- Alecsander (10/5): a beautiful beach resort - a very beautiful view from the restaurant, directly on the beach, a pleasure to spend your stay, I would also like to walk on the beach and jump straight into the room, good service, I saw that some rooms are under renovation, including my room was renovated, everything smells new, thank you to the hotel

- Sabina (10/5): - Zanzibar Beach escape!! Super miejsce! Idealne do odpoczynku, relaksu w ciszy i spokoju. Z dala od tłumów turystów. Bardzo miły personel, zawsze uśmiechnięty i pomocny w każdej chwili. Klimatyzacja działająca bez zarzutów, sprzątane pokoje co dwa dni, cudowny klimat wieczorem, pięknie oświetlone, ogrodzone. Piękna zieleń wokół... jednak to co skradło mi serce to przepyszne jedzenie!! Danny jest masterchefem na Zanzibar... widać że gotuje z sercem i pasją... jego potrawy są godne 5☆ restauracji... wszystko świeże! Prosto z oceanu! Nawet można zauważyć rybaków którzy przynoszą świeże ryby, owoce morza do beach escape... Danny jest bardzo gościnny... Jest wspaniale! Przedłużyłam pobyt o jedną dobę... wybierając ten hotel kierowałam się opiniami na booking i google.. I nie zawiodłam się!! Napewno wrócę! Polecam 1000 % Asante sana!!

- Sonja Sibila (4/5): A huge disappointment - The comfort of the double bed in our room, Friendliness of the domestic (coloured) personnel. The hotel manager. I understand one wants to be good to the personnel - but bringing them all into the apartment next door to yours, where you have to listen how the manager shouts loudly at the poor employees (who are adorable!), this was a bit too much for us. Don't believe you'll get an apartment with sea view (what we booked): the view from the balcony is at the rusty roof of a house where massages are being offered and is located at the beach: DIRECTLY in front of Beach Escape 1&2. The nasty roof you need to look at all the time ia about 4 meters from your balcony. NO SEA VIEW: IT'S A LIE! Not the fault of the accommodation, but: After the breakfast, the sea disappears due to the low tide, leaving behind a muddy desert. One would need to walk for at least 100 meters to get to the water. The high tide brings the water back only in the evening - so there is very few time when you can swim. Not a word about this phenomenon when you are browsing the Beach Escape 1&2 website - and no swimming pool to be able to swim at least there, when the sea is gone. For us, Zanzibar was a huge disappointment.
- Elisabetta (9/5): Da tornarci! - Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura per 12 notti in una stanza fronte oceano e con trattamento di mezza pensione. Scelta molto azzeccata. Aprire la porta della stanza ed avere già i piedi nella sabbia è una sensazione impagabile. Avevamo qualche perplessità sulla scelta della mezza pensione. Ma anche qui non potevamo optare per una soluzione migliore. Ogni giorno pesce freschissimo acquistato al momento dai pescatori sulla spiaggia cucinato in modo eccellente e gustoso su una splendida terrazza vista oceano. Anche le altre portate sono sempre state all' altezza. Dan (il proprietario) e Said hanno fatto proprio di tutto per soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. Da tenere in considerazione il fatto che la struttura ha un generatore di corrente molto utile viste le continue interruzioni di energia elettrica su tutta l'isola. Inoltre possono anche provvedere ad organizzare escursioni. Noi non abbiamo usufruito di questa possibilità in quanto, non sapendolo, avevamo già provveduto da casa. Nulla!

BABU) We've finally settled back home, but a piece of us is definitely still in Zanzibar and at the hotel! We want to send a massive thank you to you and your incredible crew for making our 6-day stay so unforgettable. From the moment we arrived (a day earlier than booked), the personal touch you offer made us feel less like guests and more like family! A huge shout to Saidi- your right-hand man a treasure -and the lovely Teddy; they both went above and beyond to ensure every single need was met! Danny, your presence really makes the place shine. Whether it was your constant jokes, your warm hospitality, or that incredible cooking, you made every day special! I will never forget the seafood and especially the octopus soup;-) Thank you for the laughs, the amazing food and the memories. We can't wait to come back and see you all again!!! - Stephen (8/5): - Big room, right on the beach, nice staff, huge upper story restaurant with great view, delicious dinners, great price, good air-conditioning ( I mention this because I stayed in a much more expensive upscale hotel with minimal ac) My room and porch had no beach view (blocked by another building) but just a few meters away were beach lounge chairs so it didn't matter.

