Guest Reviews
- krishna (9/5): BRILLIANT, great position, space, all the ammeineties and above all superb value for money. Loved it - Prior to arrival , there was great communications and useful information on what is about. Was met by Niccolo around midnight (Thank you for that) owing to it being the last flight in by KLM so didn’t really see much of the surrounding area. We were left to navigate around the apartment and the booklet helped but wasn’t much we needed and was told, leave the keys in the dish, shut the door and go on our day of departure. Shower was good, bathroom was good, rooms clean the double glazing was needed and cut out 90% of all the noise. Worth every euro, And there's a restaurant with good food, next door and a great little supermarket opposite the front door ( best price for gastronomy and basics) , 300m away is the Central Market if you want specialist traditional food, wine and ingredients. INTERNET, was in and out and somehow I couldn’t connect my laptop only my phone, the info booklet needs updating as the internet mentioned doesn't exist and is another system and password,
It is a literal stone's throw from Duomo so central and in a busy street which is very noisy before 6am ( thank goodness for the double glazing) but open the windows and get the full magnificence of the church bells and Florence hub bub great , also there are no longer hungry mosquitoes in the apartment.
- Ryan (5/5): Good location outweighed by noise and lack of updated amenities. - Great location. Two blocks from the Duomo. You hear everything on the street below. People noise until 1:00am and then starts back up at 7:00am when businesses prep for opening and the bells of the duomo start ringing. No Internet access our entire stay. TV remote didn’t work most of the time. Heavy smell of smoke from neighbors one of the days. Shower is small and beds are small. Furniture coverings are old and dusty.
- martin (10/5): A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Brunelleschi – Highly Recommended! - A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Brunelleschi – Highly Recommended!
My recent stay at Brunelleschi in Florence was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was immersed in a perfect blend of history, and warm Italian hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Florence, just steps away from the Duomo and other iconic landmarks, the location couldn’t be more ideal for exploring the city.
The Brunelleschi itself is a masterpiece—elegantly restored with a rich historical charm, including its unique setting within a medieval church and Byzantine tower. The apartment is beautifully arranged, combining classic Florentine style with modern comforts. Brunelleschi was quiet, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views steps away from the city center.
What truly sets Brunelleschi apart is the exceptional service. Zac was professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable.
Whether you're visiting Florence for the first time or returning to soak in its timeless beauty, I wholeheartedly recommend Brunelleschi to everyone. It’s a place where history meets elegance, and every moment feels special. Everything was great.
- Kulachet (9/5): Superb - Easy to enjoy the city centre. Superb location. If you have to visit in summer, the small room does not have AC, it's very hot.
- Galli (10/5): fantastico - The apartment is located in the very center of Florence, near to landmarks, restaurants, fashion shops.
Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works right. All fine.
- Kay (7/5): Very central and convenient - Very clean The stairs
- Megan (7/5): Ideal for short stay - Location is perfect Quite noisy
- Jiaqi (10/5): Definitively take this apartment visiting Florence again - little charm next to church, clean, well equipped, most important super friendly and informative staff. He introduced us restaurants which are all amazing and tasty, detail travel tips. Nothing
- Kelly (10/5): Would stay there again - Location. Plenty of space. Stairs. Needs a couch in living room.
- Toni (8/5): Very good -
- Jose (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashby (9/5): Superb -
- Tobias (3/5): Poor - The location was great and everything that was needed was available. The noise is horrible. Even though they have new windows, the walls are old and let all the sound through.
There is noise on the streets u untill 1 am. But the real problem started at 5 AM on monday when they were unloading trucks for the supermarket across the street. On tuesday the noise started at 6 AM.
For such a high price a good night rest would have been nice.
- Debra (10/5): Our stay was well above our expectations. I definitely plan on staying here again!! - The apartment was awesome!! It was in a wonderful location very convenient to shopping and sightseeing.
It was extremely clean and very comfortable. I traveled with a friend so we each had our own room.
