- Larissa (1/5): Very poor and expensive accommodation. Not recommended unfortunately. - Kind staff and clean room despite being a very old room. Tickets provided for public bath facilities as there is no shower on site. An old dingy tiny room in a dreary suburban apartment block which was depressing after a big day traveling.Very hard to find as no signage to indicate where it is. Walls paper thin and very noisy. A person next door with a productive cough - not what you want to hear on holiday! Low ceiling beams which my husband hit his head on several times. Tatami mats on floor.To be fair, I did know this but thought the mats may have been more comfortable. No shower ( my fault for not checking the facilities). Unfortunately, I booked 4 nights and we left after one as it was not for us. A VERY costly mistake as this was hugely expensive. Luckily moved to a wonderful hotel that was alot cheaper and in the heart of Kyoto with all the modern conveniences.
- Boukhatem (10/5): Exceptional - Great and spacious room. Very cheap during the week end compare to other places in Kyoto. The owners are very kind and are there to help with anything. We had a great stay !