I enjoyed the home cooked food from seafood to heart warming soups. The property is not big but cosy and the restaurant overlooking the ocean is one of the best perks. - Widad (1/5): Rude and aggressive owner - The staff was lovely and very apologetic they were very sorry for the rude behavior of their “boss” We decided not to stay because the description of the facilities did not match what was actually available in the room. If the information had been accurate, there would have been no issue and we would have either taken it into account or booked somewhere else. The owner was very rude and spoke to us in an aggressive manner. He was not willing to help or find any solution. I genuinely felt sorry for the staff, as he was speaking to them harshly as well. I travel frequently and have never experienced anything like this before. We chose to leave immediately
- Tobias (10/5): - Wir haben hier 7 wunderschöne Tage erlebt. Die Anlage befindet sich direkt am breiten, ruhigen Sandstrand. Gegen Abend kommen einheimische Kinder an den Strand, spielen Fussball, springen von einem Turm ins Wasser und haben ihren Spaß. Es ist eine schöne, authentische Atmosphäre. Das Personal der Anlage ist sehr freundlich und stets daran interessiert, dass es den Gästen an nichts fehlt. Bei der Planung von Aktivitäten haben sie uns super unterstützt. Ein Highlight war eine 3-stündige Fahrt auf einem Fischerboot, die wir direkt vorm Hotel gestartet haben. Für die Rückreise wurde uns eine Kombination von Flughafentransfer und Besichtigung von Stonetown organisiert. Das Frühstück ist lecker und wird für jeden Gast ganz frisch zubereitet. Abends kann man ebenfalls direkt in der Anlage essen. Das Highlight sind die Fischgerichte, die ich einige Male genießen durfte. Es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die zahlreichen Fotos bei Booking.com geben einen sehr guten und zutreffenden Eindruck von der Anlage. Wir haben für einen fairen Preis ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage bekommen. Das war uns wichtig, weil wir in Deutschland keine solchen warmen Nächte kennen. Herzlichen Dank nochmals an Danni und sein ganzes Team für diese schöne Zeit im "Paradies" 😊🥰☺️ -

L établissement étant éloigné des commodités voir avec Dani si vous voulez faire une soirée à Paje il va vous trouver la solution avec un transport qui emmène là où vous voulez ou là où il vous suggère. Impeccable ! Après c'est comme partout sur Zanzibar avec les coupures électriques mais un groupe prend le relais. J en garde un bon souvenir Sur le dernier kilomètre on se demande si on a pas fait une erreur car tres pauvre mais une fois la porte d entrée franchie c'est pas mal et sécurisé. Juste c'est dommage que le bâtiment tres vetuste ou il y a les massages ne soit pas rase ca donnerai encore plus de cachet

Dani is a big part of why this feeling exists. I stayed for two weeks, during which he helped me with everything I needed. And even more than that! Manegerne var hele tiden på stedet, så det var nemt med kommunikationen om alle relevante spørgsmål. 2. Omgangstonen var fri og le. Vi kunne bare spørge, og vores ønsker blev opfyldt. 3. Værelsesrengøringen var helt i top, med nye kreationer med håndklæder og blomster, en daglig glæde. 4. Beliggenheden er fantastisk lige ned til Det Indiske Ocean med lagune, rev, og det bedste badevand og den skønneste brede sandstrand. 6. Her serves frisk fisk lige køb på stranden fra fiskerne. 5. Et godt sted for endnu at få et glimt af det oprindelige Zanzibar.

Auch das Essen war ein Traum! Es hat einen direkten Zugang zum Meer und Liegen stehen bereit. Einzig ist es schade, dass der Strandzugang mit den Sonnenliegen etwas schmal ist, das sieht man aber bereits auf den Bildern und weiss bescheid - also kein Problem! - Slawa (8/5): Aufenthalt mit Ruhe und Entspannung. - Das ganze Personal und besonders der Manager Danny waren super nett und zuvorkommend, haben uns total freundlich mit einem Willkommensdrink begrüßt. Das Abendessen war hervorragend, mit Liebe und Hingabe zubereitet. Die Salate sind besonders zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist wunderschön und lädt zum Ausruhen und Entspannen ein. Ein wunderschöner, sauberer Strand, perfekt zum Spazierengehen oder Laufen. Den Abend kann man super auf der Dachterrasse mit tollem Ausblick ausklingen lassen. Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen! Die Zimmer sind sauber aber renovierungsbedürftig.

