- nina spowart (8/5): - We booked this property for a rest stop to break our journey up. Great cosy flat which had everything we needed for one night. Comfy bed and nice bedding. Host was fantastic with the communication prior too and during the stay.
Indian takeaway just on the doorstep or pizza takeaway over the road. Biggish Spar round the corner too for any supplies. Met the housekeeper on departure who was so lovely and asked us if there was anything that could have been done to make our stay better or improve the flat which was nice. Only that we couldn't park outside the flat but that's just timing.
- barbara (7/5): Amazing flat - Flat its self was wonderful. Clean, cosy. Good central point OK little difficult to find but that just a slight inconvenience when you first get there. .
Issue had which ruined things a little was that once you came through alley it opens up into an area that can really put you off outside let's whole building down.it looked dirty and unkept .you actually have to stop and really look around before you actually see where you need to go to get key and door you need to go in..
Bin area very exposed with bins overflowing. Yard of property next door very unkept which makes whole area look bad.
As woman arriving on her own this area could have been very intimidating, even maybe for male arriving alone.i arrived when it was light so unsure if area lit on a night.
I understand that there is limited space in entrance so is difficult on where things can go but maybe even just keeping white wall nice and clean
These are just my own thoughts and would not stop me saying how amazing the boarders retreat is.
- Neil (9/5): A good stop of on the road going to the the north or south - A lovely top floor flat in the centre of town, clean and lovely decor and furnishings Everything was good . Though I struggled with the power switch for the shower and had to skip that.
- Aileen (7/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Great location for a stop over. Lovely and warm. Good communication. Some issues with the water system but was able to work around it. Didn't contact owners as able to find a solution

- kirsty8917 (10/5): Home from home apartment with everything you need. - I loved the cosy feeling of home comforts , and how spacious the apartment felt , can't wait to book again , I also recommend the pub across road Graham's arm staff and locals are so welcoming 😄 Not a thing I can fault
- Hazel (10/5): Lovely accommodation and would 100% stay here again - It was cosy, warm and clean.
Location was perfect, we meet up with family in Gretna for shopping and lunch.
There was a lovely little cafe round the corner where we had something to eat and had breakfast the next day.
We would definitely stay here again Only 1 thing. The karaoke in the pub across the road was LOUD. Thought we were having a disco in the apartment we didn’t know about.
We were absolutely soaked through with the rain and didn’t have clean clothes other than our travelling home ones for the next day or we would’ve went and joined the pub. But as we couldn’t we just chilled but hearing the tv was difficult over the music
