From the moment I arrived, I was embraced by a sense of calm and genuine hospitality. The atmosphere is quietly luxurious without being pretentious—just what I needed for a true getaway. The architecture and design are stunning, using natural materials that harmonize beautifully with the surrounding landscape. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and filled with soft, warm light. The private outdoor bath was a highlight—soaking while listening to the sounds of nature was pure bliss. The onsen (hot spring) facilities were exceptional. The water felt silky and therapeutic, and the bath area was well-maintained and serene. I also loved the attention to detail throughout the property, from the cozy lounge areas to the thoughtful amenities. Dining was another highlight—The lunch I have eaten, i.e. tomato spaghetti, felt like a celebration of local ingredients. Seasonal, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. What truly sets SOIL apart is the peaceful, unhurried pace of life there. The staff were attentive but never intrusive, always ensuring my comfort with a warm smile. I left feeling deeply rested and restored. I would highly recommend SOIL Nagatoyumoto to anyone looking for a mindful, rejuvenating hot spring experience in nature. I can’t wait to return.

- Kazumi (8/5): 綺麗でスタッフがとても親切 - 部屋もホテルも綺麗で清潔感に溢れています。周辺は小川や竹林など散歩するのが楽しくなるような景色で、子どもと一緒にジュース片手に歩き回りました。併設するレストランの料理も美味しく、Dinnerの予約をしておけば良かったと後悔するくらいです。スタッフの方も親切で優しく、とても癒される時間を過ごせました。 パジャマサイズは大人Sサイズが1番小さいようで、子ども用のパジャマが必要でした。朝食も大人分だけ付いており子どもは別料金が必要だったので、子どもと一緒の宿泊時は事前に何が含まれているかを確認した方が良いです。

- Daisuke (10/5): サウナ天国 - SOILさんは瀬戸田も素敵ですが、長門湯本も最高の滞在を提供してくださいました。屋上サウナからの展望は見事で、半露天の休憩スペースに何時間もいたくなる開放感でした。温泉は隣接する恩湯ですが、そぞろ歩き感で何度も行けるのがそれはそれで楽しかったです。チェックアウトが11時だったのも嬉しいポイントです。 キッズメニューはもっとキッズ寄りでもいいかも (ビーツやフォカッチャは好き嫌いが分かれそう)

The staff were really friendly. There is a range of different room types, hostel style pods and private rooms with multiple beds. I wish I had booked more time here to be honest, truly the highlight of my trip. The heat was on very high, this is largely personal preference though.

I was thinking that feed 4 of us because they did not mention that we were only paying for adults meals. However 4 hours after checking in they told me that we only receive 2 breakfast. If I knew that I wouldn’t have added breakfast at all. The onsen down the street was really small. I wish we stayed at another hotel in the area.

- ITO (10/5): もっと近くにあったら通うのに！ - インテリアがおしゃれで、スタッフの方みんなが楽しそうに働いていたこと。 サウナやイタリアンなどのクオリティも高く、街全体も綺麗で賑わっていたこと。 もう少しだけお安くなったら嬉しいです！

- amane (10/5): - 若いスタッフの皆さんの感じが良くて、とても楽しい滞在でした。こちらに泊まりたくての旅行でしたが、この温泉の町が凄く気に入ってまた是非来たいです。

- Anna (10/5): Stunning - At arrival we were offered a possibility to upgrade our room for a reasonable fee to a bigger one, the king suite, which we accepted. And I have to admit, it was the most beautiful hotel room we have ever stayed in. Spacious and decorated with a lot of taste, every lamp and every detail are perfectly matching this place and creating an amazing atmosphere. Lots of space, big windows with beautiful views to the river below. The room needs no TV, because with the river during the day and a distant thunderstorm at night, the nature gives already the best show. There is a sauna on the top floor, also very beautiful and with a great view. Moreover, the onsen next door accepts people with tattoos (how refreshing!) and the river and surroundings are perfect for a relaxing walk. We really hope to go back someday and enjoy this magical place again.

- T.I (9/5): お坊さんの像に見守られながら温泉に入り、子供達は川遊びも出来て、施設は清潔でスタッフは優しい最高の宿。 - ホテルの前を小さな川が流れています。水深は1mない場所が殆どで子供達が安全に遊べました。テナガ海老や小さな魚を沢山捕まえることが出来ましたし（リリースしましたが）子供達は大満足で、親は岸辺から見守りしやすい環境で大変使い勝手の良い川でした。 朝食が通常よくあるバイキング形式だともっと子供が楽しめたのかなと思いました。

- 堀田 (8/5): ゆっくり快適 - 建物は古そうでしたが、改装されていて明るく清潔で綺麗でした‼️従業員の方々の対応もすごくよかったです。 あと、朝食のフォカッチャが、めちゃ美味しかった❣️ テレビがなくて驚きました笑 ただ、そこは普段しないオセロの貸し出しをさせてもらって，普段とはまた違った時間が過ごせました。 鏡が洗面台にだけあったのですが、私泊まった部屋だけなのか？角度が斜めにに取り付けてあったので化粧がしづらかったです。部屋に、卓上で使える大きめの折りたたみの鏡などがあればいいなと思います。
