• Annie (10/5): Amazing place, beautiful scenic views, well equipped and host was responsive and communicated well. - It was well thought through, comfortable, warm, clean and secure. It has beautiful views from the windows looking down on the town. Nothing I didn’t like, perhaps a new duvet is needed for the double bed though- but not a critical as the place was warm and temperature well controlled .
• Terry (7/5): - Had everything we needed. There is a cute little garden to enjoy the views in the nice weather Although the property is fine it is up a very steep incline. If you are not fit and able then this property is not for you.

• Amy (8/5): Delightful! - Great size, nicely decorated, loved the outside terrace with a cracking view over Matlock Bath. Good location, short walk to the main Street although a couple of steep hills! Nice views. Host very kindly accommodated a slightly later checkout. A very small thing but we like to have a TV in the bedroom. There were quite a few dead flies under the window in the lounge which had been overlooked.

• Duc Hong (10/5): Our stay at the property was so perfect - Perfect location and stunning view from the bed room, living room and garden. At the property you will have everything you need for your stay Just a short walk down the hill with lot of restaurants around. Very close to Heights of Abraham and Gulliver’s Kingdom. Louise was very lovely and helpful. She gave us very clear and easy to understand instructions about everything which made the stay very comfortable with out any problem. I wish i can give Louise 10 stars. Highly recommend!
• Alana (10/5): We have had a sublime two night stay here at Swiss Cottage.the facilities were all thought out with care the views were - The style was very cosy and calming. The views were astounding and the location was perfect. It was quite a hill which we didn’t realise however after a few walks up and down it we got used to it.

Had issues with the shower but once reported the host tried to get it fixed and do to poor signal couldn’t make contact with me when I was out to try and resolve it but it wouldn’t put me off going back there.

• Dan (10/5): Fantastic cottage! Highly recommend - Everything! The cottage acted as a fantastic base for us to travel around the peaks, and even though we didnt spend much time during the days in the cottage, aside from sleeping and breakfast, it had everything we needed and more. The beds are comfortable, as is the living space and the views are amazing from the terrace (which obviously come at a cost of steep hills, but its a small price to pay). Location was perfect for us, being only 25 minutes from bakewell and roughly 40 minutes to buxton as well as local attraction like the Heights of Abraham (10 minute walk) we had everything very close by. Louise was great, she sent through very simple instruction on best way to access property by car or train and made sure we had all relevant info about keys etc, as well as checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. All in all we had a fantastic time, and would 100% stay again! Absolutely nothing.
• Downes (10/5): Stunning cottage in an equally stunning location. - Swiss cottage is a well equipped and beautiful cottage located in a prime spot. We loved the views of the river from our bedroom and living room window. The cottage itself was equipped with everything and anything you'd need. It was literally like staying at home. Its location allowed us to explore the area with ease. If we didn't want to drive, access to trains and buses were no more than a few minutes away. We look forward to coming back. Nothing.

The views were as stated very good but not without a price i.e. steep climbs to actually get to the property when on foot.
• Rebecca (10/5): Perfect base! - Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We felt relaxed and at home from the minute we arrived. The views from Swiss Cottage are breathtaking !! Perfectly located for exploring the surroundings. We visited Chatsworth and Haddon hall. Haddon is an absolute must if you want to step back in time! Lovely pub called the fishpond for good food and live music a short walk from cottage. We will be returning as there is so much to see and do .
