• Paolo (7/5): - Position is great to explore the city. Staff is nice and the room are clean. Our room had only a window on the internal corridor. I asked for a change (they have standard room for the same price with windows) but they told me the other rooms were already booked. Not recommended to claustrophobic people..
• Fatema (9/5): Showers are great! - 1-shower: hot & water pressure was amazing 🤩 2-Location 3- Decent conditions for long stay & reasonable price (which gives it high score compared to other places in the same area that would charge more for less convenience) 4- Staff super helpful & friendly Minor yet uncontrollable convenient: 1- internet @ first till contacting reception 2- one socket didn’t work 3- little light in the room (kept door open) 4- sewage smell in the area (not too intense) & sometime comes from the bath room

• Janina (8/5): Perfekte Lage - Die Lage war perfekt für Chiang Mai. Ruhige Nebenstraße aber dennoch alles in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet. Und die Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Leider war das WLAN richtig schlecht. Das hat wirklich genervt.

• marcella67 (8/5): Mooie locatie - Zeer goede en lieve mensen in de service. Goede locatie. Complete kamer met ja hoor, een zacht bed voor Thaise begrippen. Gratis thee de hele dag door. Goede afspraken over verschonen van handdoeken en van kamer. Scooterverhuur is prima. cigarettenrook trok onder de deur van kamer 202 door, als mensen op 'balkon' zaten te roken. Best gehorig.

• Dimitrios (10/5): Amazing hotel in the Old City! - We cannot recommend Lanna Haven Hotel enough. We found we could walk anywhere within the Old City from the hotel and we particularly enjoyed the night market full of food stalls right around the corner (it was open every evening and it had loads of food options until about midnight). The hotel was quiet and our sleep wasn’t disturbed at all. Above all, the staff and owner were extremely kind and hospitable. We forgot our wallet in a taxi and only realised the morning after. To our positive surprise they drove us over 10km away to the taxi driver’s house to pick up our wallet without asking for anything in return. Honestly, this hotel was the highlight of our stay in Thailand so far (even though we’ve previously stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels in other cities). The staff made our trip to Chiang Mai an unforgettable experience!

• Matthew (9/5): Prime location with clean room and heated bidet for your bum! - THE BIDET HAD WARM WATER! I have been staying all around Thailand for the past 2 months and this was the absolute best bathroom I have ever experienced. The shower pressure is perfect and the warm water bidet was absolutely game changer. I’m writing this review from my current stay at a “wellness resort/spa” and this room doesn’t even have a heated bidet. Reception is weird, their kids walking around( although very cute) just felt unprofessional and had some other business in the reception which was confusing. The lady was very nice but the man spoke no English and didn’t seem like he cared at all to learn.

• Gorham (10/5): Exceptional - The owner and staff are friendly, making it feel like you're staying in a family home. The rooms are clean and modern, with new bathrooms. No pool, no spa or any of that other stuff, but that's ok because the location is so good. Free wifi, but I found it easier to use my phone's data. I'm hesitant to recommend it too highly, not because of any shortcomings, but because I want to ensure there are still rooms available for me on my next visit to Chiang Mai. I have nothing negative to say.
• Do0ri (9/5): Excellent Stay in the Old City - Super conveniently located near the southern Chiang Mai Gate, most areas of interest were w/i a 30-minute walking distance and CNX was a short 10-minute Grab ride. Appreciated the clean room and truly enjoyed sleeping in the comfy bed. I really liked this accommodation so much that, when I decided to extend my Chiang Mai stay, I checked here first to see if there was availability and, thankfully, they did! The only gripe I had was the lack of a table or countertop to place your items. Since I was a solo traveler, there was an extra bed in the room where I placed all my items. Otherwise, I think placing a small table w/ a chair in the single/double room would be very helpful.

• Miroslava (7/5): Excellent location in the old town - Great location next to my favourite spots in the city, smiling staff, very comfy bed, nice bathroo. No natural light - the bedroom window looks out onto a a corridor and I could hear everything going on there. Staff (except for one lady who was nit present most of the time) spoken very little English which made a bit complex when trying to book a taxi

• Ludovic (6/5): Backup solution for accommodation - Very good location, in city center, close to Chiang Mai southern Gate. Very fair price. Good hotel design First time in my life a hotel demanded us (not kindly asked) to change rooms after 2 nights (we book 5 nights). Reason they shared was to accommodate another older guest arriving, and our first room was on ground floor, more accessible. Either the guest didn't share his mobility issues at booking (but would you really forget to mention that your room has to be on ground floor to a hotel you book ??), either the hotel just wanted to maximize their occupancy, or they knew about the request and didn't factor it in their room arrangements until last minute, which is more likely. We asked for a discount, for changing room, which they refused. Other issue : the night person doesn't speak 1 word of English. Has to call someone and u have to talk in English to that person, who explains to the night person what's your request, and all exchanges like that at night. Day staff are English speakers though. Minor inconvenience : electric plug on 1 side, not both sides of the bed Minor inconvenience : you have to air a little the room if you take a hot shower, the air exhaust fan isn't good enough on its own Overall given the extraordinary hotel / accommodation opportunities in Chiang Mai (by far not my first visit, I had lived there for a couple of years and come back from time to time), this hotel is ok as backup if no other accommodation in your price range (at Songkran period, or Loi Kratong period when all hotels are quickly fully booked... which was our case here during Loi Kratong).

• Yueh (7/5): Good - The hotel is clean and new, very good location, close to the Chiangmai market, convenience stores and lots of street vendors. The air conditioner makes sounds once in a while, I was shocked several times. The address information from Booking.com is wrong, I eventually found the hotel by searching Lanna Haven Hotel on Google maps.
