• mohammad (6/5): - نعم استمتعت بالاقامة مسئولين الامن في داخل المكان عند الشاليهات كانوا اثنين - اشخاص محترمين جدا ومتعاونين جدا جدا جدا. الف شكر ليهم. صعوبة في التواصل مع المسئول عن الحجز لاستلام الشالية وتم التواصل معه عن طريق مسئول الامن وكان متعاون جدا. لم يتم وضع اسمي على البوابة للدخول. مسئول الحجز لم يقل كيفية الوصول للشاطئ واستخدام الكارت حيث تم اكتشاف ذلك بنفسي. مافيش تنظيف للمكان - مافيش حد بيجمع الزبالة - مش عارفين نودي الزبالة فين. قفل باب الحمام بيعلق ودي مشكلة.

• Michel (1/5): Please avoid - DO NOT spend 1 L.E - Nothing This was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. The apartment at Porto Marina was in shocking condition, and it’s crystal clear that the owner has not spent a single pound to make it livable, let alone comfortable for guests. • Furniture: Old, broken, and mismatched—like leftovers from a junkyard. Nothing was functional or comfortable. • Cleanliness: Non-existent. Dust, stains, and dirt everywhere. It felt like no one had cleaned it properly in years. • Facilities: Appliances either didn’t work or were missing entirely. Even the basics you’d expect in a holiday apartment were absent. • Maintenance: Walls peeling, taps leaking, and lights flickering. The whole place felt neglected and depressing. • Value for money: A complete scam. What you see in photos is NOT what you get. The owner clearly doesn’t care at all about the guest experience and is only interested in taking your money. It was embarrassing to bring my family here. Porto Marina itself is a beautiful location, but this apartment ruined the entire holiday. Avoid at all costs – you’ll thank yourself later

• Ahmed (1/5): شقة مستوى درجة ثالثة شمال استاد القاهرة، اوعى تفكر تيجي هنا يا اما استحمل اللي حتشوفه و تلاقيه. لو كنت عايز تيجي مارينا - مافيش حاجة تتقال غير انه مكان سيء غير قابل للزيارة و لا يصلح كمصيف. الحسنة الوحيدة ان المنظر حلو من البلكونة بس لازم تستحمل الذباب اللاصق الذي لا يتركك في امان! - اولا دي شقة في الدور الثامن و ليست شاليه، بيقولوا شاليه للتماحيك او عقدة نقص! - ثانيا مالك الشقة اخفى اهم نقطتين عننا: كرنيه دخول حمام السباحة لأربع اشخاص فقط و ما بيدخلش حمام السباحة الرئيسي + تدفع 600 جنيه لكل شخص لكل يوم عشان تروح الشاطىء اللي هو مكربس على اخره ناس و بعيد يتراح بالمركب بعد دفع فلوس الزيادة طبعاً. بلاضافة ان الكهرباء بالشحن (طبعا ما حدش قالنا) و قطعت عننا آخر ليلة و اكتشفنا من الامن و احنا ماشيين اننا كان لازم نروح نشحن بنفسنا…منتهى قلة الراحة لناس رايحة تصيف ثالثا موظف التسليم و الاستلام في منتهى قلة الادب لا بيرد على تليفون و لا فاضي يكلمك و لا حتى بييجي يستلم و بيعاملك كأنك شغال عنده! رابعا الشقة كانت قذرة عند التسليم و متنظفة اي كلام و الوساخة في كل ركن و في الادراج و ريحة الدولاب لا تطاق خامساً خلف المبنى منطقة بناء لمجمع عماير جديدة يعني هدم و رزع و ازعاج غير طبيعي سادساً مستوى منطقة شعبية و اصوات و ازعاج و شراعة باب البيت مكسورة (مافيش زجاج) سامع صوت الرايح و الجاي و هما كمان سامعينك سابعاً اثاث الشقة متهالك، الكنبة قذرة ما يتقعدش عليها و كل غرفة فيها حاجة مكسورة السراير بتزيق عايزة تربيط و كذا فيشة كهربا مكسورة في منتهى الخطورة و الدش مكسور ما تقدرش تاخد دوش براحتك و الشقة كلها محتاجة صيانة شاملة، الصور اللي محطوطة على الاعلان من وقت الافتتاح و غير مطابقة للواقع خلاص انتهى عمرها
• Ahmed (1/5): Unpleasant place to stay and if you insist to come to porti marina then make sure to book the hotel in the next building - Nothing! Except the view but then you have to bear the sticky flyers all over the Place! First of all: it is an apartment on the 8th floor of very crowded building and not a chalet! Second: owner of the apartment hided two important points from us! The card to enter the swimming pool is only for 4 people, any additional person need to pay 600 pounds per day! And nobody can enter the main swimming pool (which is only for the hotel guests in the next building) also you can not enter the main beach, which oddly on the other side of the beach and need to take a boat, unless you pay the same amount per person. In addition he did not tell that the electricity is by charge only! And on our cost, actually the on our third night the electricity is cut and we sis not know what is the reason until the morning when we were leaving and asking the neighbors! Third: the receptionist is rude and doesn’t have time to give us the keys or collect them…always taking on his phone and does not reply to our calls or messages! What a service! Fourth: the apartment was dirty when received it and almost every room has a different dirty spots, the cupboard has an ugly smell. Fifth: behind the building is a large building area with bad noises all over the day… Sixth: low level area with noises all the day from neighbors and loud ugly music in the evening…no way to have a restful sleep! also a small window glass of the main door is broken and you can hear people and they can hear you all over the day. Seventh: apartment furniture is in very bad shape and it looks never cleaned, you can not sit on the sofa from the bad spots, the shower is broken, several electrical sockets are open (very unsafe situation), all beds shakes!, the whole apartment needs urgent maintenance and all advertised pictures is from long time ago when the apartment is furnished so it doesn’t match reality.
• Ruweyda (1/5): Not enjoyable, would not recommend - Nothing Be aware: we booked a three night stay in the beginning of May and this hotel was under construction both inside and outside since they were getting ready for June, July and August. Which are the three months the north coast in Egypt are “open”. We were not aware of this fact and it was not written anywhere on the listing when we booked the hotel. According to our contact person at the hotel it is common knowledge that the north coast, including El Alamein, is only “open” during summer. We learned that this was true, but then it makes no sense that the hotel is listed on booking.com without us getting a warning. Pool was not available either. On google maps the area looked rich with stores, like carrefour, a big mall with a lot of different restaurants and cafes. But when we arrived they were building up the shelves for almost all of the stores and if not then they were closed. We had to leave after one night of not getting good sleep because of the drilling inside at night and during the day not having any facilities to enjoy, whether that was the pool, the sea (entrance costed 10 $) or food/drinks (which were far far away with car). Also another big disappointing fact, when we told our contact person that the listing was conceiving and that he should put down the listing if the hotel isn’t ready at this time or at least let it be known in the listing. He justified it by telling us we paid a small price compared to the prices in the summer, which were true. But at that time we just thought out of season is the same out of season everywhere in the world, not meaning that the hotel wouldn’t be ready. We asked for a refund even though it was a non-refundable booking because of the conditions, he told us we could be refunded at the end of the month when they receive the money from booking but on one condition: not writing a review. We were going to write a review anyway, so a very odd thing to say. Would not recommend!
• Omran (2/5): Very poor - the season of the coast finishes in Sep, i dont recommend going after that the place looks haunted. these are apartments and not hotels, know the differences.
