Love the lighting. We were comfortable in our rooms
- Aslam (7/5): Decent stay for a day or two, but no more than that. - Privacy was good and the hot tub was easy to use. Everything was clean and ready for me. Waiting 10-15 mins to be then taken to the room by a (possibly 6years old) child. Took me a while to lock the door using the code provided. Other loud tennants who were having some kind of party through the night disturbed our sleep.

- Lee (1/5): - back of nowhere I didn't like having to pay a deposit of £250 into a separate bank account so I didn't stay there as it felt like a scam. I didn't get a refund as the £250 was mentioned at the bottom of Special Instructions in the pre booking blurb.
- Kay (7/5): - Clean property! Comfy & cosy. Decent location with parking.

- Azeez (8/5): A very pleasant stay - A cool environment and good room ambient
- Abigail (7/5): Hot tub disappointing and cleanliness below par, needed assistance more than once - The room was lovely well decorated and for the most part clean, there was a cooler microwave kettle plates cups and utensils all very convenient. We stayed for two nights, the location is deep into the back streets of digbeth, while we were staying there most of the roads were closed or blocked , taxi drivers were even struggling to navigate how to get out, this posed an issue with location. However this can’t be helped generally I feel we may have been unlucky but a bit of prior warning from the property could have been useful.
The hot tub, and main reason we booked was set in a nice private spot just outside the room on the balcony, there wasn’t much room out there, and putting back (what we now know to be temporary) sheet over the tub was difficult. You had to actually be in the hot tub for this to go back on. The hot tub wasn’t working on our first night and we spent till maybe 2 pm the second day trying to get it working… YouTube videos etc, when it came up with a fault I messaged the property who came down quickly and had to reset the whole system, which included having to empty the water and refill, there wasn’t a huge switch inside the door, the kind that looks like it shouldn’t be touched that needed switching on and off again, if the property left some minor instructions that state this I feel like we would have been able to problem solve a lot easier and we possibly would’ve had a better stay. However on saying that the staff were quick to respond and resolve the issue once aware.
We then went out on the second evening, and on return the room passcode had reset and we were unable to get back into the room, another message and call to the manager and again they were quite quick to respond and reset the code so we could enter, all just inconvenience rather than major issues.
The bed is very low to the floor and the upholstery on it hadn’t been cleaned very well there was what appeared to be sick splattered across the backboard. Not really very appealing but again easily fixed.

- Hebeny (1/5): Disgusting. Overpriced. Appalling customer service - There was nothing to like it was absolutely disgusting The stay here at MyNites Birmingham was appalling.
We had to sleep in our coats as the heating wouldn’t work even though it said it was on, the seals around the door were cracked and missing chunks of the wall so it was cold.
There was a cigarette burn in the duvet
There were dirty marks on the chair so we couldn’t sit on it
Under the kitchen sink was some kind of spillage which was disgusting
There were used toilet rolls in the bathroom undersink drawer
There was heart confetti bits on the floor, heart balloons on the floor and a tea light candle swept under the bed like it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous people who stayed.
The lampshade was broken and the plug to the lamp was missing a prong so it couldn’t be used.
Under the microwave was dirt, dust, a false nail and a hair grip.
The tv didn’t work even to hotspot there was no WiFi or anyway to watch anything on the tv
The shower was wobbling when touched it didn’t feel safe to be used.
The hot tub had not been cleaned there was bits of dirt on the back side left seat, the water was cloudy and it smelt foul and mouldy.
We also had problems locking the door and there was no way to lock the door from the inside.
We’ve requested a full refund as it’s well overpriced and the place is unstayable but the customer service is also appalling and haven’t even offered an apology let alone a refund even with all our photographic and video evidence of the disgusting room

- Brandon (4/5): went for this for the hottub although was only with a certain room . also had to pay 250 deposit . - went for this for the hottub although was only with a certain room .

