Schon beim Check-in wurde ich freundlich empfangen, und das Personal war während meines gesamten Aufenthalts stets hilfsbereit und professionell. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und komfortabel. Besonders gefallen hat mir das bequeme Bett und die ruhige Atmosphäre, die für erholsame Nächte gesorgt hat. Auch die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und von hoher Qualität – es gab sowohl warme als auch kalte Speisen, alles frisch und liebevoll angerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls ideal, da viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants gut erreichbar sind. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Le choix de plusieurs types de petit-déjeuner continental, américain, balinais, végétarien, healthy, … On ne peut pas dire « pas aimé » mais normal sans plus, le restaurant de l’hôtel est juste bien avec une vue géniale sur la forêt. Une remarque importante pour les personnes âgées ou ayant des problèmes pour marcher, il y a beaucoup d’escalier…..

This is a perfect spot to enjoy nature and rest, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy towns, surrounded by the serene sounds of the jungle. There was a good choice of breakfast and the food was homelike and delicious, The service was impecable starting from the warm welcome provided by Yanti, genuine care by Darma, to the friendly and obliging help provided by Adi. Communication was very easy and every request was promptly fulfilled. Thank you everyone!

Calm, peaceful surroundings, you wake up to the sounds of nature and jungle view, the bungalows are built in a way that gives you a complete privacy. Great and attentive staff. Hot water whenever you need, the bathtub really is as good at it looks in the pictures. There is a restaurant with a nice view but you can also order to your room. We had spa treatments every day and felt super pampered after them. It is a bit further from the busy Ubud area, but close enough if you want to visit and laid back enough to completely switch the brain off, kick back and relax. Many things to see in the surrounding area and the locals are super nice. They will organise scooter for you or transport or any activity you wish to do.

• Sheena (10/5): A divine and tranquil stay in Ubud. I absolutely loved my stay and was such a highlight! - Harsa Sanctuary is serene and tranquil. I absolutely loved my stay - Made, Ayu and the team are exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, and waking up to the Ubud Valley view was perfect. The special touches were such a treat when arriving in the room, such as the fruit bowl, flowers and bath salts. This location is about 30-40 minutes out of the Ubud Centre. I soon learned that Gojeks and Grabs weren't accessible in the location, although the team organised private drivers for my trips around Ubud and to the airport. I highly recommend Harsa Sanctuary to organise your driver, they were super lovely and made my trip extra special by teaching me about traditional Balinese culture, traditions and stories during the drives. Breakfast was also great, and the spa was very calming. I loved this place so much, I extended my stay. I will definitely be back!

• Janka (9/5): A peaceful retreat in North Ubud - Beautiful new houses set on the edge of a valley, with an amazing view from our terrace. You can enjoy full privacy. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. We honestly could have stayed here for the entire holiday. If you’re the type who just wants to relax and enjoy nature, this is the perfect spot. We visited in January and spent one rainy day enjoying the sauna and a massage, which was very relaxing while the rain was pouring outside. We rented a scooter and explored the area on our own. North Ubud is fantastic and this place truly feels like a hidden gem. I hope we can return one day. Nothing, really. Just a small note: the entrance slope can become slippery during the rainy season, especially after showers.

