• Aimee (8/5): - Amazing location. The keys need to be in a correct key holder. We spent 15 minutes trying to find our key in aboit 15 key holders as there was no box numbered 35. We found ours in number 11 which was highly frustrating.

• Naheeda (9/5): - Amazing Views. Apartment was clean and modern. Only thing I would say could have been better or improved is the hot water system as multiple times we ran out of hot water and needed to wait 30 minutes for it to heat up, which isn't great when you are in the middle of showering.

• Sharron Chan (8/5): Lovely stay at Backbarrow - It was in a very quiet location, beautiful surroundings, no sound of traffic except for the rush of the water from the river. Beautiful view fr the 2 bedrooms. The apartment is very nice and comfortable. wished you had a slightly more equipped kitchen with some kitchen rolls, and kitchen towels so we can dry the dishes.

• Antony (1/5): If this is your property please read the reviews - Location was good by the river. Terrible check in process. Turn up to check in at 3pm and the cleaner had just started, I called the “management company” who said they would look into it and call me back. They did call me back after 2 hours to ask if the cleaner had gone ?! I’m not sure if they thought I would wait around with my 2 year old for the cleaner to finish ? Seems a bit bizarre to me. Anyway I hadn’t waited but did return just after 5 and the cleaner was just leaving. Property was poorly maintained, blind in one of the rooms didn’t work and bath didn’t drain properly. They did message me to remind me check out was at 10am and to clean to property and empty the bins. Of course they don’t put bin bags in the bin so best take you own.
• Kevin (10/5): Fantastic value for a seriously great appartment overlooking the river. - The location and the property were 1st class, inside and out. Just far enough out of town and still within easy reach of the Lakes and its attractions. Details of access could be sent sooner as if your travelling you dont always have access to internet of good signal to access the emails. This could have been sent a day before arrival without any security risk...

• Sharp (7/5): Stressful to start off and still no deposit back or good will gesture for our inconvienience - Not applicable The property was not ready the poor cleaner was beside herself no beds made no bedding washing in the washing machine all cleaning materials still out including the hoover. The cleaner was so lovely and tried her best to make us omfortable, she even had to show us where to leave the keys, it was very stressful
• Emmanuel (10/5): Perfect location to enjoy your stay - Perfect location to get, with a good distance to everywhere else. The location is nice for evening walks or sitting outside if you don't want to go anywhere. Good scenery, very quiet and calm. The rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. Cooker and oven comes handy as I don't eat outside. Kitchen is pretty much stuffed enough to prep a meal Nothing to dislike, staff were excellent. Replied time messages almost instantly.
• Valerie (5/5): No frills accommodation in a very good location. - Convenient location Bed linen and towels were clean and fresh Difficult to access. Key boxes were high on a fence with no lighting. Mattresses were very uncomfortable . Pillows were rather flat.
• Neel_r (7/5): Calm and serene stay - location, calm, serenity. good if you drive to this place. rail line across the hill, peaceful stay. kitchen and bath are clean and spacious. apartment number was missing from instructions, struggled to figure out which apartment. however there was quick response on phone after raising concern. lot of instructions to clean the place before leaving!! was afraid they will ask me to do their laundry before i left!
• James (10/5): Very comfy, would book again if the heating is on prior to our arrival, and they install internet!! - Gorgeous townhouse, very comfortable and modern. Ideal location for where we wanted to be. The accommodation we originally booked wasnt ready for some unknown reason, and apparently wouldnt be until the following day, so we were offered this instead. A larger property, which was great. However, the place was FREEZING when we entered. We set the smart heating system as high as we could before heading out. When we returned some 4/5 hours later, this had only just taken the chill off, not actually warmed it up. Anyway, we decided to eat in that night, having bought groceries. Whilst dinner was cooking, i began setting up my ipad to watch something, only to find out we hadnt been supplied a wifi code!! When i got in touch with someone from Prim Stays (the next day, when we left the property and i got a signal) i was informed this unit did not have any internet!! Which in my opinion is unbelievable in this day and age, and also considering these properties are no more than 10 years old!
• Nicola (8/5): Lovely location and a great family holiday. - Lovely location by the river. Great base to explore The Lakes and nice walks/pubs locally. The apartment had everything you need for a short stay and was a great base for a small family/two couples. Balcony on both aspects made the most of the morning and evening sun. Not as clean as I would expect. Fridge needed a wipe and we needed to washed the plates/cutlery before use. Bedrooms/bathroom were spotless.
• Linda (10/5): A must stay! - I highly recommend this property and if possible, would give more than 5 stars! The area is so lovely, the apartment was immaculate and has all that you need for your stay. Kitchen includes microwave, dishwasher (added bonus when your on holiday) and washing machine alongide what you would expect from a kitchen. There was a tv. and games console, with plenty of remote controllers and games if you like to play. Some condiments and cleaning materials in the kitchen, mini toiletries which was a very nice touch. All areas of the apartment are decorated to perfection and very stylish. The view from the balcony at the back is stunning, making it hard to want to leave the property! The updates from the letting company were so informative and extremely helpful! The before and after service was impeccable. Will 100% stay at this property again, hopefully soon!
