- David (9/5): Overall very enjoyable stay. Dinner was delicious and service overall very good. - More a country estate house than a Chateau. Very comfortable and very good restaurant. Welcoming was unfortunately not very good. We had tried earlier to make a reservation for dinner and on arrival we were told that it was fully booked. Only after walking out and saying we would go to another hotel were we told that there was a table for 2 that just became available.
- Sophie (10/5): Absolutely beautiful - romantic hotel. - Beautiful hotel, iconic views, stay in a suite if you can.
- Penelope (10/5): Will recommend it highly - fabulous stay, restaurant excellent, staff friendly and incredibl6 helpfu - Welcoming and helpful staff. Huge bath with view of Reims and breakfast was fabulous.

- Oleksandr (6/5): - Overall, the hotel left a good impression, but I wouldn’t call it a solid five-star property — it’s more of a strong four-star hotel.
For a five-star level, some basic service elements are missing. For example, there was no bellboy to assist with luggage. There was a very kind receptionist who did her job perfectly and even offered to help with the bags, but honestly, it doesn’t feel right to ask her to carry suitcases — it’s simply a matter of proper service standards.
Regarding the room (Winston Churchill), there was no wardrobe at all — nowhere to hang clothes, which is quite surprising for a hotel of this level.
Breakfast was also disappointing. Expectations were much higher. There seemed to be some confusion with the service: either the staff didn’t fully understand us in English, or something else went wrong. For a table of four, each of us ordered cold cuts, sausages, and a fruit salad, but in the end, only one portion of each was served. After we asked again, another single portion was brought 10 minutes later. Only the fruit salads were eventually served to each person — but by that time, we were already about to leave due to the long wait. The pastries also left much to be desired.
The views from the hotel, however, are absolutely outstanding — 10/10.
Considering all of the above, the price feels noticeably overpriced for what the hotel actually offers.
In summary: a pleasant stay, but the hotel does not quite meet five-star expectations and does not justify its price.

- Sara (6/5): My stay was a relaxing break from my busy city trip, but it felt overpriced for what I experienced. - I loved the vibe and decoration of the building and the rooms. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff was friendly. The outdoor hot soaking tub was a unique experience as well. I felt that my stay was significantly overpriced. I booked the best room available, but it did not resemble the videos I had seen on social media at all. The property was also eerily empty, which made for a strange atmosphere. I noted in my reservation that it was my birthday, but the only acknowledgment I received from the chateau was a tiny chocolate dessert during breakfast.
We decided to use the outdoor hot tub in the morning and wanted to make some tea for our soak. However, the water in the kettle at the spa was old and moldy. Additionally, the slippers meant for us to use in the spa appeared used and dirty. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations, especially after paying over $800 for a one-night stay.

- Sterre (10/5): Perfect - De locatie was prachtig.
- Rachel (4/5): Didn't live up to expectations - the room was very nice corridors depressing, bar depressing, disappointing bar snacks
- Melis (10/5): It was an amazing experience - Rooms and whole building like we teleported to 70s
And it was amazing
- David (9/5): We intend to return for a longer trip - This is a special place. Very quiet surrounded by vineyards. Well appointed rooms, nice bar, great breakfast. The restaurant was closed the evening we visited, and we were there for one night only on a road trip so didn’t try the spa or visit nearby wineries for champagne tasting. Next time we visit we will ensure we are on a less tight schedule. It’s not cheap so you need to plan your trip to get value
- gianluca (9/5): Una meraviglia immersa nello champagne - Chateau meraviglioso, immerso nelle vigne, struttura calda e accogliente come piace a noi. Lo staff è stato veramente gentile. Camera in stile, meravigliosa. Peccato.
- Christine (8/5): Such a fabulous chateau but dinner was very disappointing. - A fabulous building with beautiful bedrooms and the most stunning interior decor, we just love it ! The restaurant no longer offers an À la Carte menu in the evening and so there is no choice - you have to have the tasting menu. If you stay more than one night you have to have exactly the same meal again. This is not acceptable.
