Denys (1/5): Overall could be a good stay, though lack of communication resulted in low rating - Central location. Welcome water and coffee. High ceilings what we liked about the apartment in terms of design. We stayed for 2 weeks, my wife and I plus my parents. 4 ppl total. It’s not a classic two-bedroom, there is no living room. First bedroom is larger and there is a table for 4 people. Though it’s not comfortable to hang out in someone’s bedroom. Also there is no wardrobe in it. Second bedroom has a wardrobe, though it lacks space. The kitchen is very small, hardly suitable for 1 person. The soundproof effect is non existent. We heard each and every person going in and out in the entire building. It’s ok during the day, though not very quiet at nights. The apartment is on the third floor with rough, old stairs. No lift. If you have someone with mobility issues in your group, it would be challenging for them. The apartment lacks of washing machine. I will attach the info about the nearest laundry (20 min on foot). Be ready to have cash (zloty) to use it. Our main concern was lack of communication. On our last day we were locked outside, because our door code was deactivated an hour prior to the stated check-out time. All our luggage, laptops, cameras and passports were in the apartment. The host did not picked up the phone, nor answered any of our messages via booking platform. Booking customer service was absolutely useless and left us stranded by the door with our flight back home just within hours. For those who can find themselves in a situation alike: your best option is neighbours across the stairwell. A very nice couple speaking English, they contacted the host via their own channel and the door code was reinstated to normal. The outcome: we never got a chance to communicate with a host and also no apology/compensation was ever offered.
