Endroit sûrement calme mais largement gâché par des pseudo influenceurs qui privatisent les lieux sur deux jours entiers pour se prendre en photo et vidéo toute la journée . Ce n’est pas ce que j’appelle une retraite luxueuse ni un 5 étoiles .

Slightly randomly stocked kitchen - loads of plates not many glasses, tv wouldnt connect to wifi (we didnt escalate this to staff as not important enough), and no sinks in the rooms with a toilet so had to go n wash hands in the kitchen / bedroom. Small things and had a great stay.

• Stephanie (10/5): The perfect french experience - We loved this hotel so much that we booked a second night. The hotel itself is gorgeous; as is the room that had an array of small gifts waiting for us. We stayed in the winter so there was only the one staff member during the day only, but that was fine for us. She was warm and spoke perfect English. We had a self check in late at night and the instructions provided were perfect. It was actually quite nice to enter the property with no one present. It felt like an adventure driving in the long driveway in the dark, pushing through the small dark heavy wooden door to enter into this incredible old world kitchen gently lit up at night time, and from there making our way up the curving staircase to our room that had our name on the door. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like you are well and truly in France, this is it. We have been living in the south of France for the last few years and have travelled extensively in Provence. This hotel is by far the quintessential French experience that a foreigner dreams of. The breakfast for me was paradise - such a variety of fresh produce - and presented in picture perfect style. If you like to take photos of your food, you’ll spend just as much time taking photos of the kitchen and breakfast buffet as you will eating it. As well as cold foods, we were asked if we wanted eggs of any style and bacon. I had informed the hotel ahead of time that I was gluten free and they provided me with a lovely rustic gluten free raisin bread - well above the step of the usual tasteless gf bread that other french hotels provide (if they provide any at all). As it was winter, breakfast was served on two communal dining tables. Having said this, you are not forced to make small talk with anyone as the tables are very long and each party is seated away from others so that it feels private. Location of the hotel is superb. If you are there on a Friday morning, the (most beautiful) market is practically right outside your door! The backing wall of the toilet was loose, so that each time you sat down it felt as if it was going to fall (although it wouldn’t). My understanding however is that there are plans to renovate which is why this hasn’t been fixed. We were happy to overlook this because everything else was so perfect.

• janet (1/5): Ruined my vacation. - Where to begin-sewage in our room? Lack of any follow-up when we had to leave due to sewage in our room? Yes things happen but we had our whole trip upended by this and not a sorry or let us buy you dinner or even a lousy drink. Plus I’m still getting charges for things without explanation. But what bothers me most as I have written welcom@beaumier.com twice and I have gotten no response. Shame on you.

• Kevin (9/5): Schöner Aufenthalt mit kleinen Kritikpunkten - Schöne Lage in Lourmarin, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Gelegen in einem wunderschönen Landhaus mit romantischer Atmosphäre. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit regionalen und saisonalen Produkten. Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt bei der Unterkunft. Wir waren in der Kategorie Superior Doppelzimmer, ist optisch sehr schön, jedoch Badezimmer nicht alltagstauglich. Für den Preis und für ein 5 Sterne Haus, müsste mehr Komfort und mehrere Annehmlichkeiten (Bademäntel etc.) vorhanden sein. Es werden nur die Zimmer in der Unterkunft geheizt, jedoch nicht der Aufenthaltsraum bzw. Frühstücksbereich - im Oktober eher etwas kalt.

• Eran (7/5): מקום יפה אבל מוזנח. לא אחזור. - גן יפה, שקט, מתחם ירוק ומטופח החדר יפה היו תקלות בחדר אבל פיצו אותנו עם לילה במלון המקביל של החברה שזה היה תגמול נחמד אולי בגלל שהגענו בסוף העונה, אבל - החדר לא היה נקי לחלוטין, היו כל מיני חרקים מתים. החדר לא נוח, מדרגות קטנות ותלולות. שירותים למטה כשהחדר שינה למעלה, השירותים עצמם הם חדר מאוד קטן, אטום ובלי כיור שלא מצולמים בתמונות בצדק כי זה די עלוב. המקלחת בלי שום כיסוי אז המים משפריצים לכל עבר, היא גם נמוכה ואפשר בקלות לקבל מכה בראש מהתקרה. הייתה לנו נזילה גם מהדוד שמש שנמצא ליד השירותים שהרטיבה שם הכל וגם נזילה מהתקרה של השירותים. בקיצור - תחושה של חדר יפה אבל מאוד מוזנח יחסית למה שאתה מצפה מבית הארחה שמדרג את עצמו 5 כוכבים. תחושה כללית שלא מאוד שמחים שבאת. יש צוות מאוד מצומצם. קבלת פנים קרה.

