- Sharon (1/5): Do NOT book this hotel!! - I waited 2 hours for someone to show up to give me a key to the room. When I called booking.com customer service they repeatedly called the owner to no avail checked last at 7 pm still no key or person to get me in my paid room. It wasn't just me, there was another customer the same as me waiting outside to get a key for his room. Both of us had to get a room somewhere else. We also talked to people already staying in this hotel and they said they never seen any employees around. I am still waiting 3 weeks later for the refund I was told by booking, i would get, haven't seen it!! Everything

- Jermaine (1/5): Never stayed - It looked nice I wasn’t able to stay in the room that I prepaid for and I waited over 2 hours to get confirmation that this property will not be accommodating me. Booking.com stated that they couldn’t get in contact with them and they didn’t reach back out to their messages.

No sheets on the bunkbeds and then when I went to make it there was only enough for one bed and Noone would answer to get more. I wrote a review the night I checked in because I was so upset and couldn't get a response from anyone. Then after I did get help the next day I was asked to change my review. My room was on the main road. Very noisy and the only gathering place is outside my room. So everyone was out there early in the morning and having their coffee and smoking. Ugh

The person that helped us was in the skimpiest bathingsuit without a cover up! When we finally got in it was 4:40. There was No office! It was in a towel room?? Sooo glad we didn't pay more than we did. But, they say you get what you pay.

There’s boulevard where you can walk , run or take your baby in the stroller . It’s only a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of grocery stores, shops, bars , and restaurants nearby. The pool was also very clean and well maintained. The only downside was the cleanliness of the floors—they were extremely dirty. I also found trash under the bed, including paper and plastic cups. Other than nice place with a friendly staff

- Jill (1/5): No personnel on site, so we could not check in. - Beach access No one was on site to check us in. We got there at time (4-5pm) we said we would, but office was closed. Came back an hour later, still closed so scanned barcode from note on the door and sent a text. We waited but no response. Texted again. Around 8 pm, called booking.com and she said she’d email them and if I didn’t hear from them within 45 minutes I could get a refund. We’d already spent hours waiting and we were out of patience, so we headed back home without ever setting foot in the hotel room. I will never try to stay at this motel again.

Our door would not look from the outside , contacted the resort through text and phone was told they would fix and never did.

Room was not cleaned before our arrival. Mattress had been peed on and a fuzzy blanket was used to cover it, trash in the bathroom and hair on the shower walls. No parking, no staff working at the facility, locked out of room upon arrival and had to wait outside for 45 minutes trying to get someone to come let us in. Door kicked in by a man with the lady running the motel on our last night there, stating they didn’t know we were there and then looked up my name and realized I was supposed to be there just not in that room (even though that’s where I was told to go and given all of the information).

- Nicole (5/5): - The most comfortable bed outside my own that I have ever slept in. Amazing pillows that were plump and soft sheets. Good location to other businesses Not beachfront Beach ACCESS. Huge difference when you are carrying tons of gear and a baby. This is the main reason I would not stay again, you cant just open the door and fall onto the beach, you do have a bit of walk. Floors were dirty. On side of bed on floor was dental floss picks used and cigarette pack wrappers. All around toilet area had dirt and garbage from other guests. Late checkin time (4pm and early check out 10 am) Only permitted 2 towels during your stay and 2 rolls of toilet paper. Limited supplies not mentioned until AFTER booking. No commonly supplied hotel items, the most inconvenient for us was no beach towels, no ice machine, coffee for one night but no cream or sugar. No hand soap in bathroom, hairdryer or shampoo. So basically we arrived exhausted and had to make a trip to the store for these items. Parking situation is dangerous. Very limited parking 9 spots, and you have to back up into main road as there is no real parking lot.

- Heather (6/5): - We really liked the outdoor seating areas. The pool was nice and the location was great. The bed and linens were comfy. Our room was the office that they turned into a room. It was actually a little confusing to find our room because it was the only door that didn’t look like all the other cute pink doors. We did not like that there was so many glass doors and windows that looked right into the parking lot, road, and entrance to the motel. With the room facing the road, it was quite loud at night. We did not like the bunk beds, the bottom mattress was pretty much on the floor and the top bunk rail was not high enough above the mattress for me to feel comfortable putting one of my kids there to sleep. The bathroom was very tiny. The floors were not very clean, I know it is the beach but under the furniture and corners were gross. I think we would have been more satisfied if it was one of the regular motel rooms and not this odd office turned into a room.

- Mraz (8/5): It was an enjoyable stay. The convenience of the pool and beach were great. - There is no breakfast offered at Arvilla. However there is a small updated kitchenette that includes a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink and two burner stove. So, making a small breakfast is really easy and convenient so you can head out to the pool or the beach quickly. The room had a small table and chairs for two. There is a full grocery store about 4 blocks away. The chairs around the pool were very new and the pool was cleaned every day. The entire room was recently remodeled as the three short dressers were very new and the room had evidently been painted recently and had accents of seashells in a few places. The bathroom had a new sink, vanity, mirror and light over the mirror and the shower had a new curtain and a dispenser for shampoo, body soap and conditioner. All of the faucets in the sink and the bathtub were updated although the sink faucet was a little rusty. Although the bed and the mattress must had been updated within the last year due to the hurricane that came through in 2024, the mattress on both sides became an uncomfortable valley that felt like it was very worn. I think perhaps the mattress was inexpensive and was already wearing out after less than a year. Evidently the bathroom must have needed some plastering work when the entire room was updated and the walls showed where plastering had been done but not sanded and just painted over (there were a few spots where the wall had not been painted) ... even the shower rod was partially painted over and although the wall tile was probably from the early 1960s (dated), all of the grout was still in place and very clean.