• Nikolay (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - ❤️LOOK NO FURTHER.❤️ This was my third visit to Bali, and I’ve stayed in over 10 different villas. Nothing beats Harsa Sanctuary — 10⭐️. To start with, we were welcomed with complimentary drinks — not just regular tea or coffee, but their signature healthy drink made from fruits and herbs. The staff are the kindest people you’ll ever meet. I especially appreciated the gorgeous uniforms they wear — something worth mentioning. Of course, they helped us with our luggage and were available 24/7 whenever assistance was needed. The location is a true escape. During our stay in the CENDRAWASIH room, we heard absolutely no noise from other guests, yet enjoyed panoramic views of the jungle straight from our bed and bathtub. Near the sanctuary you will be just 4 minutes away from a supermarket, 8 minutes to the closest waterfall, 14 minutes away from Pura Tirta Empul - a sacred temple where visitors can take part in a traditional purification ritual. Tourists are welcome to make a small offering, say a prayer, and enter the holy pools to cleanse themselves under the water spouts. The property offers excellent on-site amenities, from a restaurant and spa to a sauna and swimming pool, along with an extensive menu of massages and other services for ultimate relaxation. All room amenities are top quality, with a perfect balance between a Bali-style villa atmosphere and modern, brand-new bathroom fixtures, plus a powerful air conditioner. It’s not typical for villas to have a microwave, but they were happy to reheat food for us — even when it wasn’t from their restaurant — and even offered us access to their kitchen 🤯 The little things matter. Taxi driver/Gojek not always kind enough to drop off the customers down to the reception which made us walk down for a bit in steep cliff with our heavy luggage.
• Luca Hirschi (10/5): Bezaubernd - Die Unterkunft ist fantastisch gelegen, wir haben uns bereits beim Empfang wohl gefühlt und uns wurde so gut es ging alle Wünsche und Anliegen so gut es ging erfüllt. Das Badezimmer ist Traumhaft schön mit dieser Aussicht und natürlich auch morgens wenn man erwacht ein fantastisches Panorama. Essen wurde auf Wunsch immer ins Zimmer serviert. Und mann konnte Abends YouTube oder Netflix schauen. Wir konnten keine negativen Argumente während unserem Aufenzhalts finden, im gegenteil.

• Ann (10/5): A serene getaway in a beautifully designed villa nestled in the middle of nature - The location is perfectly serene, beautiful details in the design, excellent hospitality from the team. The view from the room was breathtaking. Loved the breakfast as well! Restaurant is convenient and food was delicious. We wanted to experience the serenity of Bali’s village life so we chose to stay here instead of Ubud centre. It wasn’t hard to get around at all - we used both Grab, local taxi and private drivers. Many thanks to Ayu and Adi and all staff for greeting us with a smile. The spa next door is also perfect. It is definitely a spa experience, with an adjoining bath and shower. Also opens up to the nature beyond. Nothing!

• MIRIAM (10/5): Un refugio en plena selva - This place is a shelter! I really enjoyed the stay! Such stunning view from balcony, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The bedroom was calm, clean, comfy bed and the staff is extraordinary kind, warm amd attentive. The restaurant is precious and you can even see fireflies at night. Breakfast is fresh and you can choose from a great variety. It definetely exceeded expectations! I will recommend this hotel to all my friends/family visiting Bali.Thank you for a one of a kind experience! 🥰

The room is nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony - we especially enjoyed having out breakfast here. The staff is amazingly kind and super helpful. We also had a massage in their spa which was perfect. The breakfast was very good and abundant. It is a bit outside from Ubud, but exactly because of that it’s a peaceful oasis. We loved everything. The only thing would be that the portions in the restaurant (when ordering a la carte) could be a bit bigger :)

From the warm welcome at reception to the help with our luggage, everything made us feel at home straight away. Our room was spacious and stylish, with a very comfortable bed and lots of storage. The bathroom had both a walk-in shower and a large bathtub with an incredible view. The balcony was big too, and watching the birds, wildlife, and even fireflies in the evening felt magical, like living inside a nature movie. The hammock made it even better. Breakfast was served in our room almost daily and was always delicious, with very fresh ingredients. We also had dinner at the restaurant, which we really enjoyed. Portions were perfectly balanced. The staff were truly outstanding. From the kitchen team to the massage therapists and even the gardener, everyone went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. It’s easy to get a taxi from here to explore Ubud or other parts of the island, and the hotel also offers a driver service. Just be sure to book it in advance. This place combines comfort, beauty, and the kindest hospitality. We can’t recommend it enough!

