• RCGibb (1/5): Decent space, terrible management. - We were happy with the location and the space itself was decent The hassle getting in. I asked if we could drop our belongings multiple times leading up to the stay with vague answers being given and finally the day of the stay they repeatedly said they were checking. They then gave us the WRONG apartment information so we walked into a room space that did not at all match the description and turned out to be the wrong place, where we booked was actually directly above it and did match the description. The hassle of trying to drop early made the experience poor, a simple no we can't accommodate would have sufficed but they kept saying oh we will check and try to make it work. The management company dealing with this property did a terrible job and I wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay here based on the experience (wrong apartment information given). Every tile in the older part of the apartment seemed loose and clacked when you walked around the space.

A notre arrivée,on nous a dit que le ménage avait été fait,hors c'était faux. Logement sale,très poussiéreux,des fourmis partout,la plupart attirées par un gros insecte mort sous le lit. Les serviettes et taies d'oreillers pleines de tâches,le chauffe eau dans la salle de bains fuyait à grosses gouttes. Isolation phonique faible,nous entendions les locataires de l'appartement au dessus.

• Julia (8/5): Unterkunft in toller Lage - Die Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr angenehmen Straße mit vielen kleinen Restaurants und unterhalb der Cité. Die Lage gefiel uns sehr gut. Der Checkin war ohne direkten Kontakt mit den Besitzern und dabei absolut unkompliziert. Zu Beginn bekamen wir zudem eine Liste mit tollen Empfehlungen für die Umgebung. Es gab nur einen leicht muffigen Geruch, auf den die Besitzer aufgrund der veralteten Leitungen/Rohre hinwiesen und genaue Angaben machten, wie man damit umgehen kann, sodass es uns für eine Übernachtung nicht gestört hat. Wir würden die Unterkunft erneut buchen.

L'appartement doit être plus insonorisées, nous avons rien dormi entre les occupants de l'appartement du haut et la rue passante c'est compliqué.
• Robyn (9/5): Excellent location in Carcassonne. - This cute little apartment is perfect for a couple. The location is perfect. You can unload your car at the door then park in a free parking area a few hundred meters away. The street is tiny and has many restaurants and a little grocery shop in it. The best thing is the entry to the walled city is an easy 10 minute walk. Definitely recommend. Nothing, it was very good.

Nous avons dû ressortir du logement et attendre 19h pour que le menage soit fait.
• Lourdes (6/5): Local a pie de calle convertido en apartamento, de ubicación perfecta, con varios peros - La ubicación en una calle muy centrica y muy agradable, a un paso de la ciudad medieval y del puente viejo que te lleva al resto de la ciudad. La indicación sobre cuál era el apartamento era confusa, estuvimos intentando entrar en el 76 de la calle Trivalle, pero en realidad este apartamento estaba en una puerta sin numero. Olía a humedad. La puerta tenía la goma suelta y dificiltaba la apertura de la misma. En la cama no había ni sábanas ni colcha ni nada, solo una tela fina que era como una funda sim relleno. Escribí al propietario solicitando manta o colcha o algo para la cama y no recibí respuesta. Por la mañana de madrugada se empezó a instalar un mercadillo en nuestra calle que hicieron bastante ruido y luego obstaculizaban el paso de la puerta. Pero no fue un problema, esto es más una anécdota.

An excellent little apt with glorious AC! - Location was 78 rue trivalle, which was an amazing spot right in the heart of the old town. However, what property we were getting wasn't super clear from the listing. Loved the location, was a sweet little place, plenty of access to food, the medieval city and the new city all by foot. 2 A/C units in the little apartment was amazing and the bathroom/shower was fantastic. Apartment was fully stocked with utensils for cooking, however we only used the bottle opener haha. The little studio apartment was perfect for couples like us, however wouldn't really fit any more people. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and 2 towels for 5 nights was pretty rough and the hosts didn't respond to my email or call. Booking was slightly confusing due to the multiple properties on this listing and we didn't get the apartment we thought we were getting, just one next door. No real windows in the apartment for a view, however we were right on the road so didn't really matter. Also, not a major issue, but my girlfriend is 155cm tall and she could never see herself as all the mirrors were too high with no full length mirror available.

