• Jennifer (10/5): Beautiful apartment with great views. - The apartment was absolutely beautiful and completely renovated. The owners, Anne and Bernard were very sweet and accommodating. The location is very nice and overlooks a beautiful old church. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Apartment was on the 3rd floor so it was tough to carry heavy luggage up the stairs but that’s our fault for packing too much! Stairways were beautiful though and plenty wide enough to easily climb while holding suitcases.

We especially appreciated the owner’s generosity in sharing their excellent sense of interior design and carefully chosen furniture. The owner is also very responsive, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. In addition, the free parking inside the center of Avignon was a great help for getting around the area. the apartment is on the 4th floor without an elevator, which can be tough for travelers carrying large luggage.

The host was very helpful and responsive and nice. Great location close to cafes and restaurants, and available parking. We were happy that the host helped us up the stairs with our heavy luggage when we arrived. We did not know the apartment was on the 4th floor and there are no elevators.

• Laura (10/5): A gem in beautiful Avignon - What a beautiful space! The decor is bold and colourful and the furnishings are a mix of antique, lucite, leather and chrome. The bedding was lux and the mattress was wonderful memory foam. This apartment is up 50 stairs, so we have a view from the windows over a courtyard and some roof tops, it was quiet and lovely. The wifi is not as strong as it could be. A signal repeater would help solve this. A small collection of toiletries would be appreciated

Lovely friendly hosts Stairs very steep and potentially dangerous. We assumed that there would be two separate bathrooms. There are separate showers but only one toilet

• Julie (10/5): Excellent apartment in the old town, perfect location. - Beautifully appointed apartment with every possible thing you could need in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Large and comfortable living room and exceptionally comfortable beds with lovely sheets and duvet. Very comfortable pillows were on the beds. The hosts were very warm and provided all of the information that we needed plus helping us to park the car in their garage. Every room was spotless. Both showers were easy to use and provided hot water with enough pressure. There was beautiful artwork on all of the walls which added to the enjoyment of the apartment. Both bedrooms were large. The apartment is in a perfect location in the old town and there is even a free local bus service to get around the town. Don’t forget that it is a walk up, but every step is worth it.

• Gontmakher (10/5): high end living - very elegant and tastefully renovated and richly decorated apartment in an old building with an interesting floor plan; perfectly equipped full kitchen; high-quality towels, bed linen, l'occitane soap, and even dressing gowns! absolutely lovely and helpful hostess Anne, so is her husband! the only thing that was slightly inconvenient - one toilet, while the place was advertised as the one with two bathrooms. in fact, there were two ensuit bathrooms and one separate toilet.
