• Ebbi sailing (5/5): Man muss starke Nerven haben. - Die Lage und das gute Frühstück. Freundliches Personal. Es wird empfohlen, auch bei 2 Personen ein 3-Bett Zimmer zu nehmen, das bietet mehr Platz. Hotel im 3 Stock. Furchtbarer Zustand des Treppenhaus und des Eingangsbereich. Katastrophalen Zustand des Fahrstuhl, bei Regen musste er stillgelegt werden. Duschwasser schwer zu regulieren
• Ebbi sailing (7/5): - Freundliches und sympathisches Personal, vielfältiges Frühstück und gute Betten. Die zentrale Lage bedeutet auch, dass man viel vom hupenden Straßenverkehr hört. Personal und Manager informieren unterschiedlich, was zu sehr unangenehmen Situationen führen kann. Der antike, schöne Aufzug bringt einen nur bei trockener Luft in den 3. Stock.

Although we were guided to City View Palace Hotel, not the City View Cairo Hotel which we reserved (same owner), the communication was very smooth and it turned out to be a good stay for us. Nothing special, but if they could have tea/coffee maker as a standard service, it would be perfect. (We asked for an electric pot and cups and they provided them immediately.)
• Sabine (9/5): Wir haben uns in diesem einfachen, zentralen Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. - Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Die Lage ist bestens. Das Zimmer mit Balkon war sauber. Vor dem Hotel ist eine Baustelle, an der manchmal nachts gearbeitet wurde, was sehr laut war.

• HUI (3/5): 感觉是惯骗。 - 提前了2个多月预定的酒店，到酒店当天晚上被告知房间已经满了，没有房间了，非常奇怪的是打开当天的booking 显示还有房间，然后要把我们卖到其他酒店，他们口头说是同一个老板的酒店，但是名字和地址根本就不一样。凌晨半夜2点，2个女生在开罗街头找酒店也是非常恐怖的经历，还好我当时知道酒店位置在市中心，最后看到的酒店感觉很一般，但是由于已经凌晨2点了， 就只能让步接受了。他们在Booking上还提前2天扣费了，不知道为什么还是没有给我保留好房间。

• SEBASTIEN (9/5): Très bonne adresse - Chambres très propres, salle de bain spacieuse et literie ok. Le personnel est très agréable et toujours disponible. Plutôt bien placé! Petit dej’ salé très copieux Comme beaucoup d’endroits, le bâtiment est en travaux. Du coup cela peut faire peur lorsque l’on arrive et surtout cela impacte que nous n’avons pas eu la possibilité d’ouvrir les fenêtres et d’aller sur le balcon car il y avait un échafaudage. Mais en soit nous n’avions pas prévu d’y passer du temps, et l’important était que la chambre soit nickel ce qui était le cas.

• arun (9/5): - This hotel is a fantastic find in the heart of Cairo, offering incredible value and a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. While the building itself is classic and "vintage," the interiors have been recently renovated, meaning the rooms and bathrooms are fresh, clean, and up-to-date. The old-fashioned elevator might look like an antique, but it works perfectly and adds a fun, nostalgic touch to the experience! We also really enjoyed the good, simple breakfast provided for free each morning. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the wonderful hospitality; Ali, Ahmed, Adham, and Maayi were all exceptionally helpful and made us feel right at home.

