• annette (10/5): Top hotel! - Zeer mooi en luxe ogend hotel! 4 zwembaden met ligbedden. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Je loopt zo het centrum van Chersonissos in. Met de taxi naar old chersonissos om daar te eten is echt een aanrader! Schoonmaak van de centrale ruimtes begint al vroeg en dat hoor je wel in de kamers

• Joeishi (9/5): - I had an incredible stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I got a free upgrade to pool view. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Each meal was fresh and flavorful, setting a perfect tone for the day. They offer two restaurants for dinner, one is directly next door and the other one is around a minute walk away. The room was absolutely perfect – clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I was especially thrilled with the balcony, which offered stunning views that made my mornings even more special. It was a peaceful retreat with everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. I stayed in room 735 which was a corner room. Everything is on the door step, from Supermarkets, excursions, car rental and the beach which is less than 5 minutes away were you'll found restaurants along the beach front. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service, great food, and a comfortable stay with a view to match. I’ll definitely be back! I like everything about this hotel.

Da würde sich eine kleine a la carte Karte mit griechischen Sachen wesentlich besser machen als das, was dort angeboten wurde.

• Alissa (8/5): - Mooi hotel met prachtig zwembad. In het naseizoen zelfs kamer upgrade gekregen en halfpension! Heel attent. Fijne bedden. Wifi werkte goed. Prima ontbijt en avondeten, maar niet heel uitgebreid. De kamers zijn wel wat gehorig. Van te voren werd er aangegeven dat ik kon parkeren op de parkeerplaats van het hotel, maar de hele week was er geen afstandsbediening beschikbaar voor de slagboom, terwijl er wel continue plekken waren. Gelukkig kon parkeren wel op naastgelegen parkeerplaats, maar hier is niet altijd plek.

Αλλά θα σταθώ σε δύο πρόσωπα που άγγιξαν την καρδιά μάς τον υπέροχο διευθυντή κ.Σπυρο που ήτανε σαν να βρήκα τον χαμένο αδελφό μού και την Αναστασία στο σέρβις του εστιατορίου που μας εξυπηρέτησε σαν να ήμασταν στο σπίτι τής Θα το ξανά επισκεφθούμε σίγουρα και εννοείται θα είναι η κύρια πρόταση μάς σε γνωστούς και φίλους για την ανατολική Κρήτη.... Να είστε όλοι καλά ευχαριστούμε για όλα....

• Christian (10/5): - Super schönes Hotel mit sehr sehr freundlichem Personal. Ich bekam ein kostenloses Upgrade in einer Suite mit Halbpension. Das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet waren reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Die Poolanlage super schön und dadurch, dass es mehrere Pools gibt, ist es auch nirgendwo überlaufen. leider schwaches Wlan im Zimmer. Dadurch, dass ich gearbeitet habe, war es nicht ganz optimal. Von daher passt die Beschreibung ("High-Speed Internet") nicht ganz. Ansonsten habe ich aber nichts zu beanstanden.

• Xabier (6/5): - La habitación que nos asignaron era muy espaciosa, luminosa y con cómodas camas. El personal fue muy amable en nuestra recepción. Nos hicieron amablemente un tour por las instalaciones con todo lujo de explicaciones y al marchar nos dejaron sin poner ninguna objeción la salida tardía. Lamentablemente nos podemos opinar lo mismo de la comida. La comida pésima. Poca variedad y bajísima calidad. En el desayuno no había posibilidad de servirse agua, el sitio dispuesto para el buffet era muy pequeño, únicamente una cafetera y un tostador para todos los huéspedes, lo que formaba largas colas. La bollería no tenía sabor ninguno y había poca variedad en general, tanto en el desayuno como en la cena. En la cena había que abonar las bebidas y por el agua te cobraban 3€ el litro, cuando en la tienda de abajo estaba a 0'50€. Una noche le pagamos la botella a uno de los camareros y al marchar una empleada salió corriendo detrás de nosotros increpándonos par que pagáramos el agua. Tenía aún el ticket en la mano y afortunadamente el chico que nos cobró seguía allí, pero fue una situación incómoda y desagradable aunque la chica luego se disculpó. La música en la piscina un poco alta.