Still only 15ish minutes walk to the main square, maybe 20 to the railway station. Rue Trivalle is a nice street. Never met staff as it was self-check in but regular contact on the day of arrival and then each day thereafter. Pretty bad smell from the pipes, not the owners fault, it's the old town with ancient plumbing, but they do provide stoppers for the sinks and shower.

• Cristian (9/5): Herrlich am Rande der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauern gelegen - Ganz toll zu erwähnen ist die Location. Man ist hier zentral an die Cité gelegen mit kurzem Fussmarsch zur mittelalterlichen Stadt. Die Location ist auch in der Unterstadt angesiedelt mit ganz tollen Beizen. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht und war auch sehr angenehm mit Sofa, Küche, Esstisch, Frigo. Auch die Übergabe der Schlüssel mittel Passwort gieng problemlos vonstatten. Wenn uns der Weg erneut nach Carcassone führen sollte, werden wir fix nochmals diese Location buchen wollen. Vielen herzlichen Dank! Wieder hier eine subjektive Meinung, das weiche Bett. Aber da liegt es mehr an uns! Daher ist die Location trotzdem unbedingt zu empfehlen ohne irgendwelche Negativpunkte.

• Thomas (3/5): - Das einzige ist die fußläufige Lage zur cite. Das ganze ist ein scam. Quasi nichts an der Beschreibung entspricht der Realität. Studio type?? Lächerlich..eher Charme einer Gefängnisszelle. Parkplatz vorhanden?? Frechheit. Wenn man Glück hat, findet man was in der Umgebung. Schallisoliert?? Schlechter Witz. Man hört jeden Schritt aus der Wohnung darüber. Zusätzlich muffelt es ständig aus den Abwasserleitungen, worauf der Vermieter freundlicherweise auf einem Zettel im Zimmer hinweist, nicht aber vorher! Toilette nur mit einer Schiebetür ( die aber nicht wirklich schließt) abgetrennt und ohne Fenster oder sonstige Lüftung. Zusatzlich war das Bettgestell in der Mitte gebrochen, weswegen wir auf den Matratzen auf dem Fußboden schlafen mussten. Uns wurde zwar eine "compensation" zugesagt, aber nichts veranlasst. Derartige Anbieter sollten auf booking.com nicht ihr Unwesen treiben dürfen.

• Ruth (2/5): Te recomiendo buscar otro alojamiento - Lo único que puede ofrecer esta propiedad hoy es la ubicación Excepto la ubicación el resto fue un desastre. Parece haber sido un local a la calle, totalmente vidriado (con persianas plegables plásticas deterioradas). Como está ubicado en una calle con bastante movimiento la aislación acústica es inexistente por lo que se oye todo lo que sucede en la calle a la noche y a la mañana temprano. Persistente y fuerte olor a cloaca, sólo informado una vez que ingresás al apto. La "cama" es un sofá-cama pequeño con un colchón absolutamente hundido que hace difícil el descanso. No volveremos jamás!!!

• Lada (1/5): - The location was very good, close to everything. The room did not match the description or the price. I booked a room with a view of Carcassonne – but there was no view at all. The room didn’t even have a proper window, only one glass door opening directly to the street, so it was impossible to ventilate normally. The bed was saggy and slanted, making it very uncomfortable for two people to sleep. The bathroom was basically part of the room – right next to the bed there was a sink and a shower with glass doors. The toilet was only separated by a sliding partition, which meant there was absolutely no privacy. It is unacceptable for accommodation in this price category not to provide even basic comfort and privacy for hygiene. Overall, a very disappointing experience – I do not recommend it.

