Free easy street parking near by Free bottle of small water in the room Fridge Tea Coffee facilities Strong water pressure in the shower gorgeous hot water The room had air con that we were able to alter to 16 degrees Location to village square A quiet hotel just off the square so we slept well & the main reason for that was because the whole town slept. Sleepy village location in the middle of nowhere. We didn't opt for breakfast as it was a little bit pricey for our budget. The hotel closed up early, including the bar area. We understood it was only day 1 opening at the start of the season so the pool to us didn't look that inviting. Check out was 11 am. So we thought we would go for a walk first thing to see what was open in the town which was very little. On our return we were approached by the hotel receptionist who had already been into our room to say we left bags in there. Which we politely said that's because we have yet checked out & we haven't handed our key in yet. We thought that was something quite unusual we hadn't actually experienced before. Out of season/early season the whole town shuts down around 8pm so remember to factor that in as it's Extremely quiet out of season.

• Ali (10/5): Séjour confortable au cœur de Monpazier - Hôtel moderne dans des murs anciens au cœur de Monpazier. Notre chambre était très spacieuse et donnait directement sur la petite rue ce qui était très pratique pour sortir notre chien. Gentillesse du personnel et très bon petit déjeuner.

• Diana (10/5): A perfect stay... - An absolute gem in the heart of Monpazier. Incredibly friendly & helpful staff. Beautifully decorated room & hotel in general. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Could even have had a sauna but didn't have time! We had a truly wonderful stay. MERCI BEAUCOUP 🤗. Nothing!

• Lynda (7/5): Pleasant comfortable B&B - It was centrally located The staff were lovely and the breakfasts excellent. We had a nice room with small kitchen so we could make coffee etc. And there was a small supermarket nearby. The room was smart and modern but there weren’t many comfortable chairs or places to relax in the hotel apart from our room. If we’d only been there for one or two nights it would have been fine but we were there for 7 and a comfortable lounge would have been good.

La combinación de un edificio del siglo XV con un mobiliario minimalista, una cama inmensa comodísima y un baño ultra moderno, es insuperable. La pena es que está muy lejos de mi casa y dudo que pueda volver cada año.
• Steve (7/5): - Very clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, great location. The position of the shower and toilet in our suite room was rather unorthodox and meant little privacy when being used. Location of tv in the middle of the room on a stand somewhat made the room smaller than expected. Would be better mounted on the wall. Two fridges in the room is unnecessary. Nowhere to hang wet towels to dry. Minor things but would help scoring.

• Catherine (7/5): Wir waren zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Das Hotel braucht ein bisschen Feinschliff. - Es ist ein schönes Hotel in einem renovierten alten Gebäude, modern eingerichtet. Wir hatten eine 60 m2 Suite, leider ohne Balkon. Direkt vor der Tür sind Kaffees, Restaurants und Markt. Es mangelt sichtlich an Personal. Die Rezeption macht auch das Frühstück, und reinigt sogar den Pool wenn es nicht anders geht. Das Haus schließt um 21.30 Uhr, dafür hat man einen Schlüssel für den seitlichen Eingang. Aber die Bar ist dann zu. Gemütlich einen Wein trinken, geht nicht. Bei kurzen Aufenthalten werden die Zimmer/Bäder nicht gemacht (wird als öko-freundlich verkauft!) Unser Bad zeigt schon Schimmel-Spuren 2 Jahre nach Renovierung. Das Frühstück ist minimalistisch gehalten, zum Teil auf der Bartheke präsentiert. Parking auf der Straße. Wenn man Glück hat, nicht zu weit weg. Der Pool war an einem Tag nicht sauber, also auch nicht nutzbar.

• Philippe (6/5): Chambre mal entretenue. - Bel hôtel situé dans une ancienne demeure rénovée avec goût et idéalement situé au centre de la bastide. 2 nuits Chambre 104. Propreté irréprochable de la literie à notre arrivée mais traces de salissures sur un des murs de la chambre et travaux en cours ? Manque d'entretien dans la salle d'eau, les joints sont jaunes et très douteux ! (voir photos) Il serait aussi préférable d'avertir les gens avant leur réservation: La démarche éco-responsable adoptée par l'établissement consiste entre autre à n'intervenir que tous les 3 jours pour l'entretien des chambres !!! Ou à facturer 25 euros, une demande de nettoyage supplémentaire !!! Enfin le petit déjeuner est assez minimaliste.