• Camille (5/5): Bof - L’emplacement L’hôtel est beau de loin, mais en regardant de plus près, la qualité n’est pas au rendez-vous. Les finitions et les matériaux laissent à désirer. Nous avons eu l’évacuation de la douche bouchée : il a fallu deux jours pour qu’une intervention soit faite, et même après, l’eau restait stagnante car le sol n’est pas droit. Nous avons également eu une invasion de fourmis, le ménage était bâclé et le frigo faisait énormément de bruit (63 décibels mesurés). Par moments, il n’y avait même pas d’eau chaude. Seul l’homme qui nous a accueillis a été aimable, le reste du personnel manquait de réactivité. L’hôtel dispose de quatre piscines, dont la principale accessible uniquement sur réservation, mais il est quasiment impossible d’y accéder car des clients extérieurs peuvent aussi la réserver. On nous dit que les clients de l’hôtel sont prioritaires, mais ce n’est pas le cas. Quant aux autres piscines, les transats sont mal agencés : il faut souvent passer sur le transat d’autres personnes pour accéder à un libre. Dommage, car le cadre est agréable, mais la gestion et l’entretien laissent une impression très mitigée.

The staff and service were absolutely amazing – they were available 24/7 and always happy to help with anything we needed. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my stay and highly recommend it to others.
• Katarina (9/5): Right decision to stay in Crete. - Amazing location and very friendly staff. We really appreciated helpful approach of reception and restaurant staff. Also food was really meeting our expectation and had very tasty selection. Would recommend to improve cleaning service. We were struggling with changing the towels and we also did not see any difference after cleaning ladies visited the room. However, when we requested clean towels on reception we got them.

• Laura (8/5): Peaceful, simplistic and friendly staff - Felt safe as a solo traveller, all staff were so nice and helpful made you feel really welcome! I did witness another couple checking in were moved to another hotel for a few nights which seems a common theme on other reviews on other websites, however this wasn’t my experience. The rooms were lovely and simplistic again I like this vibe but might not be everyone’s taste. Food was good and there was variation at breakfast. Lunch food that you could order was great value for money and loved you could order to your sunbed. There is an old town Koutouloufari a 10 min walk up the hill which had some lovely restaurants and again I felt safe walking there and back alone. Really close to the beach a 5 min walk. Also used the spa for a massage which would 10/10 recommend Eleana was wonderful! There isn’t enough sun bed’s for everyone and you do need to engage in sunbed wars at 9am, however there are lots of seats around the pool area. Remember to not read out peoples room numbers especially when they are a solo traveller it’s just common practice to not do this.

• Ornella (8/5): Bien - L’emplacement est super, on est proches de tout. l’hôtel est grand et spacieux, les chambres sont jolies également. Le personnel est accueillant que ça soit à l’accueil ou lors du petit déjeuner ou du repas du soir. Gros gros problème au niveau du service de chambre. 2 jours sur les 5 on nous a pas fait notre lit, on nous a pas ramené de nouvelles serviettes, on nous a mit des draps sales ! Franchement très déçu car l’hôtel en lui même est vraiment bien. Bémol également, le soir l’eau chaude ne fonctionnait pas.
• Tom (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf en super ontvangen door gans het team van het hotel. - De sfeer in en rondom het hotel, toffe vibe en leuk ingericht zowel de kamer als de inkom als rondom het zwembad of de eet ruimte. Ook kan je de kamer echt goed donker maken door het luik aan de buitenzijde dicht te doen, dit samen met de gordijn en de kamer is echt donker. Het personeel is ook een grote troef van het hotel, wij waren er voor de 2de keer en werden hartelijk ontvangen door iedereen, van de hotel manager, receptie, kok, bar personeel. Ook James de persoon die je bagage en kamer toelicht is super. Verder ligt het hotel op een goede plaats in de stad en beschikt het over een privé parking. Wij lagen wel aan een kamer met zicht op het zwembad op de 2 de verdiep. Dat was een goede kamer. Op de kamer hadden wij geen wifi ontvangst, en aan het zwembad was tijdens de dag de wifi snelheid ook matig tot traag vermoedelijk door het aantal gebruikers op het netwerk. Maar met een goed 5G abonnement met voldoende data was dit geen probleem.

Cleanliness could be improved — particularly in the bathroom, which required extra attention. The sink is in the room and it did not run properly. Low quality and quantity for shampoo and shower gel. The pool area often felt overcrowded. Many guests reserved sunbeds with towels but did not use them for hours, leading to long queues in the breakfast area from people waiting to secure a spot. The hotel is located quite far from a proper beach, which was a bit inconvenient. Noise levels were higher than expected, which made it less relaxing at times.

• ambre (8/5): - L’hôtel était vraiment agréable, avec une chambre spacieuse et un lit très confortable. Tout était parfaitement propre. La cuisine était de qualité et le personnel particulièrement accueillant et attentionné. Malheureusement, l’environnement autour de l’hôtel était très bruyant. J’ai souvent été réveillée la nuit à cause des cris, de la circulation ou encore de la musique. Si vous recherchez le calme, ce n’est pas l’endroit idéal. Les piscines sont agréables, mais elles manquent de transats : avec le monde qu’il y a, il faut attendre qu’un se libère, ce qui est assez contraignant.

