• René van de Mheen (8/5): - The Portal deserves a very good score. In the backyard of the much more expensive Radisson Blu Sukhumvit you will find this gentle hotel with excellent and super friendly staff. Rooms are almost new, nice decorated and very clean. Great shower. Everything you need is into it. Nothing to complain and reasonable priced for Bangkok standards as well. I will give a 8.5 score If people do breakfast make sure you have cleaned the hall already. It is a little uncomfortable (noisy) if you use the vacuum cleaner while eating

• Anca Cristina (7/5): Not really worth the money - The location of the hotel is very good, also close to public transport lines and really quiet for a city like Bangkok The room had a very small window, no toiletries like shampoo and shower gel that other hotels in this category offer, and the shower was very difficult to adjust, the water was either very hot or very cold. Plus there is no space to hang around at the hotel, the eating area is very small and basic. Because of these aspects the hotel is not really good value for the money and I think better options can be found in the city

• Sivakumar (9/5): I would give additional credit to the room service excellent job and nice people - Breakfast is SUCK cause no one to serve when I happen to reach breakfast around 8.50am then the reception calling the worker to serve me but no exiciting food at all cause it’s just very simple breakfast so not encouraging here to pay for breakfast Lousy breakfast

• eric (8/5): The portal..An appropriate name. - Cleanliness of the place. And quality. The breakfast for example is made on the spot. This is a trait of a luxury hotel. The Apple TV in the bedroom is somewhat intimidating but for tech nurds it is of course a plus point. And the warm welcome every time you enter the hotel is also worth mentioning. To be honest I did find the room a bit tight. Buy I assume this is normal in a new hotel in a crowded city.

• Yafit (4/5): בנונית מינוס מינוס ולא מצדיקה את המחיר - הזמנו לזוג ונער בן 13, ההזמנה אושרה גם ע"י בוקינג וסברנו שהחדר מותאם לזוג ונער כפי שההזמנה אישרה. קיבלנו 2 מיטות טווין שלא מתאימות ל3 אנשים. אכזבה גדולה, נאלצנו לחבר מיטות ולהצטמצם, לא היה נוח בכלל ומאוד פגע בהנאה שלנו. כמו"כ בחדר היו מלא נמלים בכיור הרחצה וגם בשידה/שולחן היחיד בחדר. הערנו על כך לצוות אך לצערנו הבעיה לא נפתרנ. כמו"כ הדלתות החדר (לטמבטיה ולכניסה) היו קשות להזזה. הם עם מנגנון שנועץ את הדלת במקום ורק במאמץ אפשר לפתוח/לסגור. הצוות היה אדיב מאוד אבל לצערנו התנאים היו ממש לא טובים ולא מצדיקים את המחיר

• Diana (6/5): Soundproof hotel - It is soundproof which is a big plus. At checkin he had to sign that we agree to pay a specific amount if we broke a towel/pillow/… (is not like we came there to do some damage). During our first night we discovered that there is no hot water in the shower or sink, after the receptionist came and agreed to that there is no hot water we had to pack all come to reception to take the key for our new room, all of this after a long day when you inky want to do a shower and nap. The room is small and the doors are heavy. It felt like a hostel not a 4 start hotel. At checkout the receptionist went to the room to check if we broke something…. is our first experience like that on a 4 star hotel.

• Mariana (10/5): Would definitely recommend - Staff is super nice and the rooms are super super comfy. Beds are the comfiest i had in Thailand . Clean and modern. They let you storage your lugagge in the luggage room in case you need it . The only bad part (but manageable) is that the building is in between 2 BTS stations so you have to move quite a while to get to any of them.

Close to everything needed in Bangkok, with great access to public transportation, just off Sukhumvit, but so very quiet.Hotel is super clean and comfortable. My expectations were exceeded.

Reception are exemplary,bright personalities always wanting to please nothing too much trouble. Whilst in the elevator on each floor as you ascend or descend there are murals in different colours,quite unique and pleasing to the eye. No couldn’t fault it.

• Erland (10/5): Mer enn fornøyd. - Nesten nytt hotell. Helt rent. Parkett på gulv. Fine keramiske fliser på badet og dusjrom, både på gulv og vegger. Teppegulv i korridor. Stor heis. Stort smart tv. Stor og solid safe. Utsjekking kl. 12. Gunstig pris pr. 3 til 5. November 2025. Ligger svært sentralt, men i rolig sidegate. Kun minutter å gå til Asok Skytrain og Sukhumvit Subway (MRT) og Terminal 21. Nede ved siden av resepsjonen var en nedsenkning i rommet med flere pulter etc. der man f.eks. kan sitte å jobbe/studere. Ingen stol på mitt rom, men 3 bordlignende møbler. Ellers 2 store nattbord med hyller. Ikke stort hotellrom dersom man er 2 personer, men god plass på badet med svær benk med hyller og svært speil. Litt tung dør inn til badet. Kun et lite treningsrom i 1. etg. Alt som var der var en tredemølle, 1 spinningsykkel, en benk og noen svært lette vekter. På gulvet en stor matte der man kan gjøre egne øvelser eller utføre yoga. Men koselig rom.

Tras ser victimas de un robo en las inmediaciones "robo de cartera y documentación" también se llevaron la tarjeta de acceso a la habitación. Aun así y exponiendo la situación en recepcion, no dudaron en cobrarnos 500bth que según ellos vale la tarjeta. Inaudito, falta total de empatia. .
