- Strike (1/5): Dont bother with SweetStay on booking.com they just take your money and are pushy to take more. - Never even stayed at this place. There wasnt even an option for me to say if I liked it because they marked me as a no show and demanded I pay off a link for a deposit which I wasnt happy with doing and wasnt in the terms and conditions when booking prior. They went against what was written in their fine print- demanded I pay a deposit off a dodge link. I never had any help from booking.com when I complained about this. I was happy with paying an added deposit but was not happy with the terms that they expected of me. After telling them I will be on a plane to malta when they claim I will be a "no show" for not paying a deposit off their dodge "sweetstay" they still went ahead and marked me as a no show. I had no help in a sensitive situation what so ever. I will never recommend this place let alone Sweet Stay and I will never recommend Booking.com to book accommodation.
- John (1/5): Left after one night as unable to stand smell and dirty apartment, had to find alternative accommodation - Nothing to like, there was a smell that made being in the apartment unbearable, it was very dirty and unable to get tv or WiFi working It was very dirty and had a very unpleasant smell, WiFi and to did not work , shower was damaged , sink tap loose and sink not draining, the apartment was very dirty and a lot of noise from the balcony door that didn’t fit with gaps
- T (10/5): Perfect Spot in Valletta - I really enjoyed my stay here. The studio is small but has everything you need, and you honestly can’t beat the location, you step outside and you’re right in the heart of Valletta. It made it so easy to walk around and discover the city. Communication with the host was great too. They were always quick to reply and really helpful with tips and check-in info, which made everything super smooth. Overall, a lovely stay in a great little place. I’d happily come back next time I’m in Valletta!
