Kai (6/5): Decent for the price. - Location was good and it was very cheap. Staff were very pleasant. There was an issue at check in with the incorrect room being allocated and on the second day the keycard and the door lock didn’t work (this was fixed quickly by the staff). The mattress was quite warn out and there weren’t any oven trays, oven gloves or tea towels provided.

Rianangae (7/5): Good. - Location is convenient. The stuff is friendly wand welcome. I felt like I was home. It was very quiet. I slept well. I would book there again. The shower draining was very slow, at some point i thought it was blocked. The bedding was grey making it hard to tell if its clean or not🥺 I felt uneasy.

The building itself is modern and secure, with key fob access and 24/7 staff on-site, which gave me great peace of mind. My room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed—from a comfortable bed to ample storage and a private bathroom. The communal areas, especially the kitchen and study spaces, were also well-maintained. What really stood out to me was how responsive and friendly the staff were. Any minor issues were handled quickly and professionally. It really felt like a supportive, student-friendly environment. I’d highly recommend Vincent Place to any student looking for a safe, convenient, and comfortable place to stay in Southampton!