La catégorie de la chambre ne correspondait pas aux photos ni à ce que nous attendions (surface de la chambre, pas d’espace séparé pour la kitchenette) Pas de service hôtelier (notamment pas de ménage pour un séjour de 4 nuits)

Et un hôtel que nous recommanderons . - Chambre très agréable, propre Très bel hôtel , avec un emplacement aux portes des arcades et des restaurants Superbe coin piscine où l’on peut déguster des planches de fromages ( tout est du coin ) Un manque d’amabilité de la serveuse du matin envers certains clients de l’hôtel , revoir peut être l’organisation du petit déjeuner afin qu’elle se sente moins surpassée.

• Emma (7/5): Logement plaisant et très bien situé - Studio spacieux, et très bien situé. En plein cœur de la vieille ville et à quelques pas des commerces et restaurants. Les deux accès, sur la rue pour l’un et sur la piscine pour l’autre, sont très pratiques. Grand lit confortable et kitchenette pratique. Piscine et sauna très appréciables. Le ménage en milieu de séjour était léger. On entendait pas mal les pas des occupants du dessus. Quelques points à améliorer : bac pour le tri sélectif à ajouter; une étagère ou tablette dans la salle de bain pourrait être ajoutée pour pouvoir y poser une trousse de toilette, ainsi que quelques crochés pour serviette en plus, mettre des fauteuils un peu plus grands dans « l’espace salon » ou un petit canapé.

The building is beautifully converted and the rooms are a nice size. As we were there a few days, we needed the toilet paper restocked and as the rooms weren’t checked daily we didn’t get this. Also needed to request more comfortable pillows

En revanche, cet établissement de qualité n'est pas véritablement un hôtel car le ménage n'y est pas assuré en cours de séjour (sous couvert d'une charte environnementale).

• Patrick (4/5): blij dat we het overleefd hebben - de rust is zeker OK, en het personeel dat echt voor "alles" moet zorgen... petje af... Ondanks de vroege boeking, sliepen we niet echt 'IN' het hotel maar in een gehandicapten kamer die enkel langs buiten bereikbaar was, echt jammer. En de airco die ons de eerste dagen deed vriezen van de kou.. dat was echt niet nodig.

• Hildevp (9/5): Charmant hotel met top service - Het hotel is klein en charmant. Het personeel is super vriendelijk! De kamers zijn mooi ingericht. Grote douche op onze kamer. Midden in het centrum van het kleine maar mooie Monpazier. De airco op de kamer die automatisch aanging. Niet nodig als het buiten maar 22 graden is. Ontbijt mocht voor ons iets meer vers fruit zijn.

• Gust (5/5): - Uitstekende locatie: vlakbij centrum, middeleeuws gebouw, erg modern design. Uitstekend ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. De service voor een verblijf van een week was ondermaats: de handdoeken werden niet vervangen, het WC-papier werd niet aangevuld, de afvalemmer werd niet geledigd, de kamer werd niet gereinigd.

• Andrew (3/5): - The room we were allocated was rated on booking .com as ‘deluxe’, and was far from cheap. It was actually pretty basic. one chair, no table or other surfaces to put things, nowhere to dry or hang towels. The heavy glass door to the toilet trapped my wife’s foot. Apparently we had booked a ‘chic’ room which is clearly French hotel speak for ‘small and pokey’ and the fact we had been mislead was all the fault of booking.com and not the hotel’s fault. The manager ‘Christine’ seemed to have very little aptitude for hotel management seeming keener to find excuses then resolutions, as was further demonstrated at breakfast time when our daughter who was also staying at the hotel and who was unaware of the hotels requirement to prebook breakfast, was rudely treated to a lecture on “children starving in Africa”!! Christine couldn’t be bothered to unlock to door to the street so that we could breakfast outside. as we had done on the first day of our stay. Other staff were pleasant and helpful. on the plus side the hotel is very well located next to the main square. Poor service can ruin a holiday

No one told us we had to book the breakfast the day before, and when we arrived we got very unpolitely told "now you have touched it, you have to eat it" and when we explained no one told us we had to book in adance they said "we are trying to prepare only in the right number " which is a very noble concept if it was for the fact the woman kept adding rude comments like "because you know, there are children starving in Africa" and we felt very uncomfortable the all time. As first thing in the morning, we would have needed a different approach.
