• Emma (10/5): Nice stay in city close by grocery store - Nice beds, kitchen and bathroom. Enjoyed the clean room. Very nice laundry and drying racks. Very easy to communicate with the host. Walking distance to train station and grocery store nearby. There were no towel for kitchen, so that was little inconvenient.

• Endora (8/5): - It was about 600m from the Gotanda train station, added bonus we had friends round the corner. Room was comfortable to sleep at, as we spent more time outdoors visiting various spots. Good food around the area, 7-11 round the corner. There is an elevator and its a nice thing to have with luggage. Host was responsive when I had questions. Instructions were clear about what to do with trash and we know that the Japanese folks do recycle properly. Left word if we needed trash clear to inform them, but we brought our trash down to discard, separated. Could cook in the apartment but we didnt. Came equipped with cooking pots/pans, cutlery, fridge and washing machine. Toiletries provided. Thank you JAPT Gotanda. If the room was a tad larger but space is space in Japan.

• Katharina Luise (10/5): Perfekt, um preiswert in zentraler Lage wirklich komfortabel zu übernachten - Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und war dennoch ruhig. Die Betten sind angenehm weich und bequem. Auffallend war die sehr gute Ausstattung, sogar eine Waschmaschine mit Trockner war vorhanden. Bei einer Nachfrage hat der Besitzer sehr schnell geantwortet und war sehr hilfreich.

• SHINOBU (8/5): 私には丁度良い場所・建物だったので、また泊まりたいなと思いました。 - 駅に近すぎるとガヤガヤうるさいので程良い距離と、1番は枕がホテル特有の高いやつではなく丁度良い高さで眠りやすかったです。 予約後に送られてきたエントランスのオートロックの開け方、説明通りではありましたが、記載されている写真にはオートロック画面に反応(たぶんエラーの表示)があるのに実際の入る際には反応は無いので、どうやったら画面に表示されるんだろう？と手こずり私にはややこしいなと思いました。

• Richard (3/5): - Great neighborhood/location — I really liked the area and found it convenient for getting around Tokyo. Responsive host — communication was quick and the host replied promptly when needed. Value for money — even with the 50% discounted rate, the overall price felt a bit high relative to the amenities and cleanliness, and it didn’t quite match what I typically expect at that price point. Cleanliness — the kitchen didn’t feel clean on arrival, and the room also seemed below expectations in terms of cleanliness. Overly strict atmosphere — there were many signs listing rules and restrictions, which made the stay feel a bit uncomfortable and less welcoming. Kitchen setup not as described — it was advertised as a full kitchen, but the actual equipment and supplies were very minimal, making it hard to use in practice. Poor insulation — the window didn’t insulate well, so outside noise/temperature came through more than expected.

• Keisuke (7/5): 大変良かった。 - 割引期間で安価になっており、コスパはよかった。こういった施設によくありがちな入室の面倒な手順もなく、セキュリティもしっかりしていた。洗濯機があったのも助かる。途中清掃員が間違って入室してきそうになった際、確認連絡をいれると迅速かつ丁寧に対応いただき、逆に信頼度が増した。 特にありません。強いてわがままを言わせていただければ、乾燥機、加湿器を置いていただけると助かります。あとはユニットバスの仕切りのためのカーテンんをつけていただけるとより、利便性がまします。エアコンが途中動かなかったときもあったが、電源いれなおしたりしたところ、なおった。

• Gladys (7/5): - Comfortable beds. Good location and quiet. Several train stations nearby, 10 or 20 minutes away. The sheets didn't feel clean; it seemed like they'd been sprayed with deodorant. It's recommended to put a mirror outside the bathroom, provide a portable step stool to get into the bathroom, and install a shower curtain in the bathtub. The TV should be mounted high on the wall so it doesn't obstruct the walkway. The heating wasn't working, so we slept in our coats. We only received two towels for the entire week, and when we washed them at night, they weren't dry by the next morning.

• Arvind (5/5): A neat apartment with functional kitchen but needs drastic makeover. - The apartment is approximately 1 km from both the nearby stations. Advantages. The room had enough space to open two suitcases. The Kitchen was functional and we were able to cook some basic stuffs. The room was neat and clean including the toilet. Its not a hotel, its an apartment rental or you can say Airbnb rental. There are no staffs so you are on your own. Of course they will send all instructions in PDF format via mail. The bathroom needs refurbishing. Its old with a separate hot and cold with a valve which is slightly tricky to handle. They wont change your towels throughout your stay(there are no staffs to even request a towel change). We stayed for 4 nights. The bathroom has no screen, so if you are not careful the water might spill out of the bath tub and wet the entire bathroom floor. Mind you the kitchen lacks a knife hence we had to cut vegetables with a cutlery knife.

J’ai aussi aimé le petit guide fourni pour expliquer l’utilisation des équipements, très utile pour comprendre rapidement comment tout fonctionne. J’ai moins apprécié la salle de douche qui fuyait, ce qui n’était pas très pratique. De plus, l’eau chaude mettait environ 20 minutes à arriver, ce qui rend l’utilisation de la douche un peu compliquée

• Asia (1/5): Sad Accommodation - I liked that it was semi close to train stations and has great cafes. Our eight-day stay was far from what we expected. We were never advised that only two sets of towels and a single set of sheets would be provided for the entire duration. When we asked for replacements, we were instructed to wash them ourselves and use the air conditioning unit to dry them a disappointing response. Upon requesting new linen, we were curtly reminded that “this isn’t a hotel”. The lack of a shower curtain caused water to pool across the bathroom floor, and the constantly flushing toilet, combined with dated fittings, added to the frustration. The abundance of restrictive signage made the property feel uninviting, and the lack of soundproofing meant constant exposure to road noise. Future guests might consider bringing earplugs.

The air con unit of the room next door was extremely loud at times (for about 5-10 min every half hour, day and night) and made it difficult to sleep without earplugs.

• Dominik (8/5): - Good, spacious room with everything you need. Comfy bed with a nice big TV on the stand with WIFI and a couch as well, plenty of space. Elevator to get up to the room, decent location, 10 minutes from Sugamo JY station. No shower cover in shower for some reason.
• Pierre (8/5): Exceptional value with extremely helpful owners. - The owners are fantastic at communicating and making instructions and directions clear. The rooms are exactly as pictured and described so there are no nasty surprises. Rooms are clean and the value is exceptional Being in Tokyo, the rooms are small - this is common for the city and so to be expected. Had an issue with one appliance however owners were very helpful in looking to get it rectified as soon as possible.
• FARAH (10/5): - Clean, facilities and amenities prepared are very thoughtful of travellers needs. Staff is very responsive to my queries even late at night. A little bit far away from station. Amenities like toothbrush set, and pyjama (like hotel) are not prepared.
