- Louise (9/5): - The apartment is absolutely gorgeous. In a very quiet, gated community. There is a lovely pool (20m by 10m) that's shared with members of the gated community. The apartment is extremely well- equipped- a home from home. Loved the nespresso machine (with pods) and the milk frother. The apartment is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Great to have a separate toilet too. Everything is there that you need, with very nice soaps, shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn't usually mention this but each one smelled nicer than the next. The final thing, and our favourite, was the balcony with idyllic views over Lake Maggiore. Breathtaking and so calming. We had a brilliant week there - including a couple of trips to a lido in Switzerland. The only thing I would say is that, unless you like walking up and down a steep hill, you would need a car. We hired one and visited lots of lovely places.