Good addition in the room was mini fridge .If you are with a car market, hospital, laundery even gym is few min away I wish all of tham best with the future business All ok ,sometimes power cuts off (like on all other places in Zanzibar ) but they have a generator and all is ok wery soon.

The photos was made to hide the big building in front the window with huge old roof. The ocean is visible from the room from right and left side. Also photos do not show that rooms is connected with each other without door and to go to the bathroom you should go by the bed in the other room.

The fish soup and fish and chips were fresh and delicious! Breakfast is an event to look forward to. Dan and his staff made me feel right at home. It’s beachfront, and I personally found the beach here nicer than Paje and Zambiani. Lovely staff, phenomenal breakfast, and an overall fabulous experience. The host is also very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Would have wanted to stay longer!

Nos ofrecieron un desayuno variado incluso fuera del horario Teníamos el vuelo por la noche y solo reservamos este hotel para no pasar la tarde en la calle y poder ducharnos. Es verdad que no nos pasó nada ni nos trataron mal, pero el lugar transmite cierta inseguridad: siempre había hombres afuera, uno de ellos con un machete, lo que hacía sentirnos vigilados constantemente. El dueño intentó ser amable y servicial, pero su forma de ser era algo alterada y nerviosa. Mientras estábamos descansando en la playa, nos grabó con su móvil sin nuestro consentimiento. Estábamos tres chicas y un hombre. El sitio está en la playa, pero justo delante hay un edificio que tapa las vistas. La habitación nos pareció muy triste y oscura, no tenía armarios para colgar la ropa, ni cubo de basura. Además, no había agua caliente en nuestra habitación, ni disponen del secador del pelo y justamente ese fue el motivo principal por el que reservamos el hotel: poder ducharnos antes de viajar. Finalmente no pude hacerlo porque no soporto el agua fría. La puerta del baño no cerraba y habían colocado un cajón para poder usarlo como cerrojo. Adjunto foto En general, a pesar de que no tuvimos ningún problema, el lugar no nos transmitió seguridad y nos pareció triste. Como hemos estado alojados en varios hoteles, este no lo recomendaría para una estancia larga, ya que en la zona no hay mucha vida y no representa Zanzíbar

- Ruben (9/5): An amazing location with a good vibe. - The peolpe were very nice, specially Dani (host), Said (tourguide/manager) and the ever smiling James (staff/security) You got the feeling of coming home. Each day we got nice continental breakfast (more than enough) and Dani was very helpfull. If there was anything you needed you just had to ask and specially Dani would try to provide it. Good service also in booking tours/ taxi, you get a good price. We had an appartment near the beach and we just had to jump of our lounchchair to see the sea and this beautiful quite beach. Am fost foarte mulțumiți de tot, deși nu este prima noastră vizită în Zanzibar și a treia oară în această locație. Acest hotel corespunde raportului preț/calitate, chiar mai mult! Вот время прилива шезлонги даже приходится отодвигать насколько вода близко) Спасибо хочется сказать всему персоналу и особенно Дэнни ( Дан по-нашему). Бренда-ты красотка) завтрак выше всяких похвал! Фруктов много и они разнообразные,основное блюдо-очень вкусное и тоже много всего, на любой вкус! Есть вариант купить н пляже или на рынке морских гадов и тебе их их очень вкусно приготовят. Не везде берет wi-fi, но это скорее плюс, чем минут, больше времени будете проводить наедине с океаном, а не в Instagram) Присутствуют комары, но они есть везде))) Потолочный вентилятор на полную и проблему сдувает)

Está regentado por una persona muy maleducada que grita a los clientes e intenta chantajearles con devolverles el dinero si tiene una buena reseña (pongo fotos que lo prueban). La habitación no tenía vistas al mar ni nada de lo esperado. Ni siquiera tenía el número de camas que contratamos y tuvieron que improvisar una cama extra con tablones, por lo que no pudimos acceder a la habitación hasta las 9 de la noche, con el colchón en la calle mientras llovía a cántaros (adjunto también fotos de esto). Había bichos por todas partes y no funcionaba el wifi. Todos los clientes con los que coincidimos aquel día se estaban quejando y el dueño no hacía más que insultarnos y gritarnos. A nosotras, en particular, nos insultó en nuestra cara por ser españolas...algo inconcebible. Le solicitamos que nos devolviera el dinero y se negó. Nos escribió días después diciendo mentiras (como que nos había propuesto una habitación superior, cosa que nunca se produjo, porque lo hubiéramos aceptado en vez de tener que esperar a que montaran la cama a esas horas de la noche). Voy a hablar con booking para que lo retiren de este página. Ni se os ocurra ir.

