- David (10/5): A delightful boutique hotel - We stayed at the Hotel Vintage Tokyo Meguro Fudomae for two nights toward the end of April on the front-end of a 16-day trip to Japan. Large comfortable room, very clean and staff was super friendly and helpful. Situated in a nice neighborhood not too far from the Fudomae subway station. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, featured a fresh pastry, coffee, soup and a salad. Everything was delicious, but we especially enjoyed the homemade soup we selected. Would definitely recommend. We found opening the curtains in the room to let in the light a bit tricky, though doable.

- Samuel (9/5): A lovely little hotel in a relaxed area. - After staying elsewhere in Tokyo, this hotel was a welcome change and in a more relaxed area. The staff were very helpful! Nothing!

- Irma (10/5): - Een modern schoon hotel. Kamers zijn niet heel groot. De locatie is vlakbij het shimabasi station. Allemaal leuke eettentjes in de buurt. Goed ontbijt en een redelijke prijs. Zou zeker terug komen hier. Niets

- Catherene (9/5): - I was stranded in the plane due to a storm without any way to inform them that I can’t make my already difficult request of a 12am arrival. Not only did the staff accept the initial request, they also waited for my arrival even though I could only get there at 3am due to the storm. They were super understanding of the situation. The room was also extremely spacious for the price and I’m a lover of spacious rooms. It felt like a deluxe stay. Beautiful furnishing & made for such a peaceful stay. Super close to the convenience store and the cafe was gorgeous on its own!

- Pierre-Olivier (6/5): - Nice concept Why do they give more advantages to someone who stay one night than to those who stay one week?
1- new bed linen
2-full cleaning
3-two doses of filter coffee
Not logical.
One more thing: a light breakfast is needed for resident! Light means not only with bread or pastries!
- hikari (10/5): -
- Pobpim (9/5): Superb -
- Courtney (10/5): Very pleasant, room was lovely and comfortable. - Clean and well kept, felt safe being there Nothing. Just was in a quite area so we had to do a bit of travel to and from our stay to get to things we wanted to see/do
- Mardiastuti (8/5): Very good -
- Natasha (8/5): Felt at Home - Beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. We felt immediately at home and at peace here. Location is great and within a very interesting and central neighbourhood. It probably pays to know a little Japanese when ordering at the cafe. They got our order wrong three times due to language barriers and only refunded a small portion. Cafe is expensive in comparison to other places and the coffee is not great.
- Lian (6/5): Pleasant - Staff were very pleasant and friendly. The bedsheets had a sour smell, and one bad thing was that there was no sink near the toilet, only one in the shower.
- Dayaneth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chu (10/5): Exceptional - The space, the bed, the overall ambience None because it was really that good
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Kei (7/5): Great location, no lobby for guests if cafe and bakery Closed. - We enjoyed the hotel room with nice minimal design as well as the location and great to have a cafe, bakery in the lobby but there was no place for hotel guests to lounge outside of the hotel rooms as the cafe and bakery shut off the seating areas when they were closed. Leaving us without a lobby or places to just sit and lounge. There's a vast park nearby that allows for long walks in nature. There's a convenient store across the street open 24/7 which is great to grab coffee and bites to eat. Bus station in front that takes you to Ebisu or Shibuya. Best to walk to Meguro station and hop on train there to get there faster. Would've been better if hotel guests were allowed to use the seating areas before bakery/cafe opening since there were no place for hotel guests to lounge outside of the hotel rooms. The cafe and bakery opens at 7a? closes at 4p? At this time they shut off the seating areas when they were closed. Leaving guests without a lobby or places to just sit and lounge.
- Jamie (7/5): Comfortable stay with a bit of a hard time getting inside - Clean and stylish. Very spacious Check in area is way too small. Hard to move around and carry luggage through a PACKED cafe
- Lucy (10/5): Excellent new hotel close to Fudomae backstreets - Clean and large room for Tokyo. Very kind and helpful staff. Bakery in reception. Nothing- all great.
- Congyou (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ji (8/5): Very good -
- Wariya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joy (8/5): It was lovely! - Most of the staff ar very nice. Esp the tall guy -
Forgot to ask for his name. He is so helpful and very accomodating.
The pastry, coffee and food at the ordy cafe are really good. Which explains the long line every morning. A little walk to the train station. The entrance could get wet when it’s raining which I think they need to do something about it. The line at the cafe makes fhe entrance a little crowded at times.
- Phyllis (8/5): Very good -
- Chenyang (7/5): Short stay maybe okay. Long stay perhaps no. I would try to look for others. - Location: This is the best part. 10-15 mins walk from Furomae station. It’s easy to go to all the shopping districts. There is a small uphill when you go to the hotel from the train station but it is a pleasant walk.
Room size: It is very big compared to the same level of hotels I stayed before in Tokyo.
Newness: As it is newly opened this month, the facility remains the good quality and maintenance. Cleaning: I am not sure the cleaning service is good for a hotel just opened for less than a month. We had very minor cleaning in 5 continuous nights. They never cleaned the bed and refilled the tissues, water & toilet papers. If you look for longer stay in Tokyo and concern about the hygiene. I really don’t recommend. And if this hotel is qualified as 3 starred, I would think it’s overrated compared to same levels in Tokyo.
Design of the room: I can see the overall design is nice and stylish. But so many design are missing to be designed to enhance the level of customer experience.
1. No hanging hook in the bathroom to hang anything.
2. No light switch control near the bed side.
3. Washing sink countertop is way too small for the towel basket.
Front Desk Location: Situated next to the busy bakery shop’s cashier, it creates even more traffics because the bakery shop always has a long lines.
- Hans-ulrich (8/5): Very good - T the bakery downstairs is the best !
