/20 minutes to the airport. Love that they offer suites as well! Perfect for our group trip. Staff was super helpful and friendly! The front desk all had great recommendations and maintenance was able to get a necklace out of our sink. Kitchen could’ve been cleaner (dust on stovetop, cobwebs on light fixtures) but we didn’t cook so didn’t bother us at all

Note that the hotel offers underground parking for $30 but there is free parking on the street, which I took advantage of.
