- Jeffrey (1/5): I will never stay here again - location people in attached room cooked fish and smell made room almost unbearable. People on balconies smoked pot constantly so we could not open door. Hotel said they would move us but never followed through. All the sheets had blood stains
- Sandra (4/5): One inconvenience after the next and will not stay again - Location Room I paid for and reserved not available, elevator out of service and we were on the fifth floor, rooms were run down. Peeling wallpaper and black mold under it. No parking.
- Gerald (10/5): - Property is in perfect location with good views at affordable prices
- mcgougan (8/5): - I like the price and location. The parking, the overflow lot was gated and pad locked, if you need to park you had to come to the front desk and ask them to unlock it.
- Jasimine (10/5): I enjoyed my Baecation . - Beds are very comfortable, the view is amazing on the balcony. The only thing I didn’t like was the property don’t have breakfast included .
- michelle (10/5): -
- Coburn (4/5): I would pay a little more and get a nicer hotel. - The only good thing about this hotel is the overall location. It has very easy beach access. I guess the fact that I could get connecting rooms was ok too. We were not told about any breakfast options. The rooms were old and out dated. The toilet seat was not attached in one of the rooms. Additionally the staff on the day of our checkout was rude and unattentively. Parking is terrible and half of the parking garage was full of junk and was not even open.
- desire (1/5): I booked this hotel for Mother’s Day expecting a relaxing stay, but it turned into a complete nightmare. The hotel liste - I booked this hotel for Mother’s Day expecting a relaxing stay, but it turned into a complete nightmare. The hotel listed rooms on Booking.com that apparently don’t even exist at their property. I drove all the way to Virginia Beach before being told my reserved room was not available.
What makes this even worse is that they waited until I arrived to tell me instead of notifying me beforehand. After ruining my plans, they also refused to refund my money. Completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.
False advertising rooms you cannot provide and then keeping customers’ money is terrible business practice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you’re booking for an important occasion or traveling from out of town. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere else. - Tracy (7/5): - Location was wonderful. No ice available in the entire hotel. Pool wasn't open.
- Ayscue (10/5): -
- Calvin (5/5): Reviews of this hotel over rated - Staff on Day staff , wish I had gotten his name. He was not the person who checked us in. Rooms need to be updated and repairs made.
- Anthony (10/5): - Osmar was very friendly and very helpful during our stay.
- Amanda (10/5): -
- JON (1/5): Not impressive - Beachfront They advertised free parking but it is not free. Stains on walls. Asked for towels and soap and they never arrived before check out. Outdated and dirty for the cost.
- thomas (7/5): Over all was good. But I might look at some other hotels next time. - We had a suite it was very nice and roomy. I would recommend the suite to anyone. No breakfast of any kind offer. No lower access to the beach always had to go down a ramp. If you are not a young person could be tiring. The safes in the room cost extra money. Thought that should be included with the room.
- Emsad (8/5): Ok - Ok Ok
- Roxcine (7/5): -
- Luis D (9/5): En resumen me gusto todo, la ubicación es de las mejores. - El personal amable, la Ubicación perfecta. Todo estuvo muy bien.
- Eric (5/5): - Nice Place great view Elevator Would not come to the 5th Floor had to use the stairs repeatedly
- Michael (6/5): - the bed is very comfortable and the view of the ocean was amazing. no cold water from the bathroom faucet, only hot and luke warm. the spa tub was very small even for one person.
