• Julie (9/5): Zen stay at Mizuya - It is clean and modern design. The breakfast is a Japanese one in a zen and ceremonial way in the way it was presented. There is no TV inside the room. There is no lift to the 1st floor. Luckily my luggage is not extremely heavy. The curtain is not a blackout one. I take my own eye cover with me. So it is all fine.

• Giorgio (7/5): The design of the hotel had priority over its functionality and comfort it would provide. Some basics are neglected that - Nice design and spacious rooms with utensils provided to prepare tea. Calming atmosphere and delicious breakfast. Staff was friendly and attentive. Windows are not well-built and very thin, insulation was poor and a lot of cold air was right by the bed. You could hear footsteps from people walking outside as if there are in the room with you. There are no shutters to black out light so we would wake up very early, because it was so bright.

• Ellina (10/5): Relaxing stay - We had a great time during our stay! The front desk staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. He showed us around and told us about the history of the building. The room was very clean and beautifully designed. The in-room sauna and a free standing tub made us feel like we are in a private spa! We had a restful sleep; couldn't hear any cars passing or neighbors. The breakfast was traditional Japanese inspired and it was beautifully presented. We've already recommended this place to our friends and will definitely stay there again when we are in the area next time!

• Chao Chia (9/5): Overall a very wonderful experience - The breakfast ambience feelss soothing and therapeutic and the food was fragrant and delicious. The room feels very comfortable and the sauna was a very nice experience. The room window blinds could perhaps consider blackout curtains so that sunlight doesn't shine in so early in the morning
• Matthew (10/5): A relaxing and enjoyable stay with the friendliest staff in Japan. - Mizuya was an excellent hotel for multiple reasons. Firstly the rooms were clean, spacious and had a nice concept. The location was good, close to the train station and bus stop and about a 5-10 minute walk to most of Miyazu's main attractions. Most importantly the staff were absolutely delightful and incredibly attentive to the needs of their guests. Breakfast was also delicious and a filling meal to start the day. I only wish the curtains blocked out more light in the mornings.

• Momoko (8/5): 素敵な空間、美味しい朝食で、楽しい時間を過ごせました！ - 宮津駅から徒歩数分で行けて、立地が良い。 また、備え付けのドライヤーやストレートアイロンがPanasonicのナノケアの商品で使い心地が良かった。貸し出しではなく、ちゃんと部屋にストレートアイロンが置いてあるのがすごく嬉しかった。 お抹茶の体験セットが部屋にあり、自分で点てて飲むのが楽しかった。 朝食が豪華で、水の上に浮かんだ小鉢を自分の好きなものを選んで食べられたり、バラ寿司が綺麗で美味しかった。地元の食材を使った朝食で、京都北部を体感できた。 綺麗なプライベートサウナがあった。 アート空間を体感できた。素敵な空間だった。 備え付けのアメニティは最小限な印象。髭剃りや髪ゴムなどは置いていないので、自身で持っていく必要がある。 まだホテルが出来たばかりで、ちょっとしたトラブルがあったが、スタッフさんが丁寧に対応してくださった。

• Bee Leng (7/5): Clean but not practical and not comfortable - Clean and aesthetic with nice decor The sensor light at the foyer cannot be off and every time someone go to the toilet it would on and lit the whole room. The double bed is too small for 2 people. The staff during check in was cold and did not offer any info of the room and property

Great location, close to train station, restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was insane, side dishes were delivered by a water tunnel thingy. All dishes were well presented and very delicious!

• Zbyněk (10/5): - Pokoj byl velice prostorný a velmi dobře vybavený. Sauna na pokoji s následnou přípravou tradičního čaje matcha poskytla příjemnou relaxaci. Nepříliš daleko od ubytování je velice příjemné výletní místo Amanohashidate. Také snídaně v tradičním stylu byla velice chutná. Velice bychom ocenili, kdyby mohla mít každá osoba ubytovaná na pokoji svou vlastní přikrývku.

• SHIMIZU (10/5): - 入った瞬間からどこかオリエンタルな香りに包まれ、洗練されたデザインの中にも宮津の歴史を感じることができる空間でした。 客室には、テレビや時計の代わりに鉄瓶や抹茶椀、茶筅などがあり、お茶を立てることができます。飾り棚に宮津の土地柄に合わせて選書されたであろう本が並んでいるのもよかったです。 スタッフさんがとても親切で、おすすめの飲食店や観光スポットを教えてくださいました。

• 佐藤 (8/5): なごみの空間 - きれいで、抹茶を点てられたり、アメニティ、室内着どれをとっても、コンセプトにこだわっているのを感じられ、過ごしやすい空間でした。湯船がない部屋を予約してしまいましたが、ゆっくり過ごす時間があるので、湯船があるお部屋のほうがおすすめです。 チェックインもアウトも無人で、このほうが良い方もいるとは思うのですが、フロントで待っている人がいても、なかなかスタッフがでてこなかったりしたので、とてもよい空間だけにちょっと残念に感じました。
• Tai (5/5): 見た目が綺麗なけど…… - 硬體設備整體來說 空間很大 房間 餐廳都很漂亮 整齊乾淨 房間內有三溫暖很棒。還有室內茶具 喜歡喝茶的朋友很喜歡。 但是實際使用下 我們是三位住宿 市內拖鞋只給兩雙 面紙只剩下小半包 浴室淋浴的水忽冷忽熱 要進入浴缸前的擋水橫條太鋒利 始我同伴腳底割傷（還找不到面紙 。早餐超期待的心情下樓 流水乘載著小菜 飄過來 很特別 吃四樣小菜一個湯 鹹的要死湯 比喝海水還鹹。四樣小菜 兩個小魚腥味太重 散壽司看起來很美。口味清淡 但無小菜可配飯 我們幾乎都沒有完食 還不如給幾樣醃蘿蔔 味噌湯 來的順口。整體住宿體驗下 不是很滿意。建議房間請設計者自己住宿一下 才会知道優缺點。

• Yuen (10/5): Lovely great hotel - Recently opened and everything was great, sauna in the room, clean, spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. Staff and manager made time for a chat, were very friendly and explained a lot about Miyazu, the hotel. Love the property, gave us a lot inspiration how to decorate our new home. We felt zen in this hotel. I stayed the first night in a ryokan, and regretted I didn’t book both nights at this hotel. We would love to stay longer and definitely book this hotel next time. Nothing