- mathieu (10/5): -
- Trudie (9/5): Gorgeous hotel! - The hotel was fabulous, beautiful rooms, grounds and dining area. The service in restaurant was extremely slow and we had been sat for nearly an hour before alerted them that we hadn’t yet been asked for our drink order.
- Bernard (7/5): -
- Frank (10/5): -
- stephanie (10/5): One of our best stays with our 2 Labradors - This is a wonderful hotel in a lovely location; a lot of attention paid to details and a wonderful reception for us and our two Labradors with beds and goodies just for them in the room. We really loved our experience! Everything was wonderful!
- Elia Carlos (8/5): Mitigé - Le restaurant Les chambres
- Fernanda (10/5): Lovely place for a romantic stay. - I loved everything, the view was amazing, the breakfast excellent and the staff really helpful and friendly. I liked everything
- Saif (10/5): -
- RAYMOND (8/5): spoilt by the evening meal - reception, room views and the building, all excellent. This hotel is a very expensive stop over, every thing should be perfect, the restaurant service was slow. taking 3.75 hours for diner. the menu was only two choices at 90e per person one meat, one vegetarian. Both were taster choices not a real meal. portions were minuscule, with the long wait between courses. We completed the menu still hungry and frustrated by the very slow service. The head waiter was rushing around doing his best, the other waiting people seamed not to know what they should be doing. What should have been an enjoyable evening, simply was not.
Sehr unflexibel. Unprofessionelle Reaktion.

- Estelle (7/5): Good -
- Jenifer (10/5): A Dream Stay at a French Château – Absolute Perfection - From the moment we arrived at this stunning French château, everything exceeded our expectations. The service was truly impeccable...warm, attentive, and effortlessly elegant. Every member of the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and completely taken care of. As Americans this was particularly important to us.
The views from the property were simply breathtaking. Rolling countryside, manicured gardens, and historic architecture made every moment feel like a scene from a classic film.
We started each day with breakfast served in our room, which was both indulgent and beautifully presented. Truly an unforgettable morning ritual.
Dinner at the château's restaurant was a highlight...refined yet comforting cuisine that showcased the best of French culinary tradition, paired with an exceptional wine list and an atmosphere that was both intimate and elegant.
To top it all off, the spa was a sanctuary of calm. We enjoyed the hot tubs nightly! Open 24/7 and only steps to a sauna and shower!
In every way, this château delivered a flawless experience. Whether you're looking for romance, rest, or simply a taste of French elegance, this is the place to be. We’re already dreaming of our return.
- Epameinondas (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (3/5): Poor -
- Eline (4/5): A very expensive 3-star hotel, however good reception service - The reception service is great, the rooms are perfect (very charming and clean), the massages/facials are perfect! Unfortunately, this cannot be considered a 5-star hotel. The breakfast is very very below average (fruits not fresh, bread is not good, had to wait 40min for an omelette, bad coffee). The service in the restaurant is also below average, not professional and people have no experience working in a decent hotel. Way too expensive for what it is unfortunately. We won’t be back.
- Allison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marianne (9/5): Superb -
- Alistair (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - Excellent hotel
- Joanna (4/5): Come for the views, avoid the restaurant - We loved the beautiful surroundings, the view and the welcome we received upon our arrival. The room was ready on time and everything was done with care. There were even some treats and snacks for our dog. We were genuinely taken aback by how poor the service was at this restaurant... especially considering the standard the hotel sets elsewhere. The server was... let's say not exactly friendly. And while I don’t expect theatrical smiles, a minimum level of grace and timing is surely not too much to ask.
Throughout the evening, we felt rushed, our conversations were repeatedly interrupted mid-sentence with no regard for timing or tone. We ordered wine that never arrived, yet was still included on the bill. When I pointed it out, the server seemed visibly irritated, as if correcting her mistake was an inconvenience.