• ARIS (10/5): My most splendid trip of my life - Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να ανταποκριθεί σε κάθε ανάγκη . Το πρωινό πολύ καλό καλό και πλούσιο . Βρίσκεται περίπου στο κέντρο της πόλης του καιρού με όλα τα μαγαζιά για κάθε εξυπηρέτηση . Βρίσκεται κοντά στο μετρό ( 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια) Mohamand Naquib . Και από εκεί εύκολα πηγαίνεις στο GEM, στις πυραμίδες , στη Νεκρόπολη. Το δωμάτιο της διαμονής μου από κάθε άποψη έχει ευρωπαϊκό χαρακτήρα. Βέβαια η πόλη του Καιρου, δεν είναι όπως οι άλλες ευρωπαϊκές πόλεις. Για αυτό το λόγο το πολιτισμικό υπόβαθρο της πολης , το περιβάλλον , και γενικά η διαμονή των κατοίκων εδώ είναι διαφορετική και αρκετά δύσκολη.
• PANAGIOTIS (7/5): Ευγενικό προσωπικό, καλό πρωινό. - Κεντρική τοποθεσία, καθαρό δωμάτιο, το ξενοδοχείο μύριζε φρεσκάδα. Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό, εξυπηρετικό και πάντα χαμογελαστό…Το πρωινό ήταν πολύ νόστιμο, πάντα φρεσκομαγειρεμένο και με ποικιλία. Δυσκολευτήκαμε πολύ να το βρούμε, ο οδηγός του ταξί τους κάλεσε 2/3 φορές για να μπορέσει να το βρει. Δεν υπάρχει ταμπέλα με το όνομα. Είναι στον τρίτο όροφο ενός υπό ανακαίνιση πολύ παλιού κτιρίου σε έναν υπό κατασκευή δρόμο. Όταν τελικά βρήκαμε το ξενοδοχείο τρομάξαμε με την εικόνα εγκατάλειψης που επικρατούσε στην είσοδο. Σκοτεινή, βρώμικη τίποτα δεν θύμιζε ξενοδοχείο, ούτε τις φωτογραφίες που υπάρχουν στην booking. Φοβηθήκαμε πως είχαμε πέσει θύματα απάτης. Το ασανσέρ παμπάλαιο, ετοιμόρροπο, φοβάσαι να μπεις μέσα. Όταν πια φτάνεις στον τρίτο όροφο που βρίσκεται το ξενοδοχείο όλα αλλάζουν. Όλα λάμπουν από καθαριότητα, μοσχοβολάνε και το προσωπικό σε αποζημιώνει με την ευγενειά του. Το wi-fi πολύ αργό όπως παντού στην Αίγυπτο. Το χαρτί υγείας έπρεπε να το ζητάμε κάθε μέρα. Τα tour και οι μεταφορές που προσφέρουν πολύ ακριβά
• Abdulla (9/5): بصوره عامه الفندق نظيف وجميل وموقعه جميل وقريب من كل شي..ولايمنع ان اعاود السكن فيه مره اخرى. - Breakfast, nice staff and clean room الشارع بالخارج غير مرصوف والترميم بالمبنى مسبب ازعاج خفيف..المكيف في غرفتي لم يكن بارداً كفايه..الانترنت لم يكن جيداً..الاصنصير يحتاج ان يكون احدث واكبر حجماً.
• Selma (8/5): Pleasent stay and nice staff. - Staff is excelent. Jung and very generous people. Clean room, quite of space. Located in downtown, uber and bolt very efficient offering good prices. The room practicaly had no windows, only a small one . I had double room,maybe other rooms have windows.
• Lena (5/5): Très bon emplacement, - La gentillesse du personnel L’eau était brûlante, salle de bain qui fuit, pas de quoi poser les affaires, le 3eme lit est un lit de camp.

• Bilal (3/5): جيد لكن حتى انتهاء اعمال الحفريات والصيانة التي اظن انها سوف تستمر لفترة طويلة - الموظفون ودودون وصلت مساء متعب لاستلم غرفتي وقال لي انه يوجد شخص امريكي لم يخرج من الفندق بعد وارسلني لمدة ليلة لفندق اخر ثم العودة وكان هذا امر مزعج ومتعب وبه مضيعة للوقت .. يوجد حفريات بشارع الفندق وحفريات امام الفندق تستمر حتى 5 بعد منتصف الليل ونوافذ الغرفة قديمة جدا لا تعزل الصوت لذالك لم استطيع النوم بشكل جيد طيلة فترة اقامتي والبناء من الخارج يتم ترميمه الان مما يعني ليس وقت مناسب لزيارة الفندق الان حتى انتهاء الاعمال

The location is great (right now the street in front of the hotel is under construction, but that does not imply any bigger issues), the room and the bathroom were very clean and well-equipped. No problems with the Wi-Fi, toiletries or anything like that. The breakfast is very good, actually, it was definitely too much for me, so I asked the lovely staff to give me smaller portions and they were always kind and helpful. I would also want to help you the staff at the reception as they were always supportive and helpful when I had problems with taxis :) The sink in my room got clogged easily, so the water drained slowly – this should be repaired. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

• Alaitz Rpll (9/5): Buen hotel en Cairo - El hotel está muy bien situado. Son amables y el desayuno estaba bueno. Camas cómodas y habitación grande. Las calles paralelas no son grandes y eso hace que sea más tranquilo todo dentro del caos de Cairo. Están de obras en las fachadas como dicen en otros comentarios. El hotel está muy bien pero a nosotros nos hicieron un feo al llegar. Después de escanear los pasaportes nos dijeron que no nos podíamos quedar allí la primera noche debido a las obras (pues pienso yo que no tendrían que ofrecerlo en Booking pues...) y nos llevaron a otro hotel. Un "upgrade" que no era. La segunda noche nos dijeron que podíamos dormir allí de vuelta, que era mejor.

La habitación es moderna, recien remodelada con un baño de primera; la regadera con una presión excelente. Elevador antiguo y funcional. El desayuno podria servirse un poco más temprano.