• Ariadna (8/5): Situació inmillorable. - La ubicació és immillorable. En menys de 10 minuts arribes caminant a la ciutat medieval, i amb una miqueta més a La Bastida. El carrer on es troba és pràcticament peatonal, amb molts restaurants i cafès, però molt tranquil i amb encant. L'apartament és molt correcte i pràctic. Tot i que vàrem tenir un problema a l'arribada ens ho van solucionar relativament ràpid i bé. Ens van informar i respondre a tots els dubtes súper bé! I ens van deixar recomanacions de restaurants, botigues, a l'apartament hi havia molta informació de la ciutat, activitats. Vàrem poder aparcar el cotxe molt a prop, molt fàcil i gratuïtament i la veritat sense cap sensació d'inseguretat. No és culpa dels propietaris i ells fan per evitar tota la molèstia possible, però sí que es nota a l'apartament bastant la humitat del barri tant antic. Però és quelcom inevitable per la zona on és. Però és totalment tolerable!

В квартире всё оформлено со вкусом, очень эргономично, есть абсолютно всё необходимое - даже небольшой диванчик и кресло:) Удобное получение ключей, хозяин всегда на связи. Честно скажу, что не очень удобный матрац - мы скатывались к центру.

Located in a cute street with lots of restaurants, short walk to the castle and surrounds. The parking was in an area where we had some homeless men with dogs ask us for money. It was all fine but made us uncomfortable especially having young kids with us, wondering if our car was going to be ok. It was all fine and the just responded when we asked if it was ok.

• Rita (8/5): - Il monolocale è situato in una posizione comoda per raggiungere la Cité e gli altri punti di interesse. La struttura è nuova, gradevole e ben equipaggiata. Letto comodissimo. L’host è stato preciso e puntuale nelle indicazioni per il check-in, che si svolge in autonomia, e ha comunicato disponibilità per qualsiasi evenienza, lasciando anche un contatto telefonico. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono. Il monolocale ha come unica apertura la porta di accesso e, nonostante l’impianto di ventilazione, permane uno sgradevole odore. Il bagno è angusto e diviso dal locale principale da un pannello scorrevole poco stabile e isolante, soprattutto perché collocato di fronte al letto. Il Wi-Fi ha funzionato solo per un giorno.

• Ken (9/5): - Location to the medieval city. Easy to walk into the city as well. Good facilities. The shower size is small, so large framed people have trouble in it.
• Donna (7/5): Couple travelling through France. - Location is fabulous, right in the heart of a closed off street full eateries, bars, shops and at the foot of the Cité. Simple accommodation offering all you need.

Les informations d’accès auraient pu être transmises légèrement plus en amont pour moins de stress lors de l’arrivée.

• SEAN (10/5): Excellent location. Bright new and clean studio right at the base of le Cite Best place to stay - Th location was amazing. A short walk to the Cite in a street of amazing restaurants. Really convenient. Bright, clean and new. Such good value The water pressure in shower was very weak. Understandable for an old place

• Neilbabytiger (10/5): Great place to stay. - Right next to the old town, wonderful views, modern, good air-conditioning, welcoming owners who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Would strongly recommend. Nothing.
• Heather (8/5): - A really spacious house (we were a family of 6) in an amazing location. Just a few minutes walk from the medieval city, the bridge to the Bastide, the river bank paths and the bus stop to get to the lake. The house was well equipped, with a nice living and dining area. There were great views from the windows and the terrace when standing up, but unfortunately you couldn't see over the terrace barrier when sitting down. It was a fun place to stay with original features. The kids liked the spiral staircases and wooden shutters.

• Dau (10/5): A Perfect Stay with an Unforgettable View - This home is full of charm, history, and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt a special atmosphere—like stepping into a place with a soul. The decor is thoughtful and elegant, and the house is spotless, making it both beautiful and welcoming. The highlight is the terrace, offering a breathtaking view of the medieval Cité of Carcassonne. With a lovely lilac tree providing shade and the sound of birds in the morning, it’s the perfect spot to relax. The thick stone walls also keep the house cool, even in the summer heat. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the Cité and right in the heart of the lively Trivalle district, surrounded by great restaurants, bakeries, and shops. Parking was easy to find thanks to the host’s clear instructions. This was truly a home away from home, and we can't wait to come back!
