• McCloskey (6/5): I would not re-book this property largely due to the smoke smell and the noise from the pub. - The kitchen was huge and the main level was very comfortable. The location was fairly convenient to shopping and restaurants and just 15 minutes walk to the Tube. A bus stop was just 2.5 blocks. There were plenty of cooking pans and utensils with a nice table if you wanted to eat in. The property smelled of smoke, likely from the pub next door. There was a lot of street noise outside the front bedroom (also from the pub). The listing did not indicate that the flat was two stories or that the easiest entrance was through a bedroom. There were no basic supplies like paper towel, sugar, coffee or tea although there was a tea pot. Check out was complicated because we were told to use a lockbox for the keys when we left, but did not have a code to that lockbox.

• Mai (5/5): - The location is good and the property clean Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The staff falsely claimed that we had more guests than the number stated in our booking, which was not true. It felt like an attempt to charge us extra money without any valid reason. This situation was stressful and unprofessional, and it seriously affected our stay. I would not recommend this place based on how guests are treated.

• Rachel (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful flat, well located, spacious for my family. Contacted company managing property daily - sometimes twice for the first 4 days desperately asking for fans since London was in the middle of a heatwave (22F higher than normal and no A/C and no airflow.) Company assured me daily that they were chasing down maintenance and by day five the heat and lack of airflow was unbearable, I had to locate fans and bought 4 for $180USD. I asked to please be reimbursed and was denied saying they HAD fans but couldn’t get them despite assurances to get them. By the end of the eight day stay, still no fans. (Dryer latch broke and blinds fell - both of which I would consider typical wear and tear of a space - maintenance was supposed to come and they did not.) It’s a shame - otherwise this would have been the perfect experience. (They handled viewings of the home beautifully and were incredibly organized.) I just wish they would have been fair and said they would reimburse me funds and to buy them after 24 hours of not fulfilling their promise.
• Pyles (1/5): Terrible. I was highly inconvenienced during check in, the stay and check out. Stay away. - It was a nice apartment. That’s about all I can say. First of all, check in was at 3 — there was no communication from the host about 1) the address (I had to find it on Google) or 2) how to get access. I was waiting over a half an hour before someone finally answered me after I had to call to figure things out and it took another 20 minutes before I was finally granted access; again this is all after the stated check in time and it’s not like it’s a hotel where luggage can be stored, etc. On top of all of this, the host reaches out to say they have a showing in the middle of the stay! I was only there for three days. They had a housekeeper come and then obviously I could not rest or shower until after the showing which was very frustrating and inconvenient. To top the whole stay off, check out was at 11 and then the housekeeper just shows up unannounced around 15 mins before then and starts cleaning. Very awkward. I wish I had never stayed here. The location in Chelsea is nice but it’s also very far from the station. The hosts were the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced.