I really loved being able to open the windows and feeling like I was part of Florence. It was a little bit warm since there were no air conditioners but the fans were sufficient.
- Victoria (10/5): Beautiful views of Italian life - Oh my GOODNESS!!! What a piece of heaven!!! The location was absolutely amazing. There are 4 flights of stairs to the room but I was so grateful because that meant I had a beautiful view of the street in Florence. Bathroom is pretty good size compared to other places I’ve stayed. Wi-Fi was good too! :-) I told the host it was my fiancé and I and he pushed the beds together for us which was super nice. We loved sleeping with the windows open to hear the nightlife. It was soothing to us! Nothing!
- Joanna (8/5): A very nice apartment, great staff, pity no air con - Spacious, great location, very nice staff No air conditioning, only fans during a heat wave - so there was no relief from the heat of the day seeing the sights
- Beverly (9/5): Spacious central apartment - Very spacious and clean with big living area and two separate bedrooms, comfortable beds. Central location, two minutes walk to the Duomo, 15 minutes to the Ponte Vecchio, 15 minutes to the train station, and tram direct from the airport. Great communication (in English) from the host. The weather was extremely hot and there's no aircon due to the age of the building, but the fans helped at night. A bit tricky not having a kettle and using the cooker.
- Madelyn (9/5): Great location in the heart of Firenze - Great location and very spacious accommodation. If you want to walk everywhere and explore the city by foot this is the place to stay. The host was very helpful over the phone and provided easy check-in. The only down fall was it didn’t have air conditioning but they did provide 2 fans so we were okay.
- Monica (9/5): Florentine Life....Location, Location, Location - Location, Location, Location! The apartment is around the corner from the Duomo, the Medici Castle and museums, The Central Market. Every sight and restaurant is within 10 minutes of walking distance. Directly across the street, steps away, is a fantastic grocery store which is super convenient! It is where all the action is in the heart and center of Florence. The apartment overlooked the street and you can lean out the window from 3 floors and look out the huge windows that open to the activity. It is Florentine charm with high ceilings, spacious long foyer leading a large bedroom with good sized bed and a smaller bedroom, expansive living room, small efficiency kitchen and bathroom. There were Italian coffee pots and coffee, sugar, bottled water and drinks provided when we arrived which was a nice touch. We ran late and were not able to meet with the person to check in but they sent us detailed pictures of lock box procedure. When we arrived, we had questions and they answered our questions in minutes and were very helpful. The things to be aware of are 3 flights of steps to the apartment, no air conditioning, although it stayed cool and very quiet when the windows are closed, due to the massive thick walls, large open windows in all the rooms and 2 fans provided-it was May though and the temperature was lovely. The kitchen and bathroom are typical old Florence style, although clean they are old world, yet adequate. Do not expect modern, this is Italy and this is a typical Italian apartment. Not much furniture in the living room but enough for 2 of us, 2 chairs and round dining table and 4 chairs. Wifi was good. There is a tax in Florence 5.5 Euro per person per night and 40 Euro cleaning fee, to be paid in cash Euros. Not a problem but be aware of the added expense, they informed us well ahead of time of this fee and we were prepared. The location and the positive aspects made up for these things.
- Sophia (8/5): Very good -
- Bi (7/5): Good - The location was perfect, very central and close to all the sites. The apartment had everything we needed, including a cot for our little one. The bedroom smelt of cigarettes
- Wombat (10/5): Exceptional - Centre of everything! Easy to walk everywhere and only 10minutes walk from railway station. Nicco very responsive and Massimo gave us good places to go where the locals go for market. !
- Andrew (8/5): Traditional apartment in great location - Good location and comfortable, well decorated traditional furnishings Only one pillow on single bed. Noisy in early morning due proximity of shops
- Mandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmadzada (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ramona (10/5): We wete very happy to have choosen this accomodation. The location is very good, the bus station is almost in front of t - very well equiped, good location, fantastic host