Dessert was brought out, placed on a tray and left standing a couple of meters from our table. The same thing happened with the bill, it was just left nearby. There was no communication between staff, no attentiveness, no effort to ensure things were served when ready or brought to the guest.
To make matters even worse - the next day we discovered that two entirely unrelated bills had been charged to our room... nearly 800 euros. I had to clarify the situation with reception. That kind of mistake is inexcusable in a restaurant that claims any level of refinement.
The food itself was really good, but honestly, that is not what I’ll remember. All I’m left with is an impression of a poorly managed place with untrained, inattentive, and frankly unprofessional staff.
We had chosen the restaurant for a quiet birthday dinner but in hindsight, room service would have been a far better choice.
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Frederick (10/5): First class, - Location, fabulous setting Nothing
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - Just amazing location on the hill just outside Reims … in the middle of the vineyards Not a big gripe but for such a quality residence the gym/ spa was a little underwhelming … probably not a big selling point but if you promote it it needs to be a real resource
- James (6/5): Some good but not good enough for what this brand is trying to achieve. - The food was variable. Starter was good. Main course was ok. One dessert was good the other was ok. Service at breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Beautiful location. It was poor that as guests we didn’t automatically get a dinner table allocated or told on booking the room that we would need to reserve. When I was invited to book a table some time after booking, the restaurant was already fully booked on our second night. I wasn’t told that until I checked in.
After a walk in the evening and return to the hotel, it would be better if at least one of the 3 members of staff in reception had greeted us. A simple ‘bonsoir’ would have sufficed.
Staff on reception in the mornings of our stay were better.
Aircon was effective in reception only. It was 36-38 when we stayed. Room aircon worked very slowly but did so eventually. Restaurant aircon was hampered by the fact that the terrace doors were left open.
- Marek (7/5): Ok. But not great. - Good location, nice sized room, and good aircon. Doesn't really feel like a 5 star hotel. Room had multiple small and annoying defects (bathroom door didn't close, which let in the external building lights that were shining into the room for some reason? And the bathtub tap was stuck and impractical to use. I asked for this to be fixed after the first night, and it was not). The staff at the restaurant were also horribly understaffed and it was pretty poorly operated.
- Ian (5/5): Lovely location but let down by poor restaurant and bar staff. - Room was excellent as was the service from the reception staff Service in the restaurant was not good - staff were arguing and not in a good mood. This resulted in poor service for our evening meal.
We heard 3 other tables complain about service but it didn't seem to affect the staff at all.
we ended up leaving early as it was just not enjoyable.
Having said that the food was actually very good.
- Christine (10/5): Absolutely fabulous ! - We loved the location, the building, the decor, the bedroom (Madame de Pompadour), the view, the food, the staff, everything ! Nothing, we loved everything.
- Malgorzata (10/5): Amazing place - Absolutely beautiful property! Great restaurant! Beautiful views. Comfortable beds, great spa. Nothing
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect for us except below. too many covers for the amount of staff at dinner time. We had to wait too long.
- Şalom (7/5): Good - Amazing location and venue. The deluxe rooms have huge white lights right outside of the windows, that are on until 4 am. Unfortunate curtains don’t help blocking it at all and the room was fully bright the whole night.
- Oswaldo (7/5): Good -
- Brett (5/5): A beautiful location, but unfortunately let down by shocking service and poor treatment. - Château de Sacy is in a stunning location, with gorgeous views and just a short walk from a lovely little town. The property is set on a hill, and the view from our room was amazing. We also had electric vehicle parking booked, which was very convenient. The staff were pleasant at first, but this changed when we raised a complaint about the restaurant food. The lamb was dry, tasteless, and disappointing — I've had better for a third of the price. It's also worth noting that booking the restaurant doesn't guarantee a seat on the scenic terrace, which was misleading. More concerningly, a table next to us was served nuts despite having flagged a nut allergy — a serious oversight.
When we raised our concerns about the food, the staff dismissed them entirely. They showed no interest, told us the meal was “fine,” and insisted we pay and leave. We found this response very dismissive and the service shockingly poor.
