Guest Reviews
- Nrmaen (10/5): Amazing 10/10 - Amazing property with no issues, the facilities were amazing with the en-suites and the in room kitchens. Then the communal area was also amazing I loved everything

- Aaliyah (7/5): Festival weekend in Sheffield - Really enjoyed the fact that it had a gym, games room and also a place to lounge upstairs on floor 9, this were really convienient for us as we were also situated on floor 9 and so we did make the most of this!
The fact that it did have a communal kitchen on floor 9, this was a big life saver because we bought normal pans for an induction cooker as we were not provided these for the room. The only concern with this is that we did want to cook in the apartment, but also was only left to use this because we had bought food to be cooked. There were other residents that were engaging in sexual nature and leaving the curtains opened whilst doing this, and so when we looked through the window we could see this happening, the same individuals would change clothes in front of the window etc
Also we bought normal pans for an induction cooker as we were not provided these and the ones we were provided with from the main kitchen were not compatible and so we had to cook in the main kitchen.
- Elvis OA (10/5): I had a very pleasant stay at LIV Student, and would do it again without hesitation when needed. - The fitness centre, the rooftop terrace, the comfy bed and the room amenities. It was a hustle getting the iron box when I needed it. Sometimes I had to wait for so long.
- Lilin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muhammad (7/5): Adorable - Neat clean and easy Rent is too high
- Reilly (5/5): okay for the price, very basic facilities - location close to the centre of the city. no toilet roll in the room so we had to go out to get that. no coffee or tea provided (except one tea bag). wifi was fine but had to renew access every day. no sharp cutting knives in kitchen so limited cooking abilities. have to empty own rubbish bins at checkout. cannot hold your bags if you arrive early, which isn't necessarily a negative, just something to think about
- Lara (9/5): Superb - Friendly hosts, clean rooms and excellent facilities.
- Simmons (2/5): No communication at all, dirty bedding, broken toilet and shower. Charge prices of a hotel without a receptionist and ba - Location for our purpose of stay was good. Security were lovely and access is very limited so felt safe. Marked/dirty bed sheets - wall/ceiling dirty unpainted and rusty looking - not told where bin bags were only found this when we went to wash up - towels are very very small - a dropping that looks like a mouse dropping was found on the pillow - only a security guard at reception not a receptionist to complain about these things - couldn’t get directly in touch with hotel/accommodation and woman booking . Com put us through to said we didn’t have a booking and couldn’t help us - shower head didn’t move up wouldn’t tighten or stay put - toilet seat came off as soon as we sat down - asked for later check out was told to leave our number and we would be contacted within 10 minutes, we were never contacted - had to take out our own rubbish after checking out to a locked room without our key card, had to wait to be let back in to the accommodation to then get the keycard and then go back to rid of the bin bag - £110 a week for a student to stay here, £105 a night we paid - it is student accommodation and they are renting rooms out like a hotel without the hotel experience, not even a receptionist to ask for toilet roll or complain about the state of the room - would not recommend and would rather pay £100 a night at an actual hotel.
- Matouš (9/5): Really nice accommodation for students - Nice accommodation for students with stunning lounge with kitchen, fitness, games, coffee machine A bit remote from city centre, still walkable distance
- Bryan (6/5): Great for the price - Room was nice. Facilities are nice especially their common room. Location was quite far away from city centre but super close to waitress. Smells like someone smoking in the toilet 24/7. Also random people can simply come in my room at 7am while I was sleeping for some reason. Stepped on a metal shard in the room as well but luckily the shard was not too big.
- Nayanika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aali (10/5): Exceptional - Everything there Nothing
- Nascimento (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff, clean rooms, easy check in
- Katie (5/5): Mid. Bring your own soap! - The location is great and easy to checking, price was ok For a hotel there was a lot of things missing you'd expect:
Soap, bathroom bin, bin bags in any bins, no tea and coffee or even a kettle, no tea towel...
Just felt like there was no thought that short term stays would need more than students renting for the year, even down to only 1 toilet roll for a 5 day stay, when we asked at reception they did give us another but they weren't even sure if they were allowed
The towels were also completely threadbare, the shower leaked all over the floor.
Overall fine but a few awkward things for a week long stay, probably wouldn't stay again.
Basically felt like the bad parts of a hotel and an airbnb
- Ethan (9/5): Superb -
- Tang (10/5): My best accommodation experience in Sheffield - I really enjoyed my five-day staying here. It’s quite convenient. 15 mins walk to city centre, 1 min walk to Waitrose, 5mins walk to Chinatown. The 9th floor fun room is quite good for killing time when the weather is not that good Probably the staff need to check bit more on duvet and pillow cover, ours are slightly ruined with some black cotton dots but I guess it’s clean.
- Sian (10/5): slay - excellent location. right next to spoons and aldi there was no info on parking.
- Christopher (10/5): ONLY FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS - Dealing with the property was a complete nightmare. They are disorganised and communication can only be classed as pitiful. They need to make it very clear on their info that they will only accept University Students and not students from other colleges etc. I imagine it would be easier gaining entry to Guantanamo Bay than getting into this accommodation.
- Abbie (10/5): Exceptional -
