• Teresa (6/5): - La primera noche estuve sola en la habitación que es bastante grande. Es una zona tranquila, no sé escucha la musica La habitación olía a humedad. Es posible que estuviera cerrada un tiempo. La habitación no tenía llaves para cerrar aunque es verdad que el dueño estaba siempre en la puerta. Cuando me bañé en la piscina me manche de azul... ¿Estaría recién pintada? Lo dudo.

• Müller (6/5): Für ein 22€/Nachtzimmer ohne Luxus empfehlenswert. - Wir sind auf freundliches Personal gestossen. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und die Betten gemacht. Bei dem Preis von ca. 22€/Nacht, darf man nicht all zu vielen Luxus erwarten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im dritten Stock. Im Zimmer befand sich kein Tisch an dem man z. B. frühstücken konnte. Kleiner Kühlschrank, ein Wasserkocher mit zwei Tassen , Kaffeepulver mit Trockenmilch vorhanden. Der Flachbildschirm brachte keine Fernsehkanäle. Es war nur möglich Youtube Spielfilme anzusehen. Das Gebäude hat keinen Aufzug. Der Pool hat die Grösse eines Wohnzimmers, ca. 18 qm. Vielleicht hatten wir Pech mit dem Zimmer. Als ich das Wasser im Badezimmer, gleich Toilette, aufdrehen wollte, konnte ich den Wasserhahn aus dem Waschbecken heben. Er war nicht fest am Waschbecken montiert. Als ich das an der Einmannrezeption meldete, kam dieser sofort mit einer Combizange um den Hahn zu befestigen. Mir war klar, dass das nicht möglich ist. Dabei blieb es auch. Die ganzen 5 Tage mussten wir mit zwei Händen den Wasserhahn öffnen und schliessen. Ab dem dritteb Tag ging die Toilettenspülung nicht mehr. Man konnte nun entweder den Wassertankdeckel abnehmen und mit der Hand den Spülvorgang einleiten oder mit dem Wasserdruckschlauch, es gibt hier keine Klobürsten, die Toilette reinigen. Das Wasser der Dusche wurde auf 35 Grad gedrosselt. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass wir mit dem Zimmer Pech hatten und in den anderen Zimmern der Wasserhahn fest war und die Toilettenspülung funktionierte. Fazit: Wer auf Luxus keinen Wert legt, das Zimmer nur zum Schlafen braucht und tagsüber auf Achse ist, isr mit diesem Hotel für diesen Preis gut beraten. Wassertemperatur auf 35 Grad gedrosselt. Kein Tisch, aber zwei Stühle im Zimmer. An Stelle eines Tisches nur eine schmale tresenartige Ablagefläche vorhanden.

La piscine trop petite ne donne pas envie de se baigner d'ailleurs on c'est pas baigner une seul fois. Et mauvaise réception Internet.

He made our stay in the hotel 100 times better, if I had any complaints he had a solution, wonderful receptionist and human. The hotel is good, rooms are clean and cozy, AC works fine. The beach is near the hotel, just 5/8 min walk, convenience store is 70m from the hotel, there’s a very good restaurant right next to the hotel Will be back for sure

• Alessandra (6/5): Nur zum Übernachten ok - Sehr zentral, nettes personal, smart tv, sauber Der ablauf der dusche war verstopft. Nach jedem duschen stand alles unter wasser. Einen Tag kam einfach braunes wasser aus klo, wasserhahn etc. Sehr eklig. Die Matratze war extrem weich, was bei längerem Aufenthalt unangenehm ist. Ausserdem wurde eine Kaution von 1000 baht verlangt und überall waren Listen von Preisen die man zahlen soll wenn die Bettwäsche zb dreckig wird… das war irgendwie frech und komisch da die Bettwäsche ja auch nicht täglich gewechselt wird und man eventuell auch mit Kindern unterwegs ist. Die Klimaanlage tropfte auch. Ausserdem waren die Zimmermädchen sehr langsam wodurch unser Zimmer in 5 Tagen nie sauber gemacht wurde weil immer wenn wir wieder kamen sie immer noch nicht bei unseren Zimmern angekommen waren… das war schade. Klopapier, wasser etc mussten wir uns dann selbstständig besorgen.

