• Natalia (10/5): Батанта и ее жители, которых вы не забудете. - Понравилась атмосфера доброжелательности от всех членов семьи, живописность места, незабываемые завтраки, обеды и ужины (лучшее из того, что мы встречали) и отличный парень Кесбо. Мы рады, что попали в это место и получили яркие радостные впечатления. Если вы собираетесь в Раджа-Ампат, то точно рекомендуем приехать в гости к этой семье. Обязательно советуем съездить с Кесбо на водопады и насладиться ими под его музыку. Скромный домашний риф. Чтобы увидеть интересные кораллы, приготовьтесь ездить на трипы, которые предлагает данный семейный дом. Запаситесь для этого достаточным количеством местных рупий. Также на острове нет возможности для пеших прогулок.
• Monika (10/5): - There are only three small cottages at the site, and the place is very clean and well-maintained. The family were very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and varied. We also took advantage of several offered trips, including snorkeling – there are some beautiful snorkeling spots about 30 minutes away. When we went on full-day trips, they also gave us a full delicious meal on the go. Usually in the evening there was a wi-fi available. nothing, everything was great
• Natasha (9/5): Relaxing, quiet spot with great snorkelling. - Quiet location. Was a bit confusing as some maps/ boat drivers think it is called Sampari Homestay. Reef is good, we were very lucky to see the back end of a dugong while snorkeling through the sea grass. Snorkel to the left of the Homestay. Saw lots of fish, turtles, baby sharks.. Food was great! Often fish. Rooms were nice, private mandi. Kesbo is friendly( not much English) , came to ‘rescue’ my husband who was swimming across the bay :-) there might be crocodiles in the mangroves on the other side. We snorkelled for around 3 h a day. Prices for day trips seemed a bit steeper than other places. There was 1 hammock, you are lucky if you can get it for a few days.
• Charles (9/5): Olaf, Shirley, Kessbo and entire family are always there for you to make you feel at home. - Beautiful secluded lagoon. Quiet and not a susceptible to big wave beach crashing. Fresh and varied cuisine. Star Link WiFi in evening. Kind, generous and friendly family service. Very far travel distance and expense to access cash. Bring lots of cash with you if you want to dive. Credit cards are not accepted. PayPal and Wise only.
• Antoine (10/5): Exceptionnel. - On a été très bien accueilli par Kesbo et sa famille au sein de leurs bungalows qui sont au dessus de l’eau à marée haute et donne sur une plage à marée basse. Les activités proposées sont tops et variées. Kesbo nous a accompagné dans chacune d’elles pour que nous puissions avoir la meilleure expérience possible. Le petit déjeuner, déjeuner et dîner sont copieux et délicieux. On a passé un excellent moment. Mention spéciale pour les bébés requins qui se baladent toute la journée devant les bungalows. Un grand merci à eux pour leur accueil, on reviendra ! Rien
• Maciek (10/5): - Beautiful place, Beautiful people. Bungalows with private bathroom. Comfortable bed. Delicious food. Great half day trips to Batanta waterfalls, lagoon and local village. You can also go to manta point. For those who need connection there is a starlink when electricity is on. They organised for us transport straight to Sorong as it was our last homestay. Kesbo we miss you already.

• Toine (10/5): Slice of paradise - Slice of paradise With no other sign of civilization in sight, this was the perfect getaway for me. I booked for 3 nights and stayed one extra, just because... it's pristine. Life became super simple. All of a sudden it made perfect sense to chill in my hammock, listen to the waves, maybe read a book and just... be. If that's what youre after, this is the place for you. Kesbo (who speaks a bit of English) and his family are warm hearted, humble and welcoming people, with a sense of homemade music and humor. They took me on several short trips to see mantas, amazing coral, pythons (didnt see any but we did spot dolphins) and other nearby wildlife. Breakfast was simple but the rest of the food was pretty good (am a chef and nutritionist) and at night... there is just silence and dankness, which made me sleep so well. Bungalows are new, basic, clean, with private bathroom and directly on your private beach, from where it's only a 50 m snorkel to the house reef, which is worth exploring every day. Over the past days, I discovered purple anemones, murenes, manti shrimp, orange pufferfish, black/white sea snakes, turtles, reef sharks, spotted stingrays and loads of different, healthy and colurful corals. • Malin (10/5): - I had an amazing stay at this homestay. I stayed here for 3 nights. The location is remote, which makes the place very tranquil and peaceful. The hut is clean and you have your own bathroom. I loved sitting on my porch and overlook the ocean which is right in front of you! I saw sharks and stingrays swimming past me. In the evening you could see the moon over the water. The food was amazing 👌 my request of getting vegetarian food was no problem. No other homestay had this great food on my trip. The homestay had just installed wifi when I got there which was a big plus. I also went with their trip to Dayang for snorkling with manta rays which was unforgettable!
• Michela (9/5): Paradiso di pace e gentilezza a Batanta - La posizione, il calore e l’accoglienza della famiglia, la quiete Nulla (le camere erano molto semplici e anche il cibo, ma come in tutte le altre homestay di raja ampat)
• Nicholas (10/5): Best homestay experience in Raja Ampat - Sampari Paradise Homestay is in a more isolated location near Dayang Island. The bungalows all have private bathrooms with bucket bathing. The bungalows are simple and well provisioned. Meals were all tasty with large portion sizes, mainly fish at lunch and dinner. The only fruit made available were bananas. Power is on from late afternoon til early in the morning. The is no Telkomsel wifi signal at Sampari Paradise, you will need to catch a 10 min ride into the local village on one of the 3 homestay longboats to get wifi. We took every tour they offered bc this area of Batanta is awesome. Dayang Island is less than 15 mins from Sampari. Manta rays come for cleaning in the bay in front of Dayang Island, we snorkelled for over 1 hr with a group of 3 mantas all 3 to 4 metres in width. We did the waterfalls trip - full day with lunch on Arefi Island. The waterfalls are spectacular and highly recommended. Bring solid shoes as the track can be steep in parts, slippery and muddy. We did another full day trip to Wai Island where we saw a variety of cuscus, bats, coconut crabs, large weaver spiders and jungle trials, then went snorkelling to Kri Reef (not Kri Island), this amazing reef surrounds a small sandbar that just appears in the middle of the ocean, then had lunch on Arun Island, again just a tiny sandbar in the middle of the ocean with a few trees for shade. Outside of high tide, you can walk out 50 to 100 metres in most directions all around Arun Island in waist deep crystal clear turquoise water. The best feature of Sampari Paradise is the homestay owner Olof and his large West Papuan family. English is very limited, so you will need your Translate App. They always have beaming genuine smiles and very willing to provide any assistance to make your stay with them unforgettable. If you bring children on your Raja Ampat trip, they will have a really good time playing all day with Mr Olof’s gang of kids who live at Sampari. I would highly recommend Sampari Paradise All Good
