• Michael (7/5): - Great place, very calming and relaxing place to stay, the private villa was very nice! loved the private pool area. Unfortunately the neighbours have Roosters next to the hotel/resort and you are woken up at 4-4:30am each morning which was difficult for me being a late sleeper.

• Allison (9/5): Great experience at the Maar Resort! - The resort is really clean and beautifully designed. The staff is also very helpful and kind- giving recommendations for restaurants, helping with the room, fixing transportation etc.. It is a pretty small resort so the communication with all of the staff became really comfortable throughout our stay. The views from the resort are gorgeous and the food is good as well. I recommend this place if you are looking to have a chill resort experience! The location is pretty far from central Ubud, but it’s easy to order Grabs.
• Lisa (10/5): Echt de moeite waard om hier te verblijven! - Echt een prachtig hotel, echt hele goede service en een hele mooie plek! Dichtbij het drukke Ubud, maar in het hotel een oase van rust. Lief personeel, die geïnteresseerd is en met je meedenkt in je wensen. We hebben met de driver van het hotel een hele leuke dag gehad, richting Ubud centrum geweest en de watervallen bezocht. Je ziet ook dichtbij de bekende rijstvelden. We hebben hier erg genoten. Mooi design hotel super luxe! Bedankt Maar Resort!

• mayank (10/5): Amazing and Exotic - Amazing stay at Maar Ubud Resort. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing Bali vacation. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained with a lovely private atmosphere. The staff hospitality has been excellent throughout our stay. Special thanks to **Triesna** and **Jeje** from the reservation team for being very helpful, responsive, and making everything smooth from booking till check-in. Their warm service really made a difference. The resort ambiance is stunning, surrounded by greenery and perfect for couples. Breakfast was good and overall the experience has been memorable. A szállás tiszta és jól felszerelt. Elképesztő a látvány a természetre. Volt jógaóra a medence partján. Lehet robogót is bérelni a szálláson. A mosatás is gödülékenyen ment. A reggeli is mindig szuper volt. Egyszer az étteremben ebédeltünk, az is kifogástalan volt. Minden képzeletünket felülmúlta a szállás. Köszönjük!

Tari received as with so much love and explain us a little of Balinese culture too. Tari and Adi provide us information to get the best experience around the area. 10 of 10! Nothing. It was just perfect!

• Joao (10/5): Incredible, modern and caring! - Everything. The location is beautiful, the staff are extremely professional and caring and the rooms are charming, modern and clean. They were able to accommodate all of our requests such as out of hours check ins, early hours breakfasts, etc. This is the best hotel I have ever been for sure! Modern but extremely charming, well decorated with Ubud vibes. All staff were incredible! Thank you all for an amazing stay. Leaving the hotel 😔
• shaoyang (7/5): Great foundation, disappointing operation. - Every staff member is extremely friendly. The hotel's SPA is excellent. The hotel is beautifully close to nature, perfect for travelers who prefer peace and quiet, away from the crowds. The showerhead in Room 805 only provides either hot or cold water, with no way to adjust the temperature to a mix. However, the housekeeping staff kept instructing me to adjust the faucet to the middle position, as if I didn’t know how to use a shower. I was later moved to Room 807, but it seems to be slightly smaller than the room type I originally booked. This room type comes with a private pool, but the water level is a bit lower than it should be, which prevents the cleaning and circulation system from functioning properly. The quality of the butter and bacon at breakfast was very poor. The dinner tasted pretty good, but the pizza crust was chewy and dense, with no airy texture at all. In my opinion, these are all issues that the operations team could easily improve. If things continue this way, you will lose your high rating of over 9 points.

• Valeriia (10/5): - Мы остались довольны отелем. За некоторые недостатки не смею снижать звезду так как все со рудники стараются поддерживать уют и комфорт. Нас смогли заселить раньше времени. Вилла с бассейном была великолепна. Чистая , с красивым интерьером и украшена к нашему приезду. Уборка производилась ежедневно и в удобное именно для нас время. Для меня стало приятным удивлением , что уборка производилась два раза в день утром и вечером. Вечером виллу готовили ко сну: расставляли воду на тумбы , раскладывали халаты , украшали постель. Бассейн очищался ежедневно. Это очень важно. Замечаний к уборке отсутствуют. Пользовались дополнительными сервисами: заказ ужина и льда в номер. Еда была вкусной. Приносили очень быстро. Брали байк в прокат у отеля. Цена выше чем в городе , но готовы были переплатить чтоб не искать байк в другом месте. Байк был не новый и с почти пустым баком. Пришлось заправить его полностью и вернуть уже с полным баком. Пользовались услугами прачечной. Очень быстро и удобно. Хорошая цена. Но белые вещи отдавать не стоит. Вернули с небольшими пятнами. Приятным бонусом при заселении были ваучеры в спа. Оплачиваешь массаж 60 минут получаешь 90. Массаж очень понравился. Завтраки заказываешь по меню. Включено одно блюдо , один сок , один кофе , небольшая тарелка фруктов и тарелка хлеба. Для нас этого было очень мало. Вокруг отеля нет туристической инфраструктуры. Однозначно нужен байк или услуги такси если не хотите проводить время исключительно на вилле. Хотя это достаточно удобно для релакса так как обед и ужин можно заказать в местном ресторане. Я не смогла запомнить имена всех сотрудников но каждый , абсолютно каждый сотрудник был очень приветливым , готов сделать для гостей все и быстро. Все старались сделать наше пребывание максимально комфортным.