- Kimberly Vanesa (10/5): - Me gusto mucho su ubicacion No había desayuno
- Brian (7/5): -
- BANTIHUN (10/5): It was good largely except the TV - The TV is small and
was not working TV

- Kevin (8/5): -
- Andy (10/5): Staff was great absolutely fantastic location I will be back - Everything worked perfectly very clean in the room ac and heat worked very well. Parking was a little difficult I had to move my car because of break in s
- Francis (6/5): - The ocean The pool was not opened
- Roberta (8/5): The stay itself was good - The room itself The housekeeper lied about cleaning before I left i took everything off both beds she made one bed and lied about the other bed saying I had clothes spread out on the bed that was a lie so she didn't make it saying she couldn't touch my belongings I had one bag with all my underwear and bras in it she went in my bag plus she went in my husband bag she also moved my medication she touched things I had in the bathroom because she clean the bath room and the head lady for housekeeper came in with her and said she's the best assistant housekeeper I have and they was trying to get off work well she lied about not touching our things my husband said she took something small that belongs to him but it can be replaced we felt violated
- Tom (1/5): Worst #$%$#$%^ experience I have EVER had in any hotel I have ever stayed in!! - The only good thing was the view. The air conditioner worked. First the pool that was supposed to be heated was broken and cold as ice. We were assured before we booked that the pool was working fine. The smell of people smoking pot in the hotel was everywhere, in the elevators and coming from the other guests rooms. We couldn't even sit on the balcony and enjoy the view because of other guests on the second floor smoking pot and the smoke came directly up to our balcony. They also were supposed to have complimentary bikes as listed on their website, but we were informed that had stopped in 2021 due to covid. This is false advertising and I feel like I was ripped off. The hallways were not air conditioned and hot as hell.
- Gregg (8/5): Excellent location and comfortable - Excellent location , needs updating but was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again! Rooms need updates
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Randy (1/5): I was never offered another room very poor communication. They want the money but does not give you - The view the boardwalk The room was poorly, clean, bedbugs, terrible odor of rotten fish, refrigerator smelt of outrageous bacteria
- Kim (4/5): Staff members awesome, however property is very old and out dated. - Location Old out dated, no breakfast offer, pool small, crammed parking , and no front entrance. Photos of property didn’t match the actual property.
- Christopher (7/5): -
- Marsha (9/5): - Location is great, Open the coffee bar at the entrance for the people staying. A morning donut or cookie would be nice. The creamer in the room isn't great.
Don't say that there's two beach towels that you are responsible for or you will be charged when there's only one. Happened last year and again this year so I don't think that it's a fluke.
- Barnes (10/5): -
- Rodima (7/5): -
- Amanda (7/5): -
- Cecil (10/5): -
- Dayna (5/5): it was ok - close to the beach no continental breakfast, no bikes to ride
- Copper (9/5): - Was comfortable Not having breakfast at motel
- L. Ambrose (8/5): Nice Getaway - The location was perfect with a great view. Very nice area and quiet. Rooms were a little outdated, but the size was good. We did not have a coffee pot and it took several requests and hours to finally get one. Of course, the pot smell was overwhelming inside the hotel and outside.
- Angelia (4/5): It was decent no roaches in this room - No breakfast Accommodations coffee in room no coffee pot furniture was old No breakfast coffee in room no coffee pot ,furniture was old when it rained it leaked through the kitchen window your bldg needs SERIOUS UP GRADES!!!
- Vickers (9/5): Perfect for our night out! I live that all rooms have a balcony. Better toiletries and pillows. - I just wish the beds, specially the pillows, were more comfortable. pillows, toiletries
- Buffy (7/5): - Location excellent Kitchen coukd use updated
Tv could been bigger
Upgrade walls
- Cynthia (6/5): -
- Nanette (6/5): -
- Charles (8/5): -
- Josh (9/5): -
- Joseph (10/5): So clean - This was possibly the cleanest oceanfront hotel that I have stayed in. No breakfast.
- Zachari (10/5): -
- Maureen Elias (8/5): Would stay again. - The size of the room, the beds were comfortable, the view was amazing, location to the beach was perfect, staff friendly, ample free parking on site, the pool was clean but cold. getting to the beach was confusing from the hotel, the pool was too cold to swim in, the hotel was dated.
- Cynthia (1/5): Shitty - In the middle of everything I had clothes come up missing from my room and the staff always seemed to give a run around. I lost $80 worth without a care from them. The floor above leaked into my room.
