Roberta (5/5): Extra charges involved - Pay attention - Host is very helpful. He replies immediately and tries to solve the problems that his agent creates. It appears that the host is represented by an agent who encouraged additional charges for various amenities. We had paid the full price as listed on Booking.com, and there was no mention that the use of the electric vehicle charging station would incur an extra fee, nor that it would be restricted to daytime use. This was quite inconvenient, especially considering that tourists are typically out exploring during the day and not charging their car! Moreover, we have never encountered such problems before with any other hosts. We had always used such services free of charge. Furthermore, it is also difficult to access the parking area, as the drive in wasn't yet ready. Unfortunately, this led to damage to one of our car’s tyres and the rim, which was quite frustrating. Additionally, we were informed during our stay that advance notice was required to use the indoor jacuzzi, as the host needed to make certain adjustments beforehand. This was not indicated in the listing and would have been useful to know in advance.
Christian (7/5): Very comfortable stay in a beautiful house with breathtaking surroundings. - The property itself and its location is amazing. The space and furnishing of the property is very nice and the EV charger was very convenient for me. Being able to park my car inside the property was a great peace of mind. Our host Davide was very helpful whenever we needed him. The storage space in the property is amazing, the sofa is super comfy, the 77 inch TV is beautiful, the area feels very safe to live in and the outdoor area of the property is quite big. The view from outside the balcony is breathtaking... its right in front of the beautiful mount Etna. At first we were communicating with an agent who handles this property and not the actual host and some things were not clear from the start even if I was asking about specific things in the property, the info was not communicated correctly. We were not told that the property is not yet finished, we were not told that the host will be living with us (even if he was not invasive at all), we were not told that using the EV charger will cost us €20 a day, we were not told that we had to pay an additional €30 for every time we use the indoor jacuzzi and the indoor temperature during a very hot summer period, in my honest opinion, was not the best as it was still warm inside.
