- Dulcie (9/5): - The property is dog friendly which is great for those bringing small furries. We didn't bring any pets and found the accommodation had a strong smell of dog on arrival. A bit of venting and the small receded or we became accustomed to it.
- Garbutt (3/5): - Location to the beach. To be told that I could get builders turn up as there was a possibility of double booking, the cooker was spray painted and the back board was still tacky from being painted black, got told by owner that it was safe to use but I could put finger prints into the back board so decided to save causing a fire not to use the cooker at all. Pictures peeling off the walls 2 broken mopeds out the front, broken washing machine. The price was cheap but don't expect to walk into I did, and how I was treated when I first informed the owner of the issues with the property. They later apologised for issues and waiting reimbursement.
- Jenny (3/5): Not as advertised and poorly cleaned - Winchelsea sands is ideally located by the beach, we visit every year and would recommend Unfortunately, as other reviewers have said, the property was not very clean when we arrived and didn’t smell particularly nice. There was still food leftover in the sink from washing up and crumbs all over the hob (which has seen better days!) and beds were very poorly made - it was unclear whether bedding had actually been washed since last guests as there was a lot of (dog?) hair on them. The two other main issues were that there was no parking available anywhere near the caravan, despite being advertised as having private parking and there was no sofa bed - indeed it appeared to actually be outside of the caravan. We’d booked for 6 guests so not having the sofa bed meant two guests had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. Owners have not replied to any messages and not have booking.com so no choice but to stay once we were there. We’ve stayed at this park several times and would stay again, but not in this caravan - the others we’ve stayed in have been lovely!

- Paul (1/5): Hands off owner advertising very poorly maintained, dirty property. - Nearby pebble beach was bracing, and campsite was staffed by friendly staff that advised that they were not involved in booking or support. Main issues were:
Dirty, cigarette ash & dirty washing up in kitchen
Musty smell, probably because front door lets water in.
Appears no service undertaken since last guest as jewellery found on couch-left on kitchen bench
No hot water-cold showers only
Two towels and 3 mugs for four people
Boiler showed error light but had no instructions to fix
Could not cook on hob as no gas
Gas compliance label found under caravan was incomplete- left in kitchen to assist with gaping compliance
Owner did not respond to queries while we were staying
Owner subsequently verbally offered apologies and a refund but 24 hours after stay still hasn’t confirmed same to Booking.com