- Christian (7/5): Overall very good just what we needed for the night - Cool ultra modern styling! Didn’t like the door into the bathroom and nothing to help you wash us dishes e.g a sponge or soap
- Bilal (10/5): - No interruption, great design , clean
- Pete (10/5): Great value for the money would definitely stay again - Room was lovely we had a great nights stay
- Marian (8/5): Lovely experience overall - The hot tub was amazing, a bit difficult with parking but nothing serious enough to ruin your stay.
Communication with staff was spot on, very understandable. Can be a bit overpriced some times.
- Luke (7/5): Decent value for money in a good location - The decor Cleanliness of bedsheets
- Courtney (9/5): -
- Sara (6/5): Honest Review. Clean, Modern, Location is not ideal. - Was impressed with how nice the room looked, very modern and felt homely.
The place was extremely clean in comparison to other places I have stayed, I’m quite fussy about where I stay and feeling comfortable, but it was not an issue in the room. The price of the room was fair, a tad on the expensive side in my opinion, due to location. But the room facilities were good for the price, including the tv which was a smart tv and had multiple features.
Bed was very comfortable (albeit on the small side), towels were lovely and clean and smelt fresh.
There was no staff to check in and was told to speak to the staff in the shop below, who were very happy to help when there was an issue with my room code. And also offered plastic cups as there were none in the room (this would be a welcome addition!) I feel there are a few teething issues with this place, that could potentially be easily rectified by the host as I believe this place is relatively new.
Firstly, the advertisement for the room was quite misleading, I was under the impression that the hot tub in the pictures was included with the stay, however upon talking to the host I found that the hot tub was solely for one room only and that was booked the days I stayed. I feel like this could be more clear in the advertising to avoid disappointment.
I was initially sceptical about also about being asked for £250 bank transferred to the host incase of any damage to the room upon checkout, It felt a bit risky and scammy. (However, I DID get that back in full the same day).
The area in which this place is situated is very run down, there are a few derelict buildings surrounding it and it seemed be attract some unsavoury characters; homeless and drug users, although I realise this is totally out of the control of the host, it felt unsafe at times to have this on the doorstep at all hours of the day and night.
A major issue I feel could and should be rectified and would be fairly easy to do so, would be to make the ‘lobby’ door safer, especially due to the area. At times coming back to and leaving our room, the door at the bottom of the stairs was often open and didn’t even need to use the key we had been given. Which made that seemingly pointless. Personally I feel like the door could have an automatic closer to ensue that the door closes every time and is locked to the outside. Or even a card or code function.
To nit pick:
Upon entering the room initially it’s smelt horribly, seemed to be from the kitchen sink, after running the water for a while the smell seemed to improve.
The clock didn’t work, which would have been handy.
There was an air freshener in the room that was obviously empty which may have helped the smell had it been working!
Overall, it was okay.