If I had to pick one thing it would maybe be the shower is a bit awkward to use for larger and taller people. My husband is 6 feet tall and had trouble with the shower head and having enough space. The claw tub shower does fit the vibe of the room though.

• Isabelle (9/5): Beautiful hotel in a tranquil village - The property is beautiful, the gardens are wonderful, the pool is lovely and the sun loungers were plentiful and comfortable. We were upgraded to an apartment after a problem with the bath in our first room. Breakfast was great in a tranquil setting. Lourmarin is a beautiful village to spend a few days in too It was very expensive for the initial room that we booked which was small with the bath in the same room as the bed and no private outdoor space. After we were upgraded to an apartment, we had a much better space. This was important because there were quite a lot of families with small children staying and so for periods of the day the pool was very noisy - so it was nice to have our own more private outdoor area outside the room.

Excellent beds and bedding. Very kind, helpful staff. Sumptuous breakfast in the large, beautiful main building. I arrived on a cool day and they had made my space in “the Grange” nice and toasty for me. I loved walking around the grounds; there was a herd of sheep in the pasture which completed the picture of a bucolic retreat. Everything was lovely, although I would have liked a robe and slippers.

Absolutely charming lady managing the house during the day. I didn’t have time for breakfast the following morning but it looked delicious as I was heading out
• Juan (8/5): Very good - The common area is nicely decorated. But the bed room needs a renovation. The bedroom is not very practical to have a bath with a curtain when the water tap leaks. There wasn’t much to do outdoors due to the time we visited. Maybe the facility could also consider outdoor area designed for colder days. The staff is friendly. The location is good.

• Yvonne (9/5): Beautiful boutique hotel - property is beautiful! we stayed in a standard room and it was very spacious and comfortable. super close to the town. service is responsive and friendly. commendation to staff Geraldine - thank you ! definitely recommend for a short stay. there's only a bathtub so when you take a shower in it, water goes out of the bathtub and makes the floor around it very wet. The area below the sink (behind the laundry basket) hasn't been cleaned in ages ao it is dusty. there was also cobweb outside the room on the ceiling corner. The room was right next to 2 others so u can hear the neighbours go in/out.

The team is available for any need, the location is perfect and you can walk everywhere in Lourmarin, the room and facilities are detailed and effortless. We couldn’t have had a better stay! The breakfast was wonderful and generous. We arrived a little early and it was no problem to get to our room. The hotel is in a fantastic location close to the village centre by foot but quiet. We could have had better lighting in the room. We had to move lights around to be able to read in our sitting room. Insect repellent candles were not lit and there could have been more done to remove insects near the pool and provide insect repellents in the rooms. There could have been fresh water in the fridges for free by the pool.

• Kelly (10/5): Everything we imagined for a beautiful Provence guesthouse stay. - Absolutely stunning grounds. The pool area, terraces, common areas were all beautiful. We had access to weekend yoga and Pilates under a beautiful tree which was a stunning experience. Our toddler loved the frog pond and access to some games. We found it strange that there was no full length mirror in our room. Also room facilities listed a fireplace but we were told it was not in season.

The buildings and grounds are lovely, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's worth it to get the extra breakfast — they will prepare the hot beverage of your choice, with eggs to order. It's a very relaxed way to start your day. Our two-level duplex suite felt quite luxurious, and it was so nice to have a deep tub for soaking. And don't miss dinner at their sister property in the heart of the village.

Old rooms and building mean AC has limited effectiveness and tub/shower is not ideally placed. Shower was leaking all over the brick floor. It would have been nice if the fountains were running.

The pool, gardens and restaurant are so stunning, it's worth making sure you have some time to enjoy it. The place is also walkable to the center of town for restaurants, bikeable to a few chateaus, but you definitely need a car for anything else. Would absolutely stay here again.