This person is from Romania, and they may try to use tantrums to get what they want, but it doesn't work that way... Place is really nice for 44$ per night for two, but owner freaking crazy little boy who asking everyone to leave only 10 stars comments, if not he starts harassing you and saying that you're a terrible person, that when you lived there, you broke half the room, even though my wife and I lived there very peacefully and hardly ever stayed in the room because there was no electricity. If you need to grocery store you need to walk around 30 minutes it far away from hotel but very peaceful place if you will not meet owner every day who want to talk you every time about nothing

- Filip (10/5): - Majitel je skvělý. Pro klienty udělá maximum a je to sympaťák:) Ubytování má velmi dobrou úroveň a snídaně jsou velmi dobré. Dokonce je udelaji i mimo běžnou dobu snídani, sezenou tuktuk nebo taxi. Poloha hotelu je v klidné, ale zajímavé části ostrova (z lehátka vidíte drevenou věž v moři, na kterou lze vylézt!!!). Paje je blízko, takže kdo chce divoký společenský život, tak jej má kousek. Za mě nejlepší z několika ubytování. Da se tu strávit vice dni a odtud dělat výlety.

Bagno molto stretto e con un po' di cose da sistemare (manca lo specchio, non c'è un mobiletto per appoggiare le proprie cose), stanno facendo dei lavori di ristrutturazione della struttura (stanno costruendo un ristorante) e di conseguenza ogni tanto ci sono state interruzioni di corrente e di acqua. La posizione della struttura su Booking è completamente sbagliata, sarebbe da aggiornare.

Delicious and bountiful breakfast - enjoyed it every morning, with a selection of fruits, juice, omlette, pancakes, bread and sausages. Price is what you pay, value is what you get. Great value for the one week I stayed there. Lovely house cat, Maria, will also make sure you get relaxed by meowing around you and cuddling. P.S Great view from the balcony and even better one from the upcoming restaurant located on the property. Will definetly come back! Nothing to complain, as Dan will make sure you get everything you need.
- Svetoslav (9/5): - Location is amazing - exactly on the beach. Rooms 7 and 8, where we were accommodated, were very clean and had a nice view of the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the pleasure of enjoying traditional cuisine prepared by them. The manager is responsive and ready to help guests with anything they need. Our very short stay in this beautiful place 😄😉

- Pauline (7/5): - Les chambres d'hôtel sont idéalement placées: tout proche de la mer. Le petit-déjeuner est absolument incroyable (on vous demande même ce que vous voulez manger...). De loin le meilleur petit déjeuner que j'ai eu de toutes mes vacances sur l'île. Le gérant est vraiment là pour vous faire passer le meilleur séjour possible, il est très disponible et toujours prêt à rendre service. Il nous a nettement rendu le séjour plus agréable. Mention spéciale pour le manager donc. Le personnel est très avenant et attentionné. La wifi est gratuite. L'environnement est particulièrement calme ce qui permet de vraiment se relaxer. L'eau de la douche était à température ambiante mais pas chaude. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre (et partiellement à l'extérieur). Il manquait encore des équipements à la chambre (comme des porte-manteaux et tables de nuit) car celle-ci était toute neuve. Ce qui est dommage c'est que les serviettes n'étaient pas changées tous les jours. Les photos ne correspondaient pas à la chambre que nous avons eu. Le lieu est assez éloigné des commodités.

- EN (9/5): Beach Getaway - The location is ideal as it is steps from the beach. The staff and management were friendly and happy to assist with what was needed. The environment was quiet (if that's important to you) and just what I was looking for. Great breakfast was served with a variety of fruit, coffee/tea, juice, eggs, pancake/bread. Overall, it is a relaxing and calm site with easy to the beach. Some hooks in the room to hang things would be great. Improve WiFi (I know that this is being worked on).

- Elsa (10/5): - Very clean and beautiful, a little paradise. The hotel is literally on the beach. The breakfast was amazing. Good place if you want a real escape with nothing around, juste nature and peace.
