- David (2/5): Uncomfortable being in such a poor quality holiday let. - The house was cleaned but it was so badly renovated it looked very grubby. Very poor quality of house renovation for a holiday let. Very poor kitchen and food preparation equipment – we were going to cook an Xmas dinner but had no chance. Appalling garden, well concrete slab.

- Kodiey (6/5): We managed for the 2 nights but wouldn’t want to stay here again. - The majority of the property was warm and beds were comfortable The towels are too small, the overall cleanliness of the property wasn’t the best and could definitely do with some tlc. The upstairs toilet was broken therefore had to use downstairs one (which has no heating and is freezing) we wasn’t informed of this before we arrived. Also a broken tile in the bathroom which is very dangerous especially for little peoples feet. There were no oven dishes/trays to cook with and the garden is very unsightly although it’s winter and we luckily didn’t need to go out there.

- Natasha (1/5): Awful - On the face of it the home was somewhat presented. Booking the property was easy. On arrival the property the outside was grim. The bins were over flowing, there were pallets on the drive and mud splashed up the doors. As we entered, the condition of the property became apparent. While on first glance it is well presented, there is grime, finger prints and dirt all up the doors, the walls, the windows and the kitchen. We felt so uncomfortable we stayed for a couple of hours to see family and decided not to stay and drive the 4 hours home. We made contact with the property so request a refund. After no response we contacted Booking.com customer services to support with some resolution.
The property responded to customer services and lied saying that we had stayed at the property overnight with apparent 'proof' of us staying over night with our car in the drive way on the following morning. This is an outright lie. The 'proof' they have which we have not seen must have been fabricated as we have proof of going through the M6 Toll and arriving at our own property on our security cameras at just after midnight.
Additionally they stated we made them halve the security deposit, this was not the case. They asked for £250 security deposit which we completely understood, however, they wanted it to be a bank transfer and we were not comfortable as provided us with no protection. We asked for a hold on our credit card or a different was to do pay so we could use our CC.
I have genuinely never experienced such poor customer service and been lied to in such a blatant way.

Booking.com and trading standards have an official complaint from me including proof that the below response is a lie.
I have evidence of all my correspondence, photos and M6 Toll receipt to prove that they must have doctored photos of my vehicle.