• Ruxandra-Ioana (10/5): A magical accommodation with jungle view, tucked away from the chaos and noise of cars and scooters - Such a unique and spectacular place, with a terrace overlooking the jungle. Tucked away in a quiet area (10 min by car from Tegallalang Rice Terrace), far from the noise and hustle of Ubud City Center, yet still close enough to easily reach the center of Ubud with Grab or a private driver (about a 45-minute drive, depending on traffic). Also perfect for day trips around Bali (northern waterfalls, Kintamani/Mt. Batur, the east side of Bali, etc.). All you can hear is the sound of the jungle around you – pure magic. And despite being in the middle of nature, we had no issues with insects, lizards or any other animals. The whole property was extremely well maintained, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything was sparkling clean and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom was spotless too, well equipped, and had a beautiful view. Very intimate as well – only 5 cottages (independent villas) in total and none of the others overlook your balcony, so you have complete privacy. Big shoutout to the staff — they were incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything. There were plenty of options for breakfast – from traditional Indonesian breakfast to European and vegetarian choices. What we loved the most was the flexibility: we could choose to have breakfast at the restaurant, on our own terrace, or even served in the pool (for an extra fee). The pool is on the smaller side and the water felt a bit chilly (though we did go in around 7–8 AM). But honestly, this place is so special because of the jungle vibe and lush vegetation – and if you’re looking for a full pool day, there are plenty of pool clubs in the area just for that. Other facilities include a SPA center (which we didn’t get to try) and laundry service. The only downside: There’s a pretty steep slope between the main road and the cottages. Cars struggle to get down the slope. We chose to walk up and down to the main road ourselves (except at check-in and check-out when we had luggage), but I would not recommend it for people with mobility issues

Prenne le temps de répondre à vos questions quelque soit le sujet. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié discuter avec eux des religions et de la culture balinaise. La chambre est propre, la vue est incroyable. La salle de bain est grande. Le restaurant est incroyablement bon, que ce soit pour les petits déjeuners ou les autres repas. Les prix sont vraiment correct pour un hotel de ce type. Possibilité de prendre le petit-déjeuner et le dîner dans la chambre. A seulement 25min d'Ubud en scooter, nous avons apprécié la localité qui nous a permis d'être au calme. Si vous souhaitez être traité comme un roi, c'est cet hôtel qu'il vous faut. Partir !

Notre terrasse était parfaite avec le petit espace hamac dans la jungle. Nous avons très bien mangé, le personnel est adorable, d'une parfaite réactivité et les massages étaient divins. C'est le seul logement à Bali que nous avons quitté le coeur lourd car nous aurions aimé y rester beaucoup plus longtemps. RIEN, tout est parfait !

The villas are brand new, beautifully designed, and feel like a luxurious escape into nature. Everything is high quality—from the hot water and comfortable beds to the hand-carved furniture that adds a truly Balinese touch. My favourite part was relaxing on the hammock on the balcony, overlooking the forest and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The staff here are amazing. Ketut was always quick to respond via WhatsApp whenever I needed anything, and Nengah truly made my stay special. He’s warm, friendly, and always happy to chat—he gave me so much insight into Balinese culture and great recommendations for things to do in Ubud. I felt so welcome and looked after. If you’re looking for a quiet, beautiful place to unwind while still being close to the heart of Ubud, I can’t recommend Harsa Sanctuary enough.

• Amy (8/5): Remote, peaceful retreat - There are only 5 villas so it feels very exclusive and it has only been open a few months so it still has so much potential. beautiful jungle view and steps are being built down to a river that you can hear through the jungle. lovely pool but only 2 sunbeds was grateful for the mosquito nets around the bed! as there are some large bugs around if you do not keep your balcony doors shut. The sounds of the frogs at night are funny and the view of the stars are amazing. Food and drinks were nice, we often had breakfast on our balcony Staff are very friendly and accommodating Because there are only 5 villas, it does lack any atmosphere in the restaurant as it was usually only me and my partner eating there and food was ordered via whatsapp. The bathroom lights were very dim in the evening. No where to hang duvet on the balcony when it rained Gojek drivers hesitant to go down the steep slope to the property but the owner is creating a better and easier access for exiting, we had a private driver arranged via the property who was brilliant. This property is a 20-25 min drive from UBUD center

• Vitalii (10/5): Excellent place with a jungle view - Very refreshing and peaceful place. The villa is absolutely new and very cool equipped. Inside there is everything you need to feel comfortable. I really liked the terrace with a sofa and a gorgeous view of the jungle. And also the bathroom with a bathtub with a panoramic window, really luxurious. The complex has a large territory with private parking, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a spa and a steam room. There is a river below and it is possible to go down there using the stairs. The staff is very friendly and ready to help at any time of the day. I really enjoyed the time I spent there.
