• Sabrina (7/5): Perfekt, um die Stadt zu erkunden - Die Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden ist super. Die kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten im Parkhaus waren für uns perfekt und der Blick auf den Detroit River fantastisch. Aktuell ist das Hotel von einer Baustelle umgeben, wenn Greektown fertiggestellt ist, wird es bestimmt dort traumhaft aussehen. Die Fahrstühle sind öfter Mal hängen geblieben, was nicht so toll war. Wenn man ein Zimmer in der 14. Etage zum Parkhaus hin erhält, strahlt das Flutlicht der Parkhauses in das Zimmer. Dank des netten Personals haben wir ein Zimmer in einer anderen Etage erhalten.
• DJ Zaynee (10/5): Hollywood Casino Hotel Exceeded My Expectations! - I loved the bathroom with the walk-in shower! The king-size bed was so comfortable, and everything in the room was so clean. I loved how they have your name on the television. The temperature of the room was perfect! I wished they had free breakfast, but having Dunkin' Donuts there was good. The staff at Dunkin' was nice.

• Large (10/5): Great Location, Environment, Staff and Valu. Will stay here every time we come to Detroit! - Seemed like a very busy night for the hotel, however the room and floor was very quiet. lots of construction around the hotel making it difficult to get to our concert venue.... but that can't be helped!!! hope it will make things easier and appealing once complete! Valet was very helpful with directions while waiting for our Uber.

• Tereza (5/5): Not very satisfied - The view Cleanliness - hair of the previous guests were in the shower When I asked for a later check out I was told to ask the following morning (hard to plan things without knowing if late check out will be allowed or not). Next morning I was “generously” given one extra hour, even though the hotel was half empty. 👎
• Mike (9/5): Our stay at the Hollywood Casino was our favorite day of the year so far! - The staff was very friendly, especially at check-in. Very convenient location for access to downtown. Free parking is a nice touch as well!

• Elizabeth (5/5): Was not impressed for the cost of our room. Definitely do not recommend. - We got off immediately on the wrong foot as getting into the parking ramp was a frustrating experience. Then there was an incredibly horrible constant noisy buzzing in our room, it was in the wiring of an outlet and made sleeping difficult. The lobby staff said it was likely the CO2 detector but that noise will be enough to keep me from ever staying there again. Our room was barely the size of a large closet. There were spot lights outside of our room that even with the curtains closed kept our room lit up all night like it was daylight outside.

• Lynn (6/5): Meh, I wouldn't go back. - From our 19th floor room, we had a pretty good view of the city, including the stadiums. Unfortunately, it was raining the entire two days we were there, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. The beds and pillows were definitely comfy. The TV remote was easy to work, and the internet was good. Whoever was our housekeeper the day we arrived wasn't great. When we checked in, there was one hand towel and no wastebasket in the bathroom. One tiny one in the main room. There were two shampoos, one conditioner in the shower and no soaps. The next morning we were able grab what we needed from the nice woman cleaning our floor. Additionally, as we were getting ready to leave, we noticed that there were no coffee cups by the Keurig and there was a used k-cup still inside that had to have been there for at least 2 days. Beyond their control, there was so much construction on Monroe street that it was difficult to get out and walk to nearby restaurants. We walked in and then right out of the casino because the cigarette smoke was so bad we couldn't breathe, but I guess casinos aren't made for non-smokers.

• Janet (5/5): Nice property nice location I suppose that what happened to us could have any anywhere, but it was pretty disconcerting - We have stayed there before and it is a nice location and I enjoy the gambling. At 2:30 in the morning, there was a huge fight right outside our hotel room. It took security about a half an hour to get it to settle down so for about an hour it was awful.

Our check in process was amazing- Christina was very friendly and informative and accommodating! The room wasn't the cleanest, and we were missing cups/glasses for coffee/water.

HOWEVER, KANYA, WHO IS A VALUABLE MEMBER OF HOUSING KEEPING STAFF, SHE, LOCATED AN IRON AND BROUGHT IRON TO MY ROOM. KANYA, SAVED THE DAY.

• tamsen (2/5): Bad location for parking. We turned around and drove all the way back to London Ontario that same night and never stayed - Location is great. Except the demolition and construction in the vicinity making entering the parking garage impossible and one way street navigation- terrible. They need better signage for parking entrances. Or directions in the app to guide guests. The construction has made access impossible. We drove for 3 hours trying to get parking and then the hotel allowed so many free parking while Supercross was on, the Tigers game and hockey that as guests- we had no parking available.
• Samantha (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend at all. - We arrived at the property with them telling us they moved us to another hotel without any prior communication. The hotel they moved us to was lovely however it was 21 minutes away from where we needed to be. Once we arrived at the property they moved us to they were not made aware of our original accommodations and gave us a room with one bed for 4 guests. They also tried charging for parking which should have been covered, as we were told by Hollywood. Communication from Hollywood was extremely poor and made for chaos that shouldn’t have occurred. Expecially when you are traveling with kids in a busy city. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Just that the casino has that smoke smell to it and it lingers through the hotel.

ABOVE & BEYOND! - I requested to consider an upgraded room, only if it was avaible, and you exceeded my expectations far and above (Room No 1801, WOW!, Thank you so much!). I have been advertising for you by sharing the video, I took, with many. I had friends staying in other rooms, we were celebrating a buddies 60th Birthday. After hitting the city for dinner and drinks, we were able to come back to my room and enjoy the best part our celebration. in the "family room", sitting with an amazing view, having drinks, talking, and sharing stories. Thanks for fulfilling my upgrade request. So much appreciated! Also the gal who checked us in was amazing and friendly. One of your cleaning staff was so kind, friendly, and helpful to me in the morning. The concierge gave us a great recommendation for breakfast in the morning, within walking distance. The limited exposure to your staff was amazing and helpful at every level. The flavored water in the lobby was also much appreciated. Also, loved the free, clean, accessible, functional parking. Dude, you guys are crushing it. I used to wait tables in Greektown, back in the 90's , and you brought back great memories of my enjoyment of Greektown.

• Keonna (6/5): Had fun but could’ve been better - The casino was within walking distance just across the skyway. Not far from the elevators. To pay a decent amount for a night and not get the room purchased or sen is crazy. Purchased a Premium Queen and ended up getting handicap accessible, no glass shower, only a curtain and it had stains on it. Hotel staff was not accommodating. I could see if I paid for a room and they just gave my something upon arrival but baby I paid for this weeks in advance.I paid for a room that I did not even stay in. Total rip. I will be back but I highly doubt I’d stay overnight. Food choices could’ve been better in the casino. Too much construction and traffic. Plan accordingly.