- Michele (8/5): Great week for us - Beds were comfortable. It worked great for us. Everything is updated except bathrooms. Pool was great and great location. No laundry. Was there nine days and no extra towels or clean towels. Would been great to have fresh towels at least every other day or two. No staff on site except cleaning lady that was there maybe an hour or so everyday to clean rooms that checked out. She was super nice. No brooms or mops or anything to sweep or clean up. Trash was always full because had two small trash bins for everyone to put their trash in.

It comes with a kitchen and sitting area. The coffee maker was supplied with coffee for one night. but no cream or sweetener. A selection of coffee/tea would have been nice. It would also have been nice to provide guests with beach chairs.

- John (8/5): We thought the room was comfortable and clean. we liked the frig , everything was in good shape. - Loved being on beach Since no one on site, we were concerned about our room door being left unlocked to let us in after 6pm (but everything worked out fine).
- Megan (1/5): - This was hands down the worst experience we’ve ever had at a “resort” Let me start with there is no office or manager on the property. Thankfully, we ran into the maintenance guy who was able to let us in our room. The first night our tub backed up with sewage water, filling the entire room with a horrible sulfur/rotten egg smell that never went away. It was completely unsanitary and made it impossible to stay comfortably. So the maintenance guy was able to move us to a new room, which turned out to be worse. we could tell right away that the room hadn’t been cleaned. There was blood on the sheets food in the fridge and a lingering odor. I’m going to assume was from the leftover food in the trash that was not taken out. To make matters worse, management was extremely unprofessional. The woman, Angie in charge repeatedly promised us a refund, even swore to it—but weeks later, we still haven’t received a dime. Every time we followed up, we were either ignored or given more excuses. Oh, and I almost forgot so let me add how the TV in our room did not work. Our dresser was broke and the Wi-Fi also did not work. The entire property was poorly maintained, the facilities were disgusting, and the customer service was non-existent. This place is a health hazard and a total scam. Avoid Arvilla Resort at all costs.

- Dianice (7/5): Great experience, enjoyed the stay and the room has great potential with a few adjustments - The location was great and the ability to walk to the beach was great. The room was super clean and the TVs were much appreciated. The kitchen is too small no counter space or a table to put things on during stay or while cooking. The beds were not so great, the corners were caving in making us feel like we were gonna wake up on the floor. We also had trouble with limited parking as some other guests had more than 1 car parked on the property with no passes.
- Kai (1/5): Arvilla very dirty to the point we had to get moved - The location and the person we talked to was very good It was extremely dirty including the beds and pillows we ended up getting moved to a different location and there wasn’t enough parking for everyone at the hotel

- Stacey (10/5): I've never seen my kids so happy. It was an absolute blast! - Right on the beach with the cutest setup. We had the suite and it was like an apartment with a beach vibe right by the pool. I wish I could bring the beds back with us. They were so comfortable. Angie at the desk was the most helpful person I've ever met. We will be back for sure. I wouldn't of changed a thing!

- Samantha (9/5): It was comfortable and fun! - It was charming, updated, and clean. The pool was nice after a day at the beach. Adirondack chairs outside each room were a nice touch, and met some of the other guests while sitting and relaxing in them. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was so comfortable I had to reach out and ask what brand mattress they had. Having to check-in at a different location down the street.

- Jackie (5/5): - It was clean. The staff misunderstood when I asked if the pool was heated and it was not. I also asked if it was beach front. It was on the side of the road of the beach but was quite a walk from the beach, you could t even hear the beach from the hotel pool. Also they were treating up the beach in front of the hotel so you had to maneuver around a bunch of big equipment.

- Barbara (8/5): Merry Christmas at Arvilla! - Retro vibe! So cute! Location. They have done a great job re-habing this mid-century motel by the gulf. All supply were just a text away and promptly received . Pool was sparkling, comfy furniture on lanai. Great stay. Stove was hard to figure out at first.
- Sherry (5/5): - Room was cute layout A/C wasn’t working and floor was dirty turning my fleet black along with ceiling fine needed cleaning that was located above the bed I was sleep in. The TV was mounted to a wall to the side of the bed and you had no access to watch it while lying in bed.

- julia (9/5): Everything was very pleasant specially the beach a few steps away - The view is great ,the kitchen is very well equipped everything was very clean and in its place, if I were to book again i would definitely ask for room #112 Thanks you I didn’t find a toaster and I couldn’t use the stove because I tried to turns it on but I couldn’t get it to work

- Melba (10/5): Beautiful place on Treasure Island! - Wonderful & Beautiful place to stay on Treasure Island! It was clean and had a small kitchen area with a Kurig coffee maker, fridge, microwave, stove (which we did not use), and a variety of dishes/cups/pans/bowls.Wish they had an ice machine on site, but there is a Circle K within walking distance. They also have a very nice pool and best of all, right on the beach!! The absolute only downfall are the family rooms on the second floor. They have bunk beds and you could hear kids climbing and jumping off of them. We swore they were moving furniture and everything they were doing up there was extremely LOUD!! Including beach the music. This went on until 1:00 in the morning. Thank goodness all of this happened on our last night staying there.
