Renate (5/5): Braucht dringend eine Renovierung... - Prächtige alte Parkanlage mit tollen Pflanzen, war früher das beste Hotel... Sehr in die Jahre gekommen, altes "Grand"Hotel aus den 60er Jahren, das seit Jahren nicht renoviert wurde. Mussten 10 Minuten zum Zimmer gehen, kein Telefon im Zimmer wenn man etwas braucht, Schlüssel funktionierte nicht, Zimmer nahe der Strasse mit Strassenlärm, kaum Leute im Hotel, dürfte bald zusperren oder renoviert werden, Shop nicht in Betrieb, Bar nicht in Betrieb, schaut alles verlottert aus...
Joao (8/5): Muito bonito mas antiquado. - A localização e o ambiente de floresta. A decoração dos espaços principais é muito bonita e as “cabanas” completamente inéditas. O ruído ambiente é o típico de selva. Os quartos estão um pouco maltratados e com infraestrutura antiga e insuficiente. Má iluminação e equipamentos elétricos antigos.
Nola (10/5): Choose Lodge at Chichén Itzá! Wonderful Place - Gorgeous, tropical setting. A little pricey, but breakfast was included and our palapa was beyond beautiful. Great air con, nice pools, great restaurant and location. Worth the price. We liked everything. Pricey but worth it.

Susana (8/5): - Els bungalows i l’entorn L’horari de l’esmorzar, vam marxar sense esmorzar perque van ser molt lents en el servei.
nathan (6/5): Good location and attractive rooms! - Hotel location and our room accommodations (one of the cottages). Attractive spaces for dining. A large enough pool to swim laps in. The look and feel of the entirety of the property was very appealing. Overall, the property had what appeared to be multiple unfinished projects in progress. Those multiple sites looked disorganized and "messy" (randomly stacked furnishings, trash and construction debris visible through nearby door openings, etc.). Somewhat killed the vibe. The word I would use is "seedy" in lieu of "charming"...with the hint of a more prosperous previous era. That WAS an expectation but perhaps not quite at that price point. Service at dining room was pretty poor; speed of service (slower) was expected but, alas, multiple meals where what was ordered never arrived and it was simply too much trouble to try and "fix".

The gardens were beautiful Much of the hotel wasn’t being used and the rooms needed refurbishing - shower over bath didn’t work properly - the bar ran out of certain drinks, no tonic water while we were there (2 days)

Devin (7/5): - The building and grounds are beautiful and lush. We enjoyed our bungalow, especially the wood work and thatched roof, very evocative of the location. We had no hot water and the toilet flushed very poorly. Seems the facility needs updating. Although adjacent to the ruins, direct access is no longer available, so we had to take a fairly long shuttle to get to the entrance.

Brigitte (10/5): Würde ich jederzeit wieder machen: traumhaft schön und ideal, um auf Maya-Spuren zu wandeln - Lage sehr toll; tropische riesengroße Anlage mit gepflegten diversen Pflanzen, an denen man sich kaum satt sehen kann. Die Nähe zu Chichén Itzá ist perfekt, um bereits zeitig am Morgen mit einer Sightseeingtour zu starten. Bis auf Kaffee im Pappbecher gibt es keine Beanstandungen

Samuel (10/5): A great hotel next to amazing Mayan ruins - Wonderfully relaxed place. The rooms I had was a spacious bungalow with a thatched roof right next to one of the pools. Shaded by giant trees and bamboo. Birds, iguanas and gekos. Dinner and breakfast were good. Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. It’s vary close the Chichen Itza site. Although very close the Chichen Itza site, its otherwise a bit out of the way. Unfortunately the direct access from the hotel to the archaeological site is temporarily closed (since COVID), so if you are without car, you need to rely on taxis and shuttles.