- Whitney (10/5): It was excellent - The view of the beach in the selection of shops and places to eat around there would highly recommend and will be staying again
- Mary (8/5): - Was close to pier, and the room was clean and comfortable. I wish they had more than just coffee at breakfast time. Some more options would have been nice.
- roger (8/5): - We love the view, and the balcony, and the jacuzzi in the room and definitely the location, and the little festival that was going on, Staffvery helpful. The room was pretty small, hallway was not air-conditioning,the vending machine, only had two rows that worked, and then the items we wanted naturally we're on the rows that didn't work.
- Luis (6/5): -
- uvaldo (10/5): -
- G (3/5): What a dump - Great location, clean room, comfortable bed. Refrigerator and microwave. The name Resort is a joke. The rest of the place is a dump. Disinterested front desk staff. Front desk phone was out of order. Ugly 1980s wallpaper. Water stains on the ceiling. Peeling wallpaper. Cheap plastic patio furniture. No continental breakfast. The price was ridiculous for this facility, but inflated due to the waterfront festival.
- James (10/5): - Location beachfront The restaurant was too expensive
- Tamisha (6/5): -
- Craig (4/5): Great location, below average accommodation. - Location Unfortunately the property has new owners since we last stayed there 3-4 years ago. Staff wasn’t as accommodating, lighting at night and door security poor. Homeless person staying in the emergency exit egress doorway at night. One ice machine working for entire building. The new owner did away with the free bicycle use.
- Gabriel (8/5): -
- Sutherland (8/5): Beachfront. Clean. Good price. - Beachfront. Balcony. Clean room. Comfortable beds Pool wasnt heated. Was told differing things thru the week. Was never heated
- Stephanie (6/5): - Not what I expected I was kind of out dated
- Buck (8/5): Great stay - Everything was clean and the few issues we had were addressed quickly. N/A
- Davey N (2/5): If you don’t mind roaches then you will be ok to stay here. - Good location. Maids cleaned well. CON: COCKROACHES. We checked out early and they did refund the nights left. If they would take care of that and update would be a better place to stay
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great. Bed was comfortable and room size was really nice The hot tub was really small. Not big enough for 2 people. Kitchen area not stocked at all so had to go get cups plates utensils.
- Halverson (2/5): For 80 bucks it’s a winner not 200 - The manager on duty let me in early. It is completely outdated my sheets and blankets weren’t even clean while I should say they were stained. There was barely any water pressure and it looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1992. It smelled of marijuana and there was noise throughout my floor and I had the King suite.
- Carolina (10/5): Estoy con ganas de regresar nuevamente - Me encantó muy excelente servicio una avitacion limpia acogedora y muy buena vista al mar me boy feliz Excelente todo
- mariliana (8/5): -
- Marlon (3/5): When we arrived very late, due to travel delays, we were told that the one elevator was broken and had to walk up eight - The room itself was clean and bed was comfortable. No Smart TV in room. Only one elevator and building is outdated. No laundry room, and room in lobby where coffee is set up was unkept.
- Ben (8/5): -
- WILBER (10/5): -
- LaVetta (7/5): -
- Jeremy (8/5): Very relaxing getaway for me & my husband - The location was absolutely great Well the air conditioning in the room was not the best, we had it set at 62 degrees but still wasn’t cool at all. So we walk down to Walgreens & bought a fan
- Daniel (6/5): Decent hotel if you get a good price location is perfect - Close to beach mid strip Old hasn’t been updated. Clean but not well maintained no ac in hallways. Overpriced
- R.l. (6/5): -
- R.l. (6/5): Stay was ok to much for quality - Was right on beach The elevator broke had to take stairs a few times
- Cara (6/5): Good location, needs some upgrades. - The property itself wasn’t terrible for the price. The room was clean and the location is great. It’s within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. The parking lot is a little odd, but I didn’t have a problem getting a spot. There is additional parking in a garage below the main parking lot. The pool was nice but small. Balcony was nice and had outdoor furniture. Bed was comfy enough. The staff were okay, but not great. We called for linens one night after a toddler mishap and never received them. I finally went down to the desk and the guy acted like he didn’t know what I was talking about. He went and got linens for me but they weren’t even the right size. The pool was small but nice for the most part. It was FREEZING though. The first day was good but the heater was either turned off or quit working. When I asked the front desk if they’ll pool was supposed to be heated (because that’s what it says on their website) she said no it’s not heated. I told her I literally felt the heated water coming from the heaters on the floor of the pool the first day and she argued and said it’s not heated and there must have been something wrong with the pool.