- Simon (10/5): A warm welcome, beautiful hotel and setting, attentive friendly staff, a very relaxing restful stay. -
- Michel (7/5): Enjoyed our stay ! - Been out in the countryside . For a stay of more than 1 night - lack of choice on the food - lacking simple foods . Caters only for those with a gastronomic taste. Champagne choice not great . We generally found it to be expensive.
- Benedetta (7/5): Place remains one of a kind - Dreamy location, small and cozy We didn’t manage to take avantage of the covered terrace, despite having seats available, the waiter didn’t let us in
- Jia (10/5): Just beautiful - We were speechless as our car drove towards this hotel. Just beautiful. A beautiful castle in a large vineyard is a fairy tale. And it has a lot of professional and enthusiastic staff. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were delicious. The hotel also has an extensive collection of champagne for guests.
- Ali (9/5): Superb -
- Ivan (8/5): Very good -
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mehmet (10/5): Lovely experience, stay at a great chateau and be cared by a wonderful team - Excellent location to complement a visit to the champagne region. It’s is a pretty chateau but what makes it extra special is the staff and the engagement of the whole team. A great choice if you plan to spend an evening or two in this region. Or for a romantic getaway.
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicolas (10/5): Exceptional -
- B.berkin (10/5): Awesome - Cant be better, staff was awesome, very helpful and professional
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Everything the staff so unbelievably helpful above and beyond. The chateau is stunning Nothing
- Weihang (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Excellent -
- Daisy (7/5): Good - Breakfast was good
Very rustic style rooms and house - isn’t luxury but has a lot of charm
About £350 a night - we used it as a pit stop
Friendly check in staff at reception Room quite loud near elevator
Didn’t personally like the pillows
Breakfast server not overly friendly
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Dean (9/5): Real Chateau-holiday! - We had a wonderful time in the Chateau. The service - especially the reception - was very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious and well equipped. We love the double shower! The bed was convenient! The coice of the lunch and dinner menu is limited. The temperature - as you might expect in a "vintage" building was not all times warm, but OK! The eggs benedict for breakfast was not as excellent as the overall status of the hotel!
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nick (10/5): Very relaxing and a real treat - lovely food and gorgeous rooms - Beautiful location and staff made us so welcome on arrival
- Gaia (9/5): Superb -
- Jamie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bridget (6/5): Good but not great. - Clean. Really great staff. Friendly and helpful. Food was ok. Location is less picturesque than the photos.
- David (10/5): A wonderful place, very special and well worth a visit for the experience. - Beautiful room with lovely view and special bathroom, excellent service with a smile made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious (except see below)! My main course, venison, at dinner had not been hung long enough and was not as delicious as I would have expected.
- Margaret (9/5): A perfect spot for a visit to champagne - Excellent service all around, lovely location and wonderful food.
- Roussel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marianna (10/5): The perfect location in Champagne, an exquisite stay. - What an absolute gem of a place! Can’t dream of a better location in Champagne, on top of a hill, surrounded by the vineyards. Staff were lovely, restaurant at the greenhouse-style terrace was perfect, overall stay was a delight. Everything was perfect.
- Harinath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Incredible experience with very friendly staff, beautiful hotel and gorgeous views! - Such a beautiful hotel, situated perfectly amongst the vines in the Champagne region. The service was truly exceptional - the staff were incredibly friendly and the food at the restaurant was outstanding. We could not have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon!
- Laurent (8/5): Very good -
- Lino (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (10/5): It’s a lovely location to start from to explore the Champagne villages. - A lovely little Chateau recently restored. We came across Chateau de Sacy a few years before when it was empty and in need of repair. When we returned and saw it restored we were shown around and promised ourselves to return and stay.
We had a beautiful and spacious room overlooking the village and vineyards.
- Karolyn (9/5): A pleasant stopping off point. - Beautiful position and outlook. Nothing.
