• Susie (10/5): We loved every minute of staying at Yuki’s place and will definitely book again. - Yuki’s place is spacious,comfortable and immaculately clean. It’s nestled in a quiet neighbourhood with supermarkets, restaurants and convenience stores all within walking distance. Everything in the house is thoroughly prepared for guests. Futons are very comfortable. Host Yuki responses to messages very quickly. The only down side for us is that there is no cooking facilities are available other than a small oven and microwave. The pillows are also too thin and soft.
• Tricia (10/5): - This home was immaculate! You can tell that the owners have an immense level of pride in their space. Communication with Yuki was clear, prompt and polite. The location was great with access to a Fresco, Watts, Convenience Stores and restaurants just a short stroll away. This was our base from which to see much of Kyoto by foot, I highly recommend for a traditional Japanese home experience. Be mindful if you have a sensitive back or hips as a shikibuton on tatami takes a bit of adjusting to get used to. My daughter had terrible hip pain after night 1, not recommended for side sleepers. This is no fault of the accommodation but something to be aware of.

• Tiffaney (8/5): - Very close to bus line and 10 mins walk to the nearest train station. Very traditional Japanese style home which we enjoyed. Futons were very comfy. Yuki was very responsive and offered great recommendations. Tea room had a tv so we could all sit and watch together. All the beds are upstairs and bathroom on the first floor. The stairs were very steep and narrow, so we left our luggage downstairs. Was extremely hot upon arrival but it cooled down quickly. Could use a few more kitchen essentials.

• Christy (10/5): Beautiful, remote, warm stay with Yuki! - Loved the the traditional set up! I was also happily surprised that there was a TV with Netflix! (fireTV Stick I think). We only stayed for 1 night, but Yuki was super accommodating and made our experience very welcoming and comfortable! She was quite incredible in her communication as well! Let me be clear — This is less so something I “didn’t like” and more so something I would want people to know: FOLLOW THE VIDEO YUKI PROVIDES to access the property! My partner and I struggled using Apple Maps, and the process was much smoother once we referred to the video!!