• Aoife (5/5): Unnecessary fines just to take advantage of tourists - This place is an absolute scam. Tried to charge 1000 baht for ‘stains’ on a pillowcase. They said the stains won’t come out and that they will have to wash the pillowcase….Which they should be doing anyways ? We brought the ‘stain’ pillowcase to a laundry place down the street ourselves and for just 50baht and ‘stains’ came out easily. They show you a charge list for damages immediately when you check-in so they will try charge you for anything. The security deposit for us was 2000 baht which most places we’ve stayed in Thailand are 100 baht maximum. The place itself is very run down and the pool turns you blue which I believe is a ploy to charge you for stains. When we returned with the clean unstained pillowcase the staff were very rude to us and threw the deposit back on the counter without saying a word.

Equipped as described, I can't complain. Ridiculous fees for damaging basically anything. I was forced to pay 1000 deposit and at the end of my stay the staff spent around 2 min checking everything in the room. Even though I didn't broke anything I really don't like this approach. Glass/cups 1000, key card 2500.. Really?

• Valentin (1/5): they tried to scam us overcharging for a dirty bed sheet and a dirty towel. you need to check and record the towels and - I don’t liked because they tried to create problems and tried to force us to pay a over charge for a sign of dirt on the bad cover. obviously it was since before our stay, the told is dirt of make up but my partner don’t even use makeup. I felt it is a practice for them to proceeds in such a way. They need to fix this problem and this scam kind of behaviour.

The small pool left blue paint stains on my skin. The internet was weak and frequently stopped working. Lots of stairs with no lift. Dirty river behind the hotel.

The location is pretty good as well, close to many prime locations. near 5 to 10min walk many local shops beaches, but repetitive. Special mention to staff very good prompt service .. • Louis (10/5): This is one of the best budget hotels I have stayed in Patong. - I stayed in Squareone in room 12 for 33 nights. This is what they call "Deluxe room" Lets start by saying that this is not the 4 Seasons. This is a 2 star budget hotel. Given that, this is probably one of the best 2 star hotels I have ever stayed at. Let's start from checking in. I arrived at hotel a bit earlier than 12 due to flights, but my room was ready and in 5 minutes I was shown in my room without any hussle. The room was big, had WIFI (although a bit spotty at times), a big bathroom with a shower. Room included 2 bottles of water and some free toiletries. There was also a small safe in the closet. Keep in mind the safe is good for documents, money, jewelry. Can't fit a laptop or tablet in there. According to the information mentioned next to the safe, only hotel manager can open the safe. No staff has access to it. Hotel also offered laundry service The hotel in general was very quiet and felt very safe. there are like 7-8 cameras on the main floor, and a few more in each floor. I never felt like anything bad could happen here. The stuff was very accomodating on my few requests. I asked for hot water couple of times, some garbage bags. Finally when i checked out, I had to stay a bit longer after check-out time (like 30-40 minutes). I had no issues with the hotel. All in all I would say that this was a great experience. There were a couple of things that could be better. But keep in mind these are more of nitpicks that real issues. I think that my most important issue was the the fridge was on when the hotel key card is inserted in the slot in the door. That means two bad things. First when you return to your room after a few hours, there is no cold water because the fridge has been off for server hours. Secondly, you can't have things that require constant refrigeration (like milk) because they will turn bad real quick. Rooms could have a water heater. That would make life much easier. Finally the other main issue that I had was with the air conditioning placement. The AC was pointing directly on the bed so it was not always feeling great when sleeping. Sometimes it was very cold, sometimes warm. All in all, these were minor grievances. The stay was great.
