• Sergei (7/5): Good - The room was definitely good value for money, although I have to admit that it is not for everyone. They required that all the guests should be university students in the UK. And this requirement was not just a formality because they persistently demanded that IDs or CAS documents should be sent to them. The room met my expectations in terms of size and furniture because all student accommodation is pretty standardised within the UK. The neighbourhood was really nice: the tube within walking distance, the uberboat pier and the cable car nearby, the O2 arena with all the restaurants and outlets, little parks and boulevards. The supermarkets were surprisingly scarce, though: only one smallish Tesco near the tube station. Unfortunately, short-term guests like myself were treated the same way as all the long-term tenants: no cleaning in the room or rubbish removal by the staff, no extra rubbish bags (in 12 days!), no extra shampoo or soap, etc. On the brighter side, the laundromats were available on the ground floor. Luckily, I had the app and the general know-how to operate the washers and dryers in such facilities in British student accommodation. The only thing that I particularly disliked was the attitude of the receptionists/security staff. They were brusque and surprisingly unfriendly.

• Barry (2/5): A complete & utter rip-off, STAY AWAY. In all my years using Booking.Com, never was it this bad! - Key was collected on a weekend & a extremely rude security guard on duty had to do the check-in process. Even though all confirmations were received, there was still a 30 minute wait to check if payment was received. We booked & paid for a double room, that is for 2 people. We had to ask for an additional towel. The "double bed" is a joke. We paid for "daily cleaning", this did not occur once. Pictures on the site utter rubbish.
• Jasmin (1/5): Bad - nothing when we arrived the property was a building site with no rooms ready for stay. The cleaner never cle set the room while we stayed there. Things were stolen from our room while we was working. No bed or electricity when we arrived to then be told builders were living on site.
• Sarinda (10/5): Please clean and mob the floor of the room for guests - Room quality Cleanliness when I get into the room, the floor was dirty do I had to swiped the floor 3 rounds so that I could stay for 6 nights, despite I have to pay 100 GBP per stay for cleaning as Booking.com charged me
• Sousane (6/5): Really nice location and room! - The location was amazing! The room was so pretty and the bed was very comfy! They were not ready on time for check in we had to wait about 40 minutes for our room, the bathroom tap was clogged, the shower was mostly clogged. They only gave us one towel for 3 nights and the people working at reception were less than willing to provide us with an extra towel during our stay. Had to go up to reception on the Monday morning (as cleaners don’t work weekends which makes it harder for reception staff to retrieve small things like towels.) Seems to be lack of communication with the staff and the providing company in the accommodation. Nonetheless I would still come back because of how nice the room and location was, definitely make sure you have everything when checking in though!

• Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing - Our toilet didn’t flush and it wasn’t resolved until a few hours before we had to leave. The entire stay we couldn’t use the bathroom properly and when we asked staff they were incredibly unhelpful and unwelcoming.
• Iona (1/5): SHOCKINGLY BAD- SCAM - Only location was good because it was convenient for the concert that I attended The room was very dirty. It had paint dust all over the floor, even the bedsheets felt that they had it. Extremely disappointed. My room was in a floor of ongoing construction which caused so much distress because of the noise. It should have been a warning before booking. The stuff extremely rude and unhelpful. Even more shocking to learn from the receptionist that because it is a weekend it means that no one is around an they cannot do anything about my dirty room. I will be looking forward to reporting the issue to the authorities
