Beautiful setting, comfortable beds and inviting atmosphere. The blinds were not blockout, as the window is in direct eyesight. Would be a great addition for blockout blinds.

Lovely views to the surrounding hills. Overall, lovely stay! We stayed on a deal which made it good value but I wouldn’t have liked to have paid more just because the decor was as a little outdated.

Marc (9/5): Recommended - Nice looking lodge, very well located for the caves (15min drive) and good restaurants (10mins). Room was clean and comfortable and has everything you need for a nights stay. Slightly dated, but it is an old lodge so only to be expected. We could hear people in the neighbouring lodges, but they went to bed quite early. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Swimming pool didn't look very clean You have to go out for lunch/dinner, but there is a nice restaurant close by.

Caroline Wouters (7/5): Locatie is schitterend - De locatie is fantastisch en uniek vooral als je 's morgens het ontbijt buiten op het terras geserveerd krijgt (hebben we wel moeten vragen) Personeel is vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Kamers zijn zeker groot genoeg maar ze zijn aan renovatie toe. Het beddegoed voelt niet fris aan, lakens en dekens zijn aan vervanging toe alsook sommige meubels. Het zwembad was niet gekuist.

Tammy (8/5): Stunning location, best hosts. - Stunning location and friendly service really go all out for their guests. You can braai and just ask reception for anything, and they bend over backward for you. However, if you are going for a sporting weekend, make sure you have extra cooler space as the fridge is tiny. It's true what they say about small dorpies, everything shuts on a Sunday, when you have been away for the entire day and come back to a room not serviced its not the best experience and dampens anyone's mood.

Gavin (9/5): Lovely stay - Situated on the road to the Cango Caves so quite area. Room was nice with comfortable twin beds. AC in room which was need as weather was very hot. Room has a fridge and coffee facilities if needed, also there are BBQ ( braai) facilities to use. There is a pool on the premises you can swim and if required they also do breakfast. Has a honesty bar for cold drinks. Good Wifi and Satelite TV channels. There is a restaurant within 500m and then plenty available further in town ( can recommend Karoopot restaurant for a wide variety). Will definitely stay again. nothing

The hosts were so attentive and offer to make dining reservations, experience reservations etc. The room had everything to ensure one was comfortable. Outside cushions for patio chairs, swimming and washing towels, coffee, sugar, milk, extra blankets, Aircon, body wash, shampoo, hand wash and they supplied a braai tong, plates, cutlery etc so we could enjoy our little Christmas braai. We could buy ice, wood, fire lighters etc from on premises store which was very convenient. We enjoyed a refreshing swim at the pool. The breakfast was tasty and enjoyed by us. A great mix of fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt and the fry up (eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoe etc.) Was very tasty. We wished we stayed a day longer, as it was so peaceful. We'll definitely stay again. The shower leaked so quite a bit of water on floor afterward we showered. I Forgot to tell hosts, but it dried super quite due to heat.

Towels were stained and worn, the baby cot bedding and mattress were very dirty, the bed throw had stains, and even the cups were not clean. While we were out and the room was being cleaned, a brand new swimsuit (still with tags) went missing from our luggage. We reported it, but there was no follow-up. The second night was very uncomfortable due to many insects flying in the room and crawling on the bed. Overall, an unpleasant stay with serious cleanliness issues and a missing personal item. Gitte (9/5): A very friendly and beautiful stay in gorgeous nature surroundings - Beautiful location and lovely cottage. Staff extremely friendly and supportive in everything. Went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Bedlinen had a slight damp smell to it, but nothing we couldn’t oversee.

Miguel (9/5): Wonderful small resort tucked away in the Oudtshoorn mountains! - The friendly staff and quite tucked away resort! Some of the tiles were coming loose, the wifi dropped out quite frequently but i assume this is due to being tucked away in the mountains!