- Faye (8/5): - The room was very up to date and modern and super comfortable The fire alarm beeped every so often really loudly
- Ella (10/5): Perfect - It was very clean
- Kieran (10/5): - Location was perfect and easy to find
- Sonia (3/5): - The room we had wasnt perfect by any stretch of the imination, but i liked we chose the one with pur own bathroom. The bed was comfy. Warning! You are told at the time of booking after full payment, a day before your stay you are hit with a bill of £250.00 as bank transfer. This is in small print under terms and conditions
They dont answer their phone via me, other guests or booking.com
The keys are collected via a shop not a key safe so when the shop is shut you would have no access, same applies for checking out
You cant control the temperature in your room and is ran off the main boiler to what they deem to be perfect for every guest
My friend had a room with shared bathroom and the room was colder than the landing
They didnt show any means of compromise so booking.com stepped in only hours before my stay on NYE.
The room wasn't clean with last customers bits all over the place
Customer service non existent and they dobt read messages correctly
- Anon (2/5): - N/A I’m writing regarding booking reference 5671753291 at MyNites.
During my stay, the room was extremely cold due to inadequate heating and there was constant noise, making it impossible to rest. On inspection, I also found visible dirt under the bed and a discarded honey pack commonly used for sexual activity. I have photographs of these issues.
This indicates the room had not been properly cleaned and was not suitable for occupation. Because of these conditions, I had no choice but to leave early.
I’m requesting a partial refund for the unused portion of the booking. Please let me know how you would like to resolve this.
- Matthew (8/5): Good location, more information needed about property, shouldnt really be asking for the deposit they ask for once you h - Close to Birmingham city centre The advertisement is very confusing, i thought i was booking a hot tub, then when we got there realised there was only one room with hot tub. Not enough toilet paper, the key system for the hotel could be looked at we was told to leave with the shop below the shop was shut, ok got in touch with the owners and they said leave in the room.
- Sian (10/5): -
- Petrina (7/5): -
- Miah (6/5): - Nice looking room, comfy bed Bathroom light flickered all night, thin walls neighbours TV woke us up at 5am
- Yasif (1/5): Simply the worst place anyone could stay - Just awful, false advertisement Dirty. Old mattress that you can feel the springs.
We had to rebook elsewhere on the same night. Don’t book.
- Shannon (1/5): My Nites on Elm Street// My Nightmare - The bed was comfortable and shower was nice, although a bit of a hazard as the metal grate wasnt attached. There is no front desk reception at this hotel, and before arriving u have to pay a £250 deposit. We arrived to a massive rubbish pile next to the hotel. Which was so romantic... not.
Upon getting in the room we had a blocked toilet filled with someone elses poo. We were going out for the night so nothing could be done about this and the host had the audacity to say "housekeeping said it wasnt like this when they left." We'd been there a total of 2 minutes!
We went out.
On returning we noticed a guard dog outside the hotel was barking, this didnt stop all night.
The lights in the bathroom were on some kind of sensor which seemed to activate even when you turn on the bed. So on and off the lights went all night long.
No ambiance as the lamp was broken. And the room itself is alike an office with a bed in it. Nothing romantic at all about it sadly.
This place is wayyyyy overpriced for what it was, id expect to pay £40-50 for the conditions we had all night, we paid £117.
We didnt sleep and we held in our poo for 12 hours trying not to make the toilet worse.
Then finally i waited 7 days for the refund of the £250 deposit which was only paid back after I'd emailed twice to ask for it. The host had forgotten.
If i could rate it 0/10 i would.
- Malaz (5/5): - Nice room themes Heaters were not working, bed was uncomfortable
- Reece (1/5): Dirty facilities damaged room, site security dog barking - Nothing to like, I must say! Damaged room with a hole in the wall, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned the room was dusty and dirty
- Uzair (4/5): Poor stay but hot tub is good - Hot tub was great and the host was responsive and helpful through the stay. Deposit was refunded 7 days after checking out with no issues. Collection of the key and access to the apartment was explained clearly and the host provided extra towels free of charge at request Poor parking facilities, bed was uncomfortable, shower gel was almost finished so had to ration the use, radiator was on a timer so would turn off after a while, apartment is a lot smaller than the pictures and price point is high for what you get. Very hard to go to sleep as you could hear someone snoring very loudly from the next room due to paper thin walls. WiFi did not work and had to use our hotspot for the smart TV
- Barry (9/5): -
- Natalia (7/5): it was easy to check in with no hassle and comfortable sleep - it's a very pretty room, had a kitchenette and en suite, kitchenette well equipped and good working tv aswell at the time we went there was still renovations happening so was quite loud and heating didn't initially work so room was very cold, however did message owner and they quickly fixed this for us
- Kylie (1/5): Terrible. - Property is in a hideous area above a corner store. No reception and please note **you have to pay a deposit of £250 by direct bank transfer prior to being able to collect key from the shop downstairs. Front door does not lock automatically in a dodgy area so rooms are not safe.
Code pad on doors to get into rooms is so loud you are constantly woken up by people getting into the rooms. No soundproofing at all. Hard to sleep you can hear people in the other rooms constantly.
Beds are tiny with a duvet that doesn’t cover 2 people.
Overall a bad stay.
- marie (7/5): -
- jemma (8/5): It was lovely, staff were so helpful over message. - The shower and hot tub were so nice !! It created such a great atmosphere and my boyfriend was really happy for his birthday ! I think the location and the temp of the room were the only let downs. I think it is definitely a hidden gem in Birmingham.
- morrow (1/5): I left after an hour and went to stay in a premier inn - The interior design The bedside lamp didn’t work.
The place itself was freezing and the radiator didn’t heat up fully.
The bathroom door wasn’t a door, it was a slide one.
The bathroom light didn’t have a switch it just kept coming on and off constantly, same with the fan.
- DEBBIE (1/5): -
- Hickman (6/5): - Comfortable room and decent facilities, good location Perhaps due to the lack of staff presence, some other guests got rather rowdy, shouting, loud music, slamming doors and running up and down the corridors until 3am
As well as a lot of coming and going all hours of the night (take that as you will) so unfortunately not much sleep was had
Due to this I did feel slightly nervous, especially as we woke up on Saturday and the camera outside our room was missing
- Alloway (9/5): - Nice bathroom
- kyle (5/5): - Me and my partner liked the room and hotub of course. It was a nice night and an enjoyable time with the hot tub aswel I didnt like the heating kept turning off and on as its winter time and it was freezing all night
- James (5/5): - Shower. No tea / coffee. Very light duvet. No hair dryer. Took £250 deposit. Last minute contact to gain entry. Had yo provide x2 i. d. Photos. Not the cleanest room ive ever been in. Entrance and key pad poorly explained.
- Dan (1/5): - Terrible

- Yvonne (7/5): -

- Natalia (10/5): Amazing getaway - The property was amazing. Lovely little couple getaway. Staff are amazing too. Very understanding and happy to help. The lady who owns the place is a gem.

- Katie (5/5): Misleading - Good location No hot tub?
- Umair (9/5): - As described Location/enterance
- Kurt (8/5): - Hot tub had too much chlorine in it and was itchy when I got out
- Mohammad (10/5): -
- Chris (1/5): HELL/DIRTY/DANGEROUS/SHOWER DOESNT WORK - Showers didn’t have hot water, crumbs and food in the room, not clean, MyNites profile picture and advertisement is misleading portraying access to the hot tub. Walls might as well not exist as you can hear absolutely everything, got one hours sleep as other guests that came in where talking and arguing and you could hear absolutely everything … other guests tried getting our room with another code, dangerous, unsafe and completely inappropriate. if you want an experience of Hell, Book here
- Saksham (10/5): - Its nice a pretty place
- Emmanuel (10/5): -
- Owens (5/5): -
- Zi (1/5): - The rooms were big and spacious The location, the management is very rude and disrespectful