• Romanchenko (2/5): Совершенно не комфортно и не тянет на уровень 4 звезды. - Служащие на ресепшен бвли очень отзывчивы. Часы завтрака и ужина достаточно гибкие В номере кроме кровати и очень маленького шкафа нет мебели, умывальнтк стоит в спальне , а в туалетной комнате он отсутствует. Также в туалете нет ни единой полочки или столика, чтоб разместить свои вещи , мыло и шампуни, очень тесно. Отель имеет несколько входов и наш вход вообще выглядел заброшено - пыльно и душно. Еда была просто ужасной - переваренная паста, много жира во многих блюдах и десертах, овощи не свежие и маленький их выбор . Мы несколько дне вообще не ходили в столовую отеля. особо надо отметить планировку самого отеля - очень неудобно ходить в столовую через два бассейна и подниматься вверх по крутой лестнице ,а чтоб сократить переход, нужно выйти на центральную улицу изайти в центральный вход и снова совершить проход. Третий и главный бассейн вообще находится на верхнем уровне и в него можно попасть только через столовую. Самое ужасное, что на ужин не предоставляются никакие напитки - ты можешь их заказать за дополнитьельную плату у официанта . даже воду! ни о каком графине с водой на столе вообще нет речи. Двери в номерах очень тонкие и слышно,как гремит с утра уборщица или же проходят ночью проживающие.

The breakfast is very tasty, with a variety from where to choose from. We will definitely book again and again for every time we will come to visit Hersonissos. Amazing experience 10/10 .

The room wasn't clean, and It was noisy at night ,from the road, so we couldn't sleep well. The coffee was terrible. No enough sun beds for everyone. The pool was too cold.

Unfortunately we had also bad experience with taxi from hotel. Somebody probably forgot to order taxi to the airport for what we ask. Thats not the problem, it can happend. But they start to lie and start to tell us that there is a car accident and thats why he will be few minutes later. After 25 minutes waiting, we order our taxi and it came earlier than this one. Sometimes its better to say true specialy when you are going to the airport.

• Yianniskes (10/5): A modern hotel with the original Cretan spirit. - A great hotel with facilities and big potential to grow. Convenient buffet breakfast,plenty of choices. The concept of the rooms is extraordinary and cozy. Beautiful outside pool with the sun always facing it(easy to get tanned...or burnt :) ). Prices are low for what the hotel provides. The biggest thank you goes to the people working there with their natural hospitality spirit. A special thank you to Antonis from the reception for solving all of our "issues" and elevating our experience and the stay to the maximum point!
• Andrea (10/5): Relaxing. - The staff were very friendly - especially Antonios at the front desk. The pool was incredible and there was barely any noise given that the hotel is close to the main road. Could totally relax and the prices for food and drink were very reasonable. It was nice that the room was cleaned every day. The location is also ideal making it easy to go out and eat at the local restaurants. The gym needed a bit more attention in terms of cleaning and organisation. The sound proofing between rooms wasn’t that good. Not many tv channels in English.

Menu very varied in terms of drinks and food by the main pool too. Friendly and helpful staff. Pictures look great but it's a little tatty and could have been cleaner. There were silverfish in the room and one day I saw a small cockroach. The bathroom door handle came off one day while I was in there too. We were celebrating a special occasion so unfortunately this all put a bit of a dampener on the whole thing.

• Rebecca (10/5): 10/10 would recommend. Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. - The staff are so lovely especially the receptionists - Eva was so helpful and sorted us with a late checkout. There was another lovely woman who helped us a few times, I didn’t catch her name but she was so helpful and bubbly. The main pool area was gorgeous with music playing throughout the day. You could order food and drinks with the QR codes on the tables straight to your sun loungers. The breakfast buffet was great as well as the buffet in the evening that had a lot of choice. There is also a bar connected to the hotel on the strip - all of the staff are great but the red haired woman working there in particular was so so lovely. If you are looking for draught Mythos, they sell it here as the hotel restaurant has bottled.
• D (8/5): Very good - Very friendly staff, modern interior, 4 pools with many sunloungers. The music during the day was really too loud, difficult, if you just want to read and relax.
• Georgina (7/5): You get what you pay for…. average - Great location, nice staff on Reception, bed was comfy Breakfast was average, always cold. Hotel does not look as advertised on the website, pretty run down and needs an update, however for the price it is what I was expecting. Rooms are tiny, specifically the bathroom, unable to shut the door without stepping into the shower. Also had ants in our bathroom. Nowhere for storage and balcony was big enough for 1 person to sit on. Couldn’t get a space at the pool (people queued at 9.30am to get a bed for 10am). There are other pools we had to go to, nowhere near as nice as the pool in the pictures though. Ordered drinks/food at the pool via the QR code, didn’t work we waited an hour to be told they didn’t receive the order (this happened a few times).
• Renee (8/5): Good for a short trip. - I loved my room. Very spacious and suitable for me (solo traveller). The hotel was in a good location so easily accessible when I wanted to visit the main strip. The largest pool was my favourite as it was so visually pleasing. I enjoyed the buffet style cuisine. There was variety and the food was tasty. Staff were also extremely helpful and kind. The drain in my bathroom had a really bad smell. I did see another review about this but didn’t think much of it. When not using the shower I kept that door closed. Fortunately I was out most of the day so only had to endure that for 1 night.