- Jennifer (7/5): Good for an overnight couples stay, but not the best choice for everyone. - For just my husband and I for one night, it was a good choice. It was the least expensive of the oceanfront view rooms for Labor Day weekend, and so there were some drawbacks. But, the room overall was clean, the hotel hall was clean enough, it was quiet inside the room (didn't hear much outside), the elevator worked fine, everything in the room (e.g. TV, coffee pot) worked, and by far the biggest-and most pleasant-surprise was the beds were extremely comfortable (not new-you could tell by the way you sunk in spots people would lie on, but still plush) and the linens were clean. Tons of stuff around the area, including the pier and amusement park. Loved the 11 am checkout time (many others have a 10:00 time). The amenities were poor-bad coffee (and only pack of sugar/etc per person instead of at least 2), a small outdoor swimming pool (was very clean), and nothing else. As a result, I would not have been happy here if we had brought my son and stayed longer (we stayed one night to see a nearby concert for my birthday gift). If you're looking for a quiet spot of the boardwalk, this is not it. Nothing was awful, but it is probably the busiest spot on the oceanfront (my advice is heading down toward 1st-5th street for a less busy stay, maybe the northern side if you have the money). As I said, the room was nicely sound-proofed, but you will see a lot of people out and about here, even late at night. No breakfast options, and I did not see a food vending machine on our floor (soda machine though). Also, the first staff member we came across at the desk wasn't rude, but didn't seem happy to be there. We tried to check in early, something I've been able to do at every other hotel there, but she said we had to wait until 4:00 without checking if a room was ready or not (the rest of the staff we encountered were much more happy and polite). We were able to park. The parking was extremely tight and the entry way in was incredibly awkward and easy to miss. The shower pressure could have been better for a place where people are trying to get sand out of everywhere. The towels were rough.
- Jlucas (9/5): -
- Franklin (6/5): - Hallways hotter than the outside.
- Catherine (8/5): Book it - Location and staff excellent! Bed was a little high.
- Autumn (6/5): -
- rafael (6/5): We stayed on the 9th floor, where there were only 3 rooms . The rooms were updated, did not match the rest of the facili - On the board walk Needs to be updated .
- Pamela (8/5): -
- Hurd (9/5): - We stayed at the breakers before and overall it was great just like the last time we stayed. The only thing that was a concern was the railing on the balcony in room 808 on the right hand side was loose and being nine stories in the air a little of a concern. Spoke with the staff at the desk and was assured that the issue was reported up the chain of command. And I have faith that it was. But just in case I'm advising now. But we will stay at the breakers again. Have a good off season will see you next year.
- Norton (8/5): -
- Luz (8/5): -
- Dustin (5/5): Alright - Good location The balconies had locks but all you have to do is open the door and it unlocks itself not very safe for children and the bathroom faucet broke the first night went to brush my teeth and it just feel apart from rust told front desk and it was still broke a week later when we left. So my advice stay away I won’t be going back.
- Yaneth (9/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Susan (7/5): We enjoyed our stay but would have been better with a larger pool. - Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. The pool was very small and not cleaned as often as it should be. At the time of our visit, due to health reasons, I couldn't swim in the ocean so the pool was a big deal to me. Could not enjoy the pool with 7 other guest in the pool at the same time. No space to move.