• Marc (10/5): The best hotel I have ever stayed at - If I could rate this property an 11/10 I would. The staff were exceptional. Every single thing was thought out. Staying here was truly a 5 star experience. It felt like a family not just a hotel, it was warm and absolutely breathtaking. The spa is incredible. It is private and quiet, and the perfect views of the beautiful lush greenery of Ubud. Daily activities as well as the driver from the hotel chaffering us around was amazing. I recommend this HIGHLY to anyone going to Ubud. We wanted to stay an extra week!

• Julia (5/5): - We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel at all. We stayed for four nights and were honestly relieved that we did not stay any longer. In our opinion, one night would be more than enough here — and only because the hotel has a beautiful territory and nice surroundings. Unfortunately, that is the only positive aspect we can mention. During approximately 85% of our stay, we did not have running water, which made even basic daily activities very uncomfortable. On top of that, the electricity went off several times, adding even more inconvenience. For a hotel of this level, this is absolutely unacceptable. The restaurant menu is extremely limited, offering mostly pizza and pasta. Even those dishes were very bland and tasteless, with no variety or quality to justify the prices. After a couple of meals, we completely lost the desire to eat at the hotel. The staff seemed to be trying to do their job, but it felt very forced and not sincere at all. Instead of actually improving the service or fixing the issues, they only offered small discounts or complimentary items, which did not solve the real problems. The smiles and conversations felt artificial, as if they were obligated rather than genuinely caring about guests’ comfort. Another major issue was the complete lack of soundproofing. We were regularly woken up early in the morning — sometimes at 7 a.m. by yoga sessions taking place right outside our door, and other times as early as 4 a.m. by hotel workers decorating or preparing the neighboring room. Proper rest was simply impossible. The hotel is part of a large hotel group, but unfortunately, this does not bring any benefits to guests. It feels like the focus is on quantity rather than quality, with little attention to maintenance, service standards, or guest experience. Overall, this stay was a big disappointment, and we would not recommend this hotel for more than a very short stop — if at all.
• yousef (7/5): - اطلال الفندق جميله. وحوض الاستحمام جيد. لكن المشكله الرئيسية الوزغ او السحالي والحشرات. انا حاجز 4 ايالي طلعت من الفندق بعد الليله الثانيه. بشكل عام الفندق متواضع جدا من ناحيه الخدمات والمطاعم والاكل الحلال. ممكن ينفع ليله او ليلتين على حسب طبيعه كل شخص هل يتحمل الحشرات والامور هذي او لا. اعتقد بعد لو سعره اقل افضل

Me and my wife had very good service Location is a little bit far from services, but no problem if you are looking for quite place.You can order whatever you want and transportation is easy and front desk can arrange. The toilet need more ventilation. one day the towels was having some burn smell.

• uzma (9/5): This is the place to go if you want to stay in a secluded place and want complete privacy in a comfortable setting. - Very well kept, functional and practical items in the room. The staff were very helpful but not very flexible with checking-in slightly earlier despite it not being particularly busy. Please note, there are approximately 10-12 rooms onsite so it’s quite a small hotel and not really a resort for those seeking a more energetic vibe. We booked the room with a pool which was great but unfortunately couldn’t use it much due to the downpour of rain every day. If visiting in November (or in the rainy season), suggest saving your money and opting for a room without the pool. The location was a bit far from the central area where shops and restaurants are located.

• Yen Yen (10/5): - The warmth of the staff is outstanding. They are always happy to help and accommodate us. They are also eager to share the local culture and traditions, making our travel here meaningful. Many activities to learn about the local life, nature and culture are available. For our part, we enjoyed the fresh market tour, ketupat making and the welcome massage. We also had a good time at the infinity pool overlooking the green valley. The one and only on site Italian restaurant serves good food with great service. Breakfast was filling and wonderful. Menu is limited but taste is good. Location is a bit far from the usual restaurants, but we enjoyed the quaintness and closeness to nature and local life. Perhaps the draining of water in the shower cubicle of the family room can be improved.
• yaser (10/5): - المنتجع جديد وتصاميم الغرف جميله جدا وتعاملهم ممتاز يبعد 20 دقيقه عن سنتر اوبود تقريبا يوجد شطاف انصح بطلبهم برش مبيدات النمل والحشرات قبل النوم وعدم ترك باب المسبح مفتوح ( مع اني لم اجد اي حشرات داخل الغرف ولكن للاحتياط ) اخذنا غرفه وكانت ملاصقه لمزرعة ابقار وحيوانات وكانت تصدر منها احيانا بعض الروائح المزعجه لكن داخل الغرفه لاتصل الرائحه لها وايضا ازعاج الحيوانات من بعد الفجر خصوصا الديك

• Asaad (7/5): - الفندق جديد وتصميمه جميل وعدد الغرف لازال 10 غرف فقط هدوء بكل ماتعنيه الكلمه كثره الحشرات حتى داخل الغرفه وعلى السرير وفي سقف الغرفه الفندق جميل بكل ماتعنيه الكلمه لكن تقفيل الغرف سيىء جدا لايوجد ناموسيه على السرير وهذا مطلب ضروري في مكان كهذا محاط بالاشجار والغابات. عند استلامي للغرفه في سقف الغرفه 🦎 في الليل الضفادع ملتصقه على باب البلكونه من الخارج .

The hotel is in stunning grounds and it’s so peaceful. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for them with a driver from the hotel able to take you anywhere you wish for a small charge I would say the location is very remote but easily able to get to places