• Megan (8/5): A pretty hotel, nice for a couple of days by the pool and a good base to explore outside of Hersonissos, but it’s the st - The main pool area and the restaurant are very aesthetic. It’s kind of soulless though, same repetitive unknown beach music pumping all day or dinner jazz in the evening. The pool bar is excellent with great coffee, cocktails and smoothies. The breakfast was tasty, sometimes hot items were cold though, they could do with having warmers. Balcony view from the rooms overlooking the pool is stunning. The staff are really what brings this place up to satisfaction, they’re all amazing friendly and a credit to the hotel. I was given a complimentary upgrade to half board, which was very kind. The bathroom is unbelievably small you have to step into the shower to close the door to get to the loo. The bathroom also smells damp and musty. Bed was 2 singles pushed together, not what I’d expect from a king room in a 4* hotel. The rooms are scuffed and need painting. No room service. The pool opens at 10am but people start queuing at 9.30am, which is ridiculous and means you have to join the queue if you want a bed as everyone jumps up to join in. Standing in the hot sun for 30mins right in the middle of the restaurant, the hotel should request that people do not queue.

The hotel doesn't have a beach, nor is it close to a nice beach. The nicest beaches are 15-20 minutes taxi ride away. The dinner was ok but not more than that. I traveled with a friend and even when asked, they couldn't provide 2 beds, just 1.

• Amy (7/5): Pleasant stay with a few hiccups - - Value for Money:Overall, we found our stay to be good value for money and enjoyed our time at the hotel. - Efficient Check-in:Despite arriving late, we were promptly given our room upon arrival. - Buffet Quality:The buffet was quite good overall. Some nights were exceptional with delicious options and great variety. The themed nights with performers, which occurred three out of the four nights of our stay, were a delightful touch. Breakfast was consistently good and offered a solid start to the day. - Late Check-Out Assistance: Antonis was very helpful and managed to secure us a room for the entire day at no extra charge, which allowed us to enjoy our last day comfortably. We spent the day by the pool and even had dinner before leaving, making for a pleasant end to our stay. - Smaller Pool Areas:The three smaller pools with fewer sunbeds were much more enjoyable and quieter than the main pool. - No Food on Arrival: The restaurant had closed, and no food had been set aside for us despite having paid a half-board rate for the first night. - Housekeeping Issues: The cleaners were consistently slow and woke us up every morning, ignoring the "Do Not Disturb" sign. They still hadn't finished cleaning by 2 PM when we returned from the pool. - Room Condition: Our room was basic and somewhat disappointing for a new hotel. There were noticeable scuffs on the walls and a general lack of newness. - Late Check-Out Process: The process of arranging a late check-out was drawn-out and inconvenient, requiring multiple requests and follow-ups. - Main Pool Atmosphere:The main pool had loud music and there was often a que to get a bed in the morning to say the beds were crammed in is an understatement - Pool Towel Rental: You need to rent pool towels for a EUR 20 cash deposit or buy them for EUR 30, which was inconvenient since we didn't have cash on hand. Luckily, there were cash points nearby. - Clientele: The clientele were predominantly young adults on their first holidays, which might not suit everyone’s preference.

Nice different buffet for breakfast and dinner! The bathroom is the smallest i ever seen, you have just the room for the shower! The room looks very poor, something seems missing, not a plant, a vase or even a painting! Very basic

A beautiful hotel and the food is excellent both in the morning and in the evening. And the price is simply affordable

A bottle of water upon arrival is a nice touch. And a surprise with a floating tray with fruits was just amazing! True that there is no soundproof at all. My room was the last in the corridor and I heard everything even from the stairs. But it is a common thing in Cretan hotels, and I always wear earplugs in Greece)) Would be nice to add some wooden tiles to a metal ladder that brings to a pool and a restaurant. When you step on it it is noisy as hell😅 So it bothers guests who relax at the pool near it, and you can hear this noise even from rooms that are facing the pools. I guess this issue can be addressed very easily. All in all, it was a great stay, and I wish the hotel all the best it its development.
