Guest Reviews
- René (7/5): it has potential - good price and location near train station, subway and supermarket. i really enjoyed the water pressure in the shower. free laundry. japanese toilets. all in all it was a good place to stay. first i was shocked and worried about some reviews here and on google, its also very sketchy that they have different rooms offered individually on booking.com and that i had to send my passport picture to a gmail adress. in the end it worked out fine and we had no problems, but this place just seems to be run by unprofessional amateurs.
it seems that this place used to be a youth shelter since - even for asian standards - everything was pretty small and low. there is only one shower room on the ground floor, if you have nothing to hide its fine.
the ground floor is full with signs all over (really all over, even next to the vending machine is a sign that says vending machine here) and it just looks like a complete mess and makes me understand the bad reviews. there were lots of other people who got in no problem so my advice for everyone coming here: read your messages!
i would like to end this review with a recommendation to the owners: please dont put signs EVERYWHERE! if you make one or two infoboards around the ground floor and put the wifi code in every room, that makes the whole place look elegant and professional. and speaking about professionalism: get a business email.
you could make a good place out of it if you really wanted.
- Carmen (7/5): You get what you pay for - The location was really good, instructions very clear since they're automatic, they are provided in several languages.
You get what you pay for and everything is what you see in the pictures.
Clean sheets and towels are provided, and the place has several appliances you can use.
The area has a lot of fun places to visita, and there even is a really good rated sauna/spa next block. Futon was a bit tough to sleep in.
The shared bathrooms for the rooms smell like public bathrooms, although they get cleaned very often. An exception is the bath area, that is neat.
You are provided with utensils to eat, but somehow the cups you use need to be washed by the ones who use them, but no designated area or soap... So I used hand soap and washed them in the laundry. Not everyone did since the cup I used was dirty, and I mean very dirty.
