• Megan (1/5): Horrible! Beware!! Do not stay!!! - Near beach Worth not staying… first off the demanding dialogue from the owner was extremely disappointing and not to be expected when staying in peaceful Thailand. The owner was not on premises and would not be there for a few days, making the check in process very stressful and difficult. She demanded paying the 8000 baht deposit for the room without be able to look at it first. I asked if I could leave USD, because I will be soon leaving and not be able to spend the 8000 baht before I go, but she refused. So I went in the rain to the nearest ATM to oblige her. I was ok paying an 8000 baht deposit but this is the most I have ever left at a stay. The full deposit was almost as much as the full amount of the stay. Traveling to Thailand quite often a deposit for the room or stay is to be expected but never once have I paid more than $100 USD for deposit even for a long stay. This lady is a complete scam. The deposit is for the use of power in the room, the charge is 10 baht per kilowatt average per day 200-500 baht per day. She made me face-time with her and started yelling at her staff and then raised her voice at me telling me not to listen to them but to walk over to the bungalow. Once in the bungalow she told me to take a picture of the power meter on the wall and got upset when I had a hard time understanding what she was asking and finding the meter. This incident was extremely uncomfortable and off putting. She then explained that I would be charged per kilowatt and pay at the end of the stay for all power use. Then told me to go in the bedroom and turn on the TV and that I would be charged if it stops working, also getting frustrated at me when I couldn’t turn on the TV because it was not plugged in. She is horrid at communicating and excessively disrespectful. I am shocked she can have a functional business. The poor Thai people that work for her are definitely earning some karma points. Yikes!

There are much better options in Phuket for this price. - Close proximity to the beach — though overcrowded The host charged me an excessive rate for electricity (something I’ve never experienced before on booking.com), deducting it from the security deposit. No bill or justification for the rate was provided. The only response I received was, ‘Our rules apply here; read the terms and conditions.’ The host, who lives next door, had the TV on loudly all the time.

• Geoffrey (2/5): Rude welcome - Proximity to the beach Rude women welcome , I never see that of my life 1 room smell like dust , need to be clean . 8000 deposits is not write clearly in the title Electricity need to be pay , 3 times the price of local price 10 per kWh instead of 3 This is first time I see that , and I have villas that I rent .
• Janno (9/5): Great place, high value for money - Cant believe the value we got for this price! We stayed here only for 3 days because i thought there must be something wrong, its too cheap, like 40 euro per night. But it was perfect, we loved the patio, sheltered from rain. The bedrooms with double beds were also great. And nicely decorated. Location lovely right in front of the beach. The host was also very friendly and helpful. Several restaurants just next door with high quality food. Totally recommend this place. 711 a 10 min walk, so that could be closer.
• Flavio (3/5): Moldy house and Sketchy host - the location of the apartment is 30meters from yanui beach, you can hear the waves from the room. very nice but unfortunately other factors relative to the ho st behaviour and the house itself won't make me choose this place again the host is an Ukrainian lady which manages 10 apartments in the same alley, all of them pretty old construction. In particular my apartment was the second one on the right side, smell of mold inside and humidity dont wanna imagine when it rains so on my opinion is not healthy to sleep there. old and dirty furniture. the behaviour of the host was pretty hostile and angry like if she was doing me a favour to let me stay there. there is hidden information on the description of the place relative to a cash deposit of 8000bath to be given at arrival and she wanted the electric consumption to be paid after finishing my stay , charged 10bath per kilowatt which is insane expensive. At the end of the stay she checked the house and assumed that I left a stain in the wall when that stain was there since forever due to the humidity and mold inside the apartment and also was hidden on purpose behind a sofa chair that she moved just in the moment to give back my deposit to show me and retain part of the money corresponding to the cost to repaint all the wall. location of the apartment is good but the apartment itself and the host which leaves in one of the apartments of the alley didn't make me enjoy my stay. not felt welcomed, not felt relaxed. even felt spied by the host to control.

• Angela (1/5): Dead smell - Absolutely nothing! We arrived at the property and the lady, owner of the property, was already moody and very rude. She started saying not to touch and damage anything wile we still had our backpack on. She started shouting at us for going inside with shoes on, without her telling us before that we needed to remove it. As soon as we got into the house, we could immediately sense that house had been closed and not took care of for quite some time: dust everywhere, rusty fans, all appliances off and dirty. We could smell something really strong coming from the fridge, after opening the fridge we felt sick like if a dead body was stored in it for at least 8 months (please see picture attached). The fridge was cover in mould! Absolutely disgusting. We paid for 2 night over 100£ plus over 200£ deposit, plus expenses (electricity). After 10 minutes being at the property, we realised that it was dangerous for our health, to spend more time in that place (being locked up in jail sounds like a better experience); so we call the lady back to explain politely the issue. The crazy, unstable and absolutely rude owner started screaming at us and told us that if we didn’t like the house we should leave and she wouldn’t give us any money back. We let the situation cool down because she was very rude and aggressive and 10 minutes later we left the apartment without our money back as we were afraid she would physically arm us. Please avoid this place if you want to be safe. This is a proper scam as she was not surprised of the outcome and she got 100£ doing absolutely nothing. Avoid Avoid Avoid!
• Moe (10/5): Awesome - Lovely stay at the bungalow, it is what you see in the pictures. The area is nice and relaxed. The host is awesome and attentive, she looked out for us when we needed assistance, and gave us great tips about the area. Deposit came back full after deducting electricity cost. All in all a great time!
• Mirza (4/5): Better to avoid this place. - Unexpected surprises as 8000 deposit and charging for electricity use. These were not advertised at the booking stage. Soap/shampoo not provided. Terrible rocky beach. Only three restaurants close early. Construction nearby was in progress - noise each day.
• Tatiana (10/5): Exceptional - Yanui beach is the most beautiful in Phuket. The bungalow where we lived is very close to the shore of this beach. The location is convenient. Not far from Nai Han Beach. He is also very good. After visiting many places in Phuket, I chose this place. The bungalow is comfortable, clean and pleasant. And most importantly, the price of a bungalow with two beds, a kitchen, a hall and a chic veranda is not at all expensive. The price of the bungalow does not include payment for electricity. And that's right. You will adjust how much you spend. These are places where you can stay with family and friends or just stay with you and enjoy your holiday. As for other beaches, there are not so many people here in the high season. There are good cafes from which you will always be satisfied 😉. Thanks to the hostess Lyudmila, she created a very pleasant atmosphere for relaxation 🌹
• Jenny (4/5): Should have stayed 2 nights, left after 1 - Phuket is lovely Restaurants were closed before 7.30pm. Nice but very crowded beach. Deposit 8000bht, only got 7000bht back. Charges extra for electricity and plugs in washmashin for everyone to use
